Its a gym, there a pool, theres a sauna, and unisex jacuzzi and steam room. A+ for cleanness.

Nice place to workout , sometimes gets busy and have to wait for ppl to clear which is bothering but overall experience is good and people are friendly staff and customers, can’t wait to be back in shape. They’ve also done a lot of hard work to keep people safe during the covid comeback by taking precautions and sanitation actions.

This La fitness has gotten upgraded in the past few years, it looks good and the machines arent too close to one another. Not a bad gym, has everything you could want in a gym. There is no child center though which means less visits from me until Chino hills opens again.

Public - BE AWAREI hate writing negative reviews but in this case I have been left with no choice.BE AWARE!!!!Even after confirming with local management and staff that both of my accounts with LA Fitness Diamond were cancelled with a zero (0) balance, LA Fitness has continued to attempt to charge my credit card literally every day for the past 10 days. I have had to direct my credit card company to not honor any LA Fitness charges.To make matters worse, getting a hold of the gym, the gym management, and or corporate management has been extremely difficult. Just try calling the gym and see how many times it rings before the phone is answered or you decide to hang up.Despite their representations to the contrary (I do not owe anything and I should not see any new charges), LA Fitness continues to try and charge me improperly (fraudulently).Public, please be aware! Whether this is a mistake or not, LA Fitness internal accounting controls have a lot to be desired - Terrible!LA Fitness, I am still waiting for a call back.GD

Freeweights all over the place.

The facilities are just great. Most of the classes are excellent. There are only a couple of instructors that are not good. So if you see an instructor that you dont like, dont give up; there are other instructors. FD or receptionist, including the manager, is different story. Most of them are not good and occasionally someone is good. So if you run into someone you dont like, dont worry: you are not there to interact with the staff. This is a general comment about LA Fitnesses in Pomona, La Vern, West Covina arena. Overall, La Fitness is a great club.

My locker was pried open, my iphone was stolen, and the LA fitness staff did nothing!

Not too crowded if you go during non-peak and non-class times. Three stars is for outdated equipment that has seen better days. it has a kids club, pool, basketball court etc. When will the machines downstairs be replaced? For now I’ll go to the Chino location but I prefer going to the DB one for convenience and will return when the older machines are replaced

Good gym. LA fitness on Golden spring Dr., Has upgraded and new fitness equipments; however, the steam room is filthy (ceiling paint is pulling, molds). Jacuzzi and sauna rooms dirty. Sorry, I cannot rate it 4 and higher.

Busy place. Staff is usually friendly. Bathroom cleanliness is getting a little better since they have a full time cleaning lady there. The weight machines are acceptable (not old like the City of Industry LA Fitness). Overall, I like come to this place to workout.* Please dont park too far away from the front entrance; theres lots of car break-in at this Diamond Bar location. Couple of years ago, I saw a Hispanic young man smashing a BMW windows. I walked back to the gym and let the staff know. By the time they got out, the car thief had left already. It used to happen frequently that you see broken glasses on the parking lot, now, it is getting better; I see broken glasses on the parking lot floor only once a while. So be careful, and try to park as close to the gym as possible. They broken into my daughters car too.

I love working out here. The people here, for the most part, are friendly. Little to no fights occur here. Great place to workout and make some friends.

I am not sure why it takes LA Fitness over a month to fix the air conditioning in the racquetball courts Im truly am a member just for this option only and I dont think its right to be charged the full amount when that service is not provided

Just started going to this LA Fitness a couple weeks ago. I used to go to the one down in City of Industry, but for reasons which I wont go into because I try not to be a complainer I migrated over to this LA Fitness. So far everything is good. The facility is clean, the machines are clean, the bathroom is clean, the paper towel dispensers are always filled (great when a Gyms staff is on the ball about this, I hate having to hunt paper towel dispensers to get some to wipe myself with, its such a pain). Anyways so far this LA Fitness has been treating me good.

DO NOT sign up with them, the manager is really rude and does not care about customer at all.Here is my story, on last Sunday morning, after I left the center, I found I forgot my basket in the ladies locker room. So I called them right away, there was a nice lady picked up my phone and asked me not to hang up, she told me she found my basket. I told her to keep it for me because I was in rush to church. She said not to worry, she asked my name and said will put my name on the basket and keep it in lost and found. Since they close early on Sunday night, I went there on Monday, the front desk person told me their janitor cleaned out everything in lost and found. I was shocked, I ask her why janitor threw away customers stuff that your staff keep it for me and even with a name on it....Then the RUDE manager, Kevin, came to me, dont even ask the whole thing, he keep telling me our center is not responsible for any of your lost... I said if your staff had told me that you dont keep customers stuff, I would come back right away to pick it up . the manager, he was still not listening, he just keep say maam, there is nothing in here, there is nothing I can do... I said I dont accept your explanation, you dont treat your customer like this, you dont even ask who answered my phone call, who put the name on it, and tell your staff not threw customers stuff away with a name on it.... He just shrugged, give me a I dont care attitude. dont even tell me he will train their staff correctly in future....If this is what their attitude at work, if they dont care about customer, why would we want to join them!

Good workout machines, pretty clean place. Treadmill running sucks, no fan on machines and theyre on the second floor which gets hot. Its been getting really crowded, so avoid peak times like the plague. Overall, a good spot. Not too pricey, great if you have kids, and well maintained machines.

If you have ever been to the La Verne location, this gym basically looks like a clone of it. It is right by the 60 freeway so that is convenient in itself. Im usually here after work around 4:30 PM and it gets pretty packed. Nothing significant to report tbh, just your normal gym.

Clean and all equipment and facilities are up and running everytime Ive visited. The locker room is large and laid out well, plenty of available lockers, steam room and jacuzzi is in the locker, which is a nice touch.Negatives are that the dumbells are scattered and not organized by weight, and customers (especially the younger ones) occupy the gym equipment as benches from which to carry on extended texting. Those, however, are issues at many gyms. But would be nice if the front desk team patrolled the gym regularly to monitor for the aforementioned stuff.

This LA fitness is decent size and i thought the environment in this gym was better than most gyms. Personal Trainers dont go wondering around always looking for clients to sell their training, but they actually are friendly and nice to their members. I only wished they would maintain some of their equipment more, but I that doesnt bother me too much.

This LA Fitness is less than a mile from my office so I come here every weekday M-F. Around lunch time it is usually fairly empty which makes it easy to put in a quick workout without waiting for weights or machines. The mens locker room has always been clean with plenty of amenities. My only complaint is that they dont seem to have fixed weight straight barbells, only curl barbells.

Been going to this gym since summer of 17, d3cent spot, gets packed during rush hours, sometimes need to wait 5-10min for a spot/machine/weight,restrooms are well kept but get messy during rush hours, staff are nice, inside air becomes stuffy during the summer (inadequate AC)edit (June 2019) - the new janitor (big dude) is basically slapping the dust around with a towelupdate (December 2019) - EVERYTHING IS NEW!!! new flooring, new machines, new layout! this gym finally got the renovation it desperately needed. restroom is still unchanged aside from new wallpaper?now time to use everything before it gets old again lol

The staff is nice the gym is usually pretty clean. Only issue is they need updates weight machines cuz theyre like run down 90s equipment and could use more stretching mats/areas. Only good thing is the free weights cardio machines and the cable machines as well.

This LA Fitness has a crime problem. People have been breaking into locked lockers and cars, and the manager refuses to do anything useful about it. Sheriffs department detectives say they refuse to put up cameras that would be helpful in solving the problem.

We have only had one issue with an LA Fitness and it was resolved completely by the manager here. Arturo has the dedication and integrity that all LA Fitness employees should have. We do wish, however, they would have more locations out in the west.

Weve had a membership here for over 13 years. The facilities are kept clean, the personal trainers usually leave you alone (usually), and the basketball court/swimming pool/fitness class area is maintained well. around 5:30-7pm weekdays can get a bit busy, and the pool is busy early weekend mornings.

Equipment is great, basketball court is well kept. been going here since 2002, recently went through a remodel. the pool is nice and the yoga class has great teachers. the only cons: thieves in the dark parking lot will break into your car at night, and the trainers are vultures here... always looking for clients. let me work out in peace

The absolute worst customer service you’ll ever find, gym or not. Aggressive and rude associates. Don’t even think about trying to use their “complimentary guest pass” without being hassled. I didn’t even get to use a day on it, just walked in and out after 5 minutes of verbal abuse and pressure from their incompetent and VERY rude manager.

Its a very nice club with towel service. machines do take a long time to be serviced though. And the biggest problem there is the actual clientele. There are a lot of old people there that just sit on the machines and literally sit there and read books. But nobody says anything. So they do have a big problem with people just there to take up space. But besides that, its one of my favorite clubs

You mean AL fitness? All the lie around those BS agreement that they ask you to sign. When u ask about freezing account, they told u is absolutely free. However they will charge u 10 dollars each month, and 20 bucks to unfreeze. AL fitness is all BS and lies. Don’t ever come this location also. BS treadmills are old AF and shaking while u r running. One price for one location and more expensive for all clubs. They should’ve change name like AL or BS fitness.

I don’t recommend this LA Fitness. My car has been opened on the parking lot and I had the windows broken and my wallet stolen. The LA Manager have refused to help me and totally ignoring what I said. Please keep far away to this place. No respect with the seniors people.****************NO A SAFETY GYM*****************

Art is the 4th manager we spoke with. He turned a terrible situation around by owning it. The gym has great amenities and wonderful staff. We greatly appreciate how clean and well kept the facility is.

This LA Fitness is fine... I go here because its convenient and has a good variety of weights, machines, etc... However... It is usually pretty messy between the weights NEVER being racked correctly to machines never being wiped down to showers full of hair and gunk. Im usually finding myself grossed out by SOMETHING while Im there. The front desk staff is also less than stellar and doesnt seem to really care about people coming/going (Im very rarely greated or anything), or issues throughout the gym. Its a place to workout with a decent array of things to do in order to work out. Ive been to much better LA Fitness gyms, and I wish this one would step it up. Would love some WiFi in the gym and/or car charging stations too like other gyms... I feel like this gym is forgotten about by the company sometimes.

My fav la fitness in the area. Not perfect but definitely the cleanest and most organized. Staff doesnt just try to sell pt sessions but will actually have a conversation with you. Equipment is modern, hope they keep up the good work.

The manager I a jackass with customers and employees specifically with the cleaning crew. He is condescending and rude. He acts powerful with a woman. Somebody needs to do something with this individual unless this franchise wants jerks for managers just like the previous manager. I can go on and on about this jackass.

My car was broken into yesterday at this gym and the asst manager said I could come in the next day and see the tapes and to ask for the manager Kevin. I came back the next day and he refused to let me see them. Totally unhelpful and rude. A lady parked next to me told me her car had been broken into there as well. Totally unhappy with how they are handling it. No apology no help. Just a busted up car on both sides.

I have been working out here for months and Never get warm water for shower. Its fine in summer but I have no idea with the coming seasons.

Young blonde chick working front desk is the rudest gym clerk Ive ever met . I walked in while she was on the phone and was greeted with a rude can I help you. Sure you could not take personal calls while your working and then be rude and act like Im interuppting you at home. Dont go here just for that front chick

The zumba instructors are awful! i have to pay to attend an outside private zumba studio. they play dumb music cant move or dance very well.

Came to this spot while the LA Fitness in Chino was being renovated. Now I see what Ive been missing in the Chino location for all these years.

I was incredibly overcharged at the local club in Diamond Bar, CA 91789. Located on Golden Springs, I went to this club and thought it was close to my company so I could do some training after work. The default price of your pass is $29.95 monthly with $99 initial fee. While I paid $99 initial fee they charged me $69.95 monthly, it is definitely UNFAIR and OVERCHARGED due to the information asymmetry at that moment. Also, now I know that you provided like $39.95 monthly without the initial fee, I was NOT presented this offer when I REQUIRED a lower price if possible. THIS could be deemed as CHEATING to say the least. Also, I found I could not fill out the CANCELLATION FORM online, which is my customer right to do so. I know LA fitness is notorious for hard to cancel, but being unable to even SEE the cancellation form is beyond my endurance.

It is one of the most DIRTIEST l.a. fitness clubs I have EVER been to! I went to that gym consistently for half a year, 4 times a week (unfortunately I had to go to that one because its closest to my job and I had a time limit to workout)The staff is super nice though, however it is unfortunate that this gym is filled with disgusting and dirty members. At least in the womens locker room they spit in the sinks, cough and sneeze without covering their mouths and noses, they clean their mucus right there in the open in the sink to let their nasty human germs fly free and get other healthy members ill, they leave nests of hair lieing in the sink, they use the restroom and dont even wash their hands! And in the work out area same thing many people dont cover their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing! This gym has caused me to terminate my membership and go to a different fitness company! And the cleaning people all I ever see them do is take out the trash and thats all. The restrooms always smell so bad! I never see anyone clean the toilets, sinks and machines. Oh and there are many members that do not even work out there they just sit on equipment to text, just saying. Besides this gym being filthy dirty it has caused me so much stress instead of relieving stress at a gym i gained more of how nasty it is to be breathing in all of those members dirty habits and visually seeing the cleaning staff not perform proper hygiene.

I have been coming to this gym for over a year and typically its great. However, they are kind of slow to replace broken equipment. The scale near the front desk often goes out of order. However, the staff has generally treated me well and everything works most of the time.

Need to place signs reminding users of equipment to to wipe off sweat before and after use of equipment. Also, paper towels should not be left on equipment by users.

You can have traditional bar snacks and open market foods here. Authentic

Got updated workout exercising equipment fitted for every type of workout needs. Have been using this gym for over 20yrs. They just need to add more step aerobic classes

Just a warning. If you need to cancel make sure you cancel at least 5 days before payment is taken out of bank. My payment was taken out of my bank on the 16th and I did not cancel until the 20th . Only kept the membership for 4 days this month. LA Fitness will not pro-rate my fee, So, do not expect a refund, Desk manager told me it is in the contact when you sign..Even volunteered to print the contract and show me.For anyone living on the other side of Valley and does not want to hassle with the horrible traffic and construction trying to drive to LA Fitness in Diamond Bar there is a wonderful new 24 hour Fitness on Nogales and Amar. State of the Art machines. The staff are helpful and friendly. This new club is worth checking out.

Brandon is the man. Low selection of free weights. Locker room full of old men washing balls and penises in the handwashing sinks. Should make a sign only wash genitals in showers. There are puddles of dick water just sitting on the counterspace around sink.

Ive been to a good number of LA Fitness locations to know what to look for. I have to say that I am a pretty big fan of Diamond Bars LA Fitness location. I wouldnt say its the best, but its definitely not the worst. This gym is located on Golden Springs Drive in a pretty huge plaza. There are plenty of parking spots although the closer and shadier ones are almost always filled up.The layout of this gym is pretty standard to most other newly remodeled or newly built LA Fitnesses. The cardio machines are all located on the top floor in a big oval with the center carved out allowing for all the machines to be facing towards the middle. The bottom floor has all the weights as well as a select number of cardio machines (for people who might not be able to walk up the stairs to get to the second floor). The basketball courts and the gym class areas are also on the lower floor I believe. I havent swam in this pool, but it looks pretty nice. There are lots of open windows that allow for natural lighting to shine in.Ive been to this gym in the middle of the day during lunch hour, early afternoon, and late afternoon and I havent had any problems securing a treadmill or an elliptical (compared to Arcadias location where the line can get unbearably long sometimes). These machines are more comfortable to use than Arcadias, but I dont think they have individual televisions. The channels that are on the main TVs are usually news and sports - not the most interesting when youre there in the middle of the day. The machines all work well and dont break down randomly. Theres also a good number of rowing machines here as well.As for the weights - Ive only used several of the machines. Most of them seem to be older machines, so they dont work as smoothly. Locker rooms are decent. Theres the sauna inside - the ground is made of tile, which always makes me feel like its a bit dirty. Not a fan of the showers. Theyre really tight and super cramped, so you dont get much space to move around. People also need to learn to pick up after themselves and not leave clumps of hair everywhere. So gross. They do have an extra mirror area where women can do their hair/make-up after washing up which is nice.tl;dr - Overall, I like this gym. The machines are rarely ever broken, the workers are super friendly, and there isnt a huge crowd as compared to the Arcadia location. Locker room isnt the cleanest, but ... that is pretty typical.

There should be a decency or modesty rule as the old men are ridiculous. Do they think Anyone wants to see them parading around in the locker room or camped out at the sinks? And Im being nice.Staff is good, and towel service is getting better. Bball courts are nice and lots of cleaning staff. You can tell the Managers are paying attention as the locker room and eq are Attended to much more these days. Maybe some fans and better AC on the Cardio deck though. Heat, uhh rises guys and the ceilings are low up there. Other L A fitnesses are nicer facilities and newer. Good crew, vibe, value overall. 3 1/2 * due to Old Building and Old Ball Washers..shameless old €¥+%@&?$

On 08/08/14 came in at 7:23am to receive a guest pass to make my final decision on choosing a gym. Spoke with Jose 2 days prior who instructed me to come down at any time to show my ID to receive the pass. I told him I didnt live in the area but would be relocating my home and business near this gym, and that I didnt want to take the drive to the gym in vain and not be able to use the gym after taking that drive. Jose told me no problem, well take care of you, come in at any time. Joses service was great. I felt like this was going to be the gym for me. So when I arrived, at 7:23am, I told the rep at the counter what I was instructed by Jose and that I was there to receive the guest pass. I was told that I needed to be able to show the pass, through email on my phone, to enter the gym. I agreed. When I agreed the rep then told me, oh, I cant process that for you, you have to wait for our business hours between 8am-5pm. By this time Im baffled. I was given the run-around, (from that same male rep which I didnt discuss in this letter) I was told I had to wait for business hours (and yet Im physically in your gym at 7:23am, clearly your open) and I was called a liar by the rep when he tells me oh I dont know what Jose told you, he couldve said anything....if you want to use the gym you have to pay for a one day pass to sign a waiver. Really? The rep is willing to loose a patron whos obviously serious about using your gym, along with implying that Im lying about the the conversation I had with Jose? As a business owner, I was thrown, and still am. On top of that I gave the rep my card and asked him to have the gym manager call me. The rep rep takes my card and replies, no you need to call him. ??? Are you serious? Thats how this gym treats its non-members? I would recommend a happy meal before recommending this gym.
