Went in for a burn of my leg and was prescribed a topical antibiotic that is not particularly suited for burns and had an adverse reaction. The pharmacist at Walmart did state that the antibiotic does normally do a good job. Upon examining the internet the prescribed antibiotic is not highly recommended and suggestions are made for more favorable antibiotics. The PA needs to make better decisions.

We were there when they opened. Was made to wear a mask when the employees werent. No other patients there and still waited an hour before I got fed up and left. Went to Speight Family medical and got seen in lest than 5 minutes. They should honestly close urgent medical care in Pomona TN.

We had a lovely experience as out of town guests seeking care. Highly recommend.

I choose this place over all others in town because they dont rush you through. You are a cared for friend and get quality care. Its not long to see the practitioner and the nurses are great.

The nicest, friendliest, and most carrying people at a walk in/urgent care clinic. Everyone seemed like they were actually happy to be there and wanting to take care of their patients. I felt like I was at my primary physicians office. Definitely recommend this place, just be there before 30 minutes to close (it is on the window).

I have brought my daughter here many times. They are always quick and the providers are always kind. They go above and beyond! Of the the horrific experiences we have had in Dickson with Dickson Medical Associates, this place is a breath of fresh air! We were in there yesterday and, even with a full waiting room, we were in and out in about an hour!

I called to see if they would see a child to remove a bead from her ear. They said sure if she can sign in by 5:30. Got there by 5:30 & they refused to see her because she had never been seen there. How about giving that info over the phone Kasey! What a waste of our time & gas. Actually second time they have refused to see someone in family because they had never been seen there. YOU ARE NOT PRIMARY CARE! You are urgent care. That’s why NPs owning their own clinics is WRONG! And I am an NP. Poor service.

Always a short wait time. They have wonderful doctors and nurses. In fact ,they saved my life! Anytime I need a doctor right away, I go to Urgent Care. Me and my husband love this place. Ive told many people about them and they have also started going there as well. Thanks Urgent Care!!

The hours claim they are open until 8, but they shut down their computer at 7:30. Nowhere do they mention they stop seeing patients after 7:30 pm. Wasted a trip with my son running 102 fever, needing a strep test, pretty sure we could’ve accomplished that in the 24 minutes we had before 8:00.

First visit and they were very professional without even knowing I was a nurse. They got me in fast and was VERY thorough and went above and beyond what they had to do to get me the best care when referred me out to specialist. I thought everyone I encountered was amazing!

I always receive great care for me or my 2yr old. Its nice having somewhere to go after normal doctor office hours. Quickest place Ive ever been to be seen.

My grandmother came in there the other day, and whoever she saw was very rude to her. I just now found out about this incident. At any establishment you put your customer first. Even if they are rude or disorderly. I’m very ashamed to hear that this happened to a woman who was ill and all they did was laugh at her and make her feel unwelcome. I hope you all feel ashamed of yourself. God will punish those who treat others like they are less fortunate or less of a human being. I hope you all don’t treat anyone else the way you did her. Urgent Medical Care in Pamona is a wonderful place to seek medical treatment when in a hurry. I was just seen for a burn and I was in there for ten minutes. The women are outstanding and very professional. I would recommend this walk-in clinic to anyone.:)

Been going here since 2011 and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is fantastic, the wait times are generally nonexistent and they call you back promptly if you call with a question. In fact, I called them then sat down to write this review while I was waiting and two words into it theyd called me back already.

2 minutes of the doctor in the room, hardly touched my knee that I was in there for and the charge was $164. I wanted to go back in and say something. If she acted more concerned it wouldn’t have bothered me but it was kinda like she was behind and didn’t have the time to waste on a pulled muscle.

Love when a doctor doesnt listen, give you a shot you dont need, writes a prescription and sends to the wrong pharmacy after she already asked you 3 times and was told 3 times. The nausea sent the problem, as stated. The excruciating pain, as stated , was the reason we were here....so you think a shot for chemo patients (which has now made her violently ill) was the solution ? Jesus Christ stay away from this place.

They have a cash charge sheet that they give you before seeing the doctor so you know if you can afford it.

I had UTI symtoms. I saw callahan and was treated with a prescription. The APN was very nice and took a culture to make sure the medicine she gave me was appropriate. She asked me to come back if still having problems. The next day a very rude man called and advised me that there was bacteria found but the urine had been contaminated. Just use the medicine I had and if didnt work come back.

They wont see you unless you pay 20% of your balance, but they wont tell you you have a balance unless its in collections. Wouldnt ever go here again.

I took my sick daughter to get tested for the flu. They close at 8:00 pm and we arrived there at 7:32 pm, after driving 30 minutes to get there and they turned us away. I could understand if they had a waiting room full of patients but they only had 1 person waiting in the waiting room. I’m in the healthcare industry myself and can not understand how anyone can be so cold hearted over 2 minutes, which is probably how long it took me to get my sick little girl out of the car.

At Urgent Medical Care, you are not only treated, you are cared for. Its funny seeing that on the home page. I brought my 7 year old son who was broke out severely in poisen ivy. Pulled up right at 7:30 on the dot and the receptionist practically runs to turn the open sign off and refuses to see my son. All he needed was a steroid shot. We have used this place so many times rather than driving all the way to Bellevue to the pediatricians office. NO MORE!!! I will never come here again!!!

I have always recommended this urgent care in Dickson until Sunday 6/28/15...I know that they stop seeing patients 30 minutes before closing, on Sundays they close at 5. I walked in at 4:30 in the dot with my 10 month old son. His eye had starting gooping up and swelling so we rushed him up there, they turned away a baby!!! They would not see him even though his eye was just about swollen shut, they would not see him!! I was so hurt that I started balling, I will Never go back there and I will make sure everyone I know will not go there again.

Very prompt, friendly, amazing alternative to the ER when pcp office is closed. Very thorough and genuinely seem concerned, great with adults and children=)

I was a first-time patient today (sinus infection) and treated with utmost care and attention from a nursing staff and the two PA/FNPs. My total wait time was less than 20 minutes, and I will absolutely return in the future. This is a wonderful place.

Showed up 20 min before they closed and was told to come back tomorrow. Will never ever come back. Stay away

Went to Urgent Care Friday,Dec.21 had been coughing for two days and two nights .Was not checked for strep or flu.Recirved steroid shot and clear pills for cough.By Sunday I was much worse and elected not to go back to Dickson Urgent Care.Went to fast Pawe in Camden swapped for flu(negative)diagnoses with bronchitis and allergy/sinus infection.Given two shots and two prescriptions.Had I relied on Urgent are I would most likely have caught pneumonia.This was my first and last visit to Dickson Urgent Care.

I took my boyfriend here cause he was sick..the doctor did chest xray and said he had pneumonia..the doctor sent us to the emergency room. They did chest xray there and it show no sign of pneumonia..he only had bronchitis..so it cost us 150.00 for emergency room services that wasnt necessary..

This is a horrible place with awful care. The nurses attending to my sick momma laughed at her when she complained about being cold. How could anyone laugh at a sick person!? They will never get any money from me if they are the last place left on earth to go to.

The doctors are great but better be there a hour before they close cause if u show up 4:28 and the close 5 they want see u even though they suppose to the receptionist we dealt with was sure not worthy

The staff there doesn’t care about anything but their bottom line. After calling in the prescription wrong they would not correct their mistake. Stay far far away from these money mad fools.They just seem determined to make their mistake your problem. They will never get my or my family and friends business ever again.Low standards breeds contempt for their customers.

Update your hours!!!!!!! You close at 7:30 not 8pm. Its a waste of time to make a sick person drive there when you say you close at 8 but wont take patients after 7:30. Thank you for letting my wife drive 20 minutes to get there at 7:39 and turn her away.

Very rude. They turned away my 2 yr. Old son bc I didnt have his insurance card. Refused to look up and told us to leave.
