A lot of these reviews are from when we had our maintenance worker dying and the land lady going through a rough patch. The places is so much better now, clean, smell free and absolutely incredible workers now. A lot of permanent residents but we always have spots available. If you can’t reach us at any time just continue trying, sometimes our phone lines go out or short. If you call between 12:00-1:00 it’s because that’s our lunch . Definitely give it a second try if you have the chance, our place has definitely been turned around! ☺️

Pros: Very reasonable cost, very friendly residents, a trail in the back of the property, a swimming pool, and playground (tetherball pole, 2 slides, a swingset, and a merry go round).Cons: the spots are very close together and the trail has been used for dumping.

Dickson RV Park was a cozy campground that was very affordable. We had a 26 motorhome with full hook-up and checked into our spot at night. Theres a laundry room available for use. Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be any WiFi.

I never leave bad reviews, but this is not a place for anyone to stay, much less families! Its definitely a look into the sad shape this country has come to. I wont go into details, but I will say DO NOT STAY HERE, GO AWAY like one of their signs shows on one of their sites....take their advise! 👍

Very quiet RV/camper site with great rates. The staff is very friendly. They fit us in last minute on Memorial Day weekend. Showers have great hot water and water pressure. Also bathroom was spotless.

This RV Park is a nice quiet place to live. They have a very nice pool for everyone when it gets hot. Available showers and laundry room.

Very old and run down. It was ok for a one nighter, nothing more. Checked out the bathroom...not going there. Has a lot of permanent residents that Im sure are very nice but...the permanents are what makes the place look so run down. Sites are not level making it difficult to set up. On the positive side...lots of trees and shade.

I went today to take a look for a spot. The manager is awesome. Its nice and quite and the rates are awesome but what sold it for me was the wonderful customer service she gave to me from the moment I walked in the door. Look forward to pulling in my camper 😉

We drove through it to check it out and it was completely crammed wall-to-wall barely two feet between trailers and motorhomes

Quiet, nearly eerie. Park in general was okay. Staff was absolutely rude. We stayed a month and never knew the lady owners name. Every time I would go to the office for mail, laundry etc. I felt like I was interrupting her TV time. She would talk to you while her eyes never left the TV screen.The maintenance worker was nice the first day, helping us level on the steep terrain. After that day he just seemed angry all the time. During our stay the water froze, and asking for help is a absolute no-no. His only response was that we needed heat tape and our hose will never make the winter. After his 3 minute rant we finally explained that our pipes and water lines were not the problem, but the water froze in the ground. We received a not my problem attitude and a wait until it thaws out next week.After arriving we had a USPS delivery of medication sent to the park. With tracking we knew that it was delivered and at what time. When we went to pick up from the office, the lady told us all packages are placed on the freezer, yet ours was not there. It had been stolen and again she the owner could not be pulled or bothered from the TV.Showers are disgusting and gross,locked at 6pm due to vandalism after the office closes. From 6-8 and 3-5:30ish it is a madhouse using the facilities.Mostly long term rental users.This place would thrive if the clean cut, respectful and kind husband was running the place. They need to make long term residents clean their sites.Overall our experience was okay. If they were to put effort into the water issue and had a bit of customer service, and made some effort for security of the mail, this would be a great place. Close to food and highway and prices are some of the cheapest you will find.While packing up our site, we finally seen the owner out of the office, she ignored our greeting while she tallied our power meter and ignored us while passing as if we did something wrong. Grabbing some hot water from the facilities to do some basic cleaning before we left, I saw the maintenance guy who promptly asked what I was doing with the hot water. I responded just some hot scrubbing water. He scolded me not to pour hot water on his outside pipes as I would break some seal. I told him again it was for cleaning and we were leaving because of them not caring about the water. He did apologize, but it was a little too late.

This was by far the worst campground we have ever stayed at. The staff is rude and unwelcoming. Mostly long term campers with very dilapidated equipment and lots of junk and unwelcoming signs like “go away”. And “no trespassing.” It was after hours when we arrived and it was difficult to read the campsite numbers. The site we got was extremely unlevel. Worst thing was our electric box didn’t work, and the phone number for the campground had a “full mailbox” so we couldn’t contact anyone. My husband sleeps with CPAP so had to go without. When he talked to the staff in the AM we were hoping to get at least a partial repayment but they were quite rude and acted as if he was lying.

This place is the worst place I have ever been to or seen. The owner or proprietor Judy its so rude that when customers complained about things not working properly on the campsite she tells them not my problem dont ever stay here cheap doesnt mean good.

Nice people own and run park, available every day. Park is kept well, and is in a very convenient location practically on I-40. It is older and often laundry facilities arent in full working order, and park store isnt well stocked, but there is propane, and it is very close to Dollar store, multiple gas stations, Walmart and grocery stores. Cheapest place around to stay even if its not perfect.

Beautiful site. Had potential but: men’s restroom filthy, 3 commodes all feces in them. No forms for the nite drop box. The construction workers on site were extremely nice.

Run down is not the word for this place. My power would not stay on and it was 15 degrees outside. There response was we will check it and after 6hrs it wasnt fixed. It left and tried to get my money back but they would have none of it. I hope nobody stops at this run down place.

Ive not had any problems, the manager is always nice to me, its quite, convenient to hospitals, stores,etc. Ive not heard or seen any police like others have said, they keep it up good, will be here for a while.

Super important mail was lost at the front office. Apparently its a known issue due to a poorly monitored mail area. I was told to watch for mail myself since people arent honest, but was never even informed that we have a designated mail slot before this incident. Lesson learned after a $466 mail loss. I had to re-purchase and then had it sent general delivery at the local post office. Nevermind the impact on me in the meantime. Complete lack of help or empathy from staff.Poorly lit Campground, lots of steep inclines within the lots themselves, public restrooms and showers are gross. The child play area is not maintained. Wifi does not reach our lot. Ill never return.

It was ok. They have a pool and wifiHowever the WiFi did not reach my lot. I had to use my hotspot and data to get internet. The owner and worker are very nice and friendly. Also had water and electricity.

Stayed there for a couple of days.the maintenance guy (the guy with the beard) mowed some old ladys flowers down for no reason what so ever plus he takes hours to do one simple task and peeps into windows to look at girls (dont advise anyone to go there)

Tried to get information about the place today. Younger staff member was very friendly and willing to get me the basic information about staying there, but the older staff member was very rude to me (a potential paying customer.)
