Dr Covi saw my youngest daughter and was wonderful. He made sure to explain everything to her as well as us as her parents. After testing he felt that my husband had the same condition and he referred us to a cardiologist that specialized in Long QT Syndrome at Childrens. We ran into a problem with my husbands pcp not authorizing the referral for him to see the doctor at Childrens stating he only referred to St John doctors even though our insurance had no such restriction. Dr Covi took time out of his busy schedule to not only personally call my husbands pcp to explain why he felt the referral was important but to then dictate a letter for us when they still refused the referral. I recommend him whenever someone is looking for a pediatric cardiologist because I truly feel he is an amazing doctor and cares for all his patients.
