So yesterday October 22 i decided to get my hair done and have it highlighted. First i want to say that my stylist was running behind and i was told to walk around the store until she was finished with the client before me. Not a big deal. So i did as i was told until she was ready every thing was going great until she had me sit under the dryer to process my hair. The stylists were talking and one stylist in particular was being extremely rude and unprofessional to my stylist. By the time i was under the dryer it was 3:30 and my stylist made sure to let me know she got off at 4, i got there at 1 by the way. So needless to say she was rushing to get me out of there and had me process my hair for only about 10 minutes. Not long enough for the product to work. At this point i was over it and told her don’t worry about drying it. When i got home i blow dried it and styled it and it was messed up. I will insert a picture so you can see but because the bleach wasn’t left on my hair long enough or toned well enough it’s brassy and not at all what i told her i wanted. So i payed 240 dollars to have my hair botched. I would not recommend this salon to any one.

All of the ladies working were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Not easy to get service these days so I really appreciated their genuine kindness. Bought the mini Tarte highlighter in Dream for 10 bucks! Love it!! 🧡

I loved Ulta in Helena Montana so I visited this store. I think I saw 5 staff people, yet none of them offered to assist us. They need to put a cell phone use policy in place.

They have great people, a wide variety, there are always good sales going on. It always feels like their ac is broken though and their bathroom could use a remodel.

Got a hair cut and they were great. They have just about everything you need for hair, makeup, facials.

If I could give this location a zero I would. Its attitude and lack of customer service. I was asked if I needed help I said yes she said ok I will be back. Well 20 minutes later still no return, I walked out. No Im sorry I got busy no acknowledgement at all. I rather spend money at my local Ulta atleast they know how to properly communicate and treat folks. To be clear this wasnt a racial incident they werent trying to help anyone at all. You can tell they just need to clean house and hire all new staff theyre way too comfortable.

I havent given 5 stars b/c their 21 days of beauty was really bad this yr. You could tell it was totally surplus products, not what you really wanted.Having said this my ULTA store is lovely. Great sales help, clean store and knowledgeable staff.Yet its impossible to buy new makeup in this CoVid environment as there are no testers.

I don’t feel I should have to have my phone number in their system for a refund if I needed to bring something back and have receipt. Cashier Pepper was rather snotty didn’t appreciate her attitude. Have shopped there for years never have been asked for my number in case I needed to return anything. I actually looked up their return policy and if you have original receipt you can get a refund without being in their system.

I love this place! I love finding the new items that come through the store. You can go in and get your eyelashes done by buying the eyelashes under 16.00 I believe that was the cost. Nonetheless I loved my eyelashes when I left. The only problem I did have was several items didn’t have prices that’s kind of annoying but the people they were so kind they had no problem helping me. This is why I give them a five star. Lots of places are losing the customer service touch but Ulta has not also has not.

Bummer. My experience of ULTA mask ‘mandate’ has given employees the right to be commanding, harshly rude to their customers; So sad. On my last trip to ULTA (never again ) the last mask got wet in rain. Had my asthma inhaler out .Manager chased me loudly, where all customers could hear, “ma’am you need to leave now” showed my inhaler. I love Ulta as a company. However I don’t think this location is a good representation of Ulta as a whole. Every single time I have gone into the store I cannot find a person that is willing to help me, and if you are lucky enough to find a person they act like you are an inconvenience when you ask them for help. I usually end up walking out when I can’t find someone to help me find a product and then I forget how bad it is and that is why I return to the store and then I’m quickly reminded why I have waited so long to go back into the store because it’s the same exact thing every time. I work retail as well and if I acted this way at my store I wouldn’t last long. Please work on the customer service in this store.

Came in to do my hair before my wedding and ended up getting my makeup done by Beckah on the fly. Due to my birth control I have melasma which darkens my skin on my upper lip so I initially just asked how to cover it up. She immediately knew the condition and how to cover it up and insisted that she do my makeup. She made me feel gorgeous and my pictures looked amazing! I believe she stated she was going to be the assistant manager soon and it is well deserved.

I visited this store on the right day! There was a really helpful associate who told us she was in education. She was wonderful, patient and kind. Ive never had such great help in any Ulta.

Ulta is like Target. You go with no end purchase goal and let the shelves tell you what to buy. In my case it’s usually everything and today was no different. Great selection of product, very helpful staff members.

Associate on floor in cosmetics offered to place an on line order for 1 bare mineral foundation that they were out of along with 1 lancome mascara applying a onetime 20 percent discount. When I received confirmation, 2 bare mineral foundations and no mascara had been ordered. So I will now have an extra foundation and no mascara. NOT what I requested!!

This location has wonderful products, and they are priced reasonably. Even the luxury lines are great, and priced accordingly. My only issue is with the staff. When asked for an opinion, usually they all will go straight to the same exact product, I shop often in Ulta, and came to realize, they push certain brands, and its not that they do a bad job, but when I ask a question about what product I would need for a certain reason, I want honest opinion. Or honest knowledge, please do not push the product line of the week at me. I have tried to explain I do not want whatever the product is, please tell me about something else, and I get a lot of well I dont know much about the other one well the push product here is way better, and its what I use! Blah blagh blah. Just stop.

I had a 1030 appt w Nasharra. To do a dramatic eye. And I had her add on lashes and curls. I had to once speak to blend a silver but said not much. I was hoping it was the lighting but it was not. And within ten minutes my hair was also straight. I had to redo my makeup at MAC who did it free it looked so bad, there was highlights all over my face. Then the manager said even though I have a photo ten minutes later of no curls could only refund my makeup AND needed to come back into the store. Roy the manager said the salon couldn’t refund both even though both were epic fails and it took until 3:30 to get the damage fixed. So one star was beyond gracious rating. I would never go there again.

Buyer Beware!! Dishonest and Bad Customer Service!!Only bought 2 items and before leaving the store I double checked the receipt and showed 2 items were higher then what was advertised on their shelf. The cashier said I could only return them and refused to honor the advertised lower price. I have had problems with this store in the past and will not shop their again.

Been destin local for 5 years. Love this place. Always has friendly staff even after all these years, unlike a lot of places around here that have a high turn around of employees.

They were late for my hair appointment then I never got a scalp message with the shampoo & the cut was average. Other then that they have a lot of nice products at good prices. But I wont be back for hair cut!

I get to the register to check out and they asked for my phone number. I said no thanks. I was informed that if I dont give it I couldnt return the $60 curling iron if it didnt work. I said if I open this tomorrow and its broken I cant return it the next day even if I have my receipt. He got annoyed and said no the system wont recognize the receipt only by phone number. I only had about $100 worth of stuff but I didnt buy anything and I wont be back. I can spend cash elsewhere and be able to return it if I have a problem without giving my personal information.

Wishing 0 stars was an option. The woman that cut my hair BUTCHERED my face frame on one side and then tried to hide it instead of fixing it. In the middle of my haircut, she left to mess with the computer more than three times and converse (by converse, I mean gossip to her coworkers about other coworkers) and then when it came time to pay they charged me $30 more than what I confirmed on the phone before making my appointment. When I brought it up and asked to pay what I was originally told they scolded me, said they couldn’t do it, and then proceeded to have an attitude when I insisted I only be charged what I confirmed before going in. The culture of that place is nasty, unprofessional, and I will never get my haircut at another ulta again. Oh, and I’ve never made a bad review online but I insist you all go somewhere else...for your hairs’ sake...

My friends and I were walking around the store and looking at things of course. When one of my friends went to pay, one of the employees (Kianna) was taking a long to scan three items. My friend overheard Kianna saying to another employee that “theres too many kids in here” even though we are 13 and weren’t anything wrong. When my friend and I went to go pay for a few items we saw Kianna smiling and silently laughing at us. While we were waiting for one more person to pay; we were smelling perfume and Kianna kept staring at us. Then we decided to wait for our friend outside and Kianna kept staring at us through the window. Kianna made me and all my friends very uncomfortable.

Salon goers BEWARE!The store itself is good. But the whole salon is horrible! The salon manager is very stuck up and on a high horse, she actually yelled and swore at me. She is rude, incompetent, inconsiderate but mostly I think just hates her job because it really shows!The woman doing my hair said she had 20 years experience. She was asking another staff member for step by step directions, on how to dye hair red... like of all things to not know how to do! All I can say is if they got rid of that salon manager and redid some training with the staff they could probably have an amazing salon.

For the most part I am happy with them. I buy mostly online though because I dont like the staff. Most are not friendly.

I tell to the person who wax my eyebrows left them thick and just cleaning them she said she had 15 years of experience that was in good hands when Dianna Kennedy finished my eyebrows she mess it up them completely now I have to wait again to grow . The worst place to have your eyebrows set. THANKYOU for NOTHING

The ladies are always extremely helpful at the Destin Ulta. While they dont carry as many extremely clean, non-toxic cosmetic lines that I would like, they do carry Tarte and a couple of other good lines.

Tish is amazing. She is really the best. She has such an eye for style, color, and cuts.

I love Ulta. I am a PLATINUM member of their reward program. Needless to say, I spend a lot of money in this store. This store has the rudest employees. Only one employee spoke to me the whole hour I was looking. There was a male employee who literally looked down his nose at me. I do not need to feel like an inconvenience. The management needs to remind the employees why they are there.

Staff friendly and helpful. Found some face mask tubes for $3.00 each. I still want to find my St. IVES clay mask again.

I had a hair and makeup appointment set at Alta Beauty Salon Destin location. The guy that did my hair had an attitude from the beginning and was annoyed that I had multiple pictures to show him for the type of hair style I wanted. He did the style and it looked nothing like what I had asked for. He attempted a 2nd time and he was so irate he was pulling me hair super hard. After that I just opted to leave with my hair however and style it myself at home. My makeup session while she was very nice the makeup not only looked horrible but from the lack of finishing it was obvious the person did not know how to actually do professional makeup. I paid $155 and went home to be told I looked like a clown or a raccoon and to please fix myself up before we headed out. I had to take down my hair and restyle it myself. Used my eye makeup remover and cotton and completely wiped off all the eye makeup. The lashes were already lifting by the time I made it home so I had to remove them too to avoid embarrassment. I highly encourage you to research your person doing your hair or makeup in advance if you need it for any type of special event, that or just go to another salon.

Its hard to express how bad of customer service this location has. We arrived there at exactly 5:42PM. We knew good and well that they closed at 6:00PM on Sundays. We had made the mistake of going on the wrong side of the road where Destin Commons is. My wife is extremely detailed with makeup and knew exactly what she wanted and could buy some stuff in 5-10 minutes. When we walked in the door, one of the female employees that was getting off work and leaving made a joke about them staying late today(the store was very packed with customers and a couple of small groups came in right behind us) Holly came up to us and my wife was asking her where a specific item was, she interrupted her 3 times saying its a blah blah gift package, we dont have it My wife told her multiple times thats not what it was, she interrupted her 3 times saying it was gift package then said they didnt have it(without listening to what the item is and said just so you know we close in 10 minutes I then watched her go to every single customer and tell them they close in 10 minutes. Practically every single customer left the store without buying something after Holly went to them with her attitude. At 5;54PM Holly LOCKED the door to the business that closes at 6:00PM. They should close at 5:30 or get new employees. The manager was a male and listened to us but clearly was on her side as it sounded like he was making fun of our complaint. By the way, my wife is some sort of DIAMOND or PLATINUM member at ULTA. I insisted we did not buy anything and we went to Sephora which closes at 8:00 and the people were nice as can be. I wish I could rate 0 stars for that nasty Holly Go across the street and save yourself from horrible customer service. The entire group was itching to get out the door and could care less about selling make up. The entire staff needs re trained from the ground up.

I travel all over the country for my job and like many of us girls ypu will run out of your necessities. If you are In a town without even an Apple store your choices are Limited to the pharmacy or if you are Lucky an Ulta Store. I have never walked into an Ulta store feeling like I do walking into Barney’s of NYC. Nope.....Never! Furthermore never in a million years would I expect too....Remember Options here....I dragged myself to the Destin Florida Ulta store. I was on a mission.......get my Items, pay and quickly walk out. Walking in I received your typical welcome following an offer of assistance. I said my no thank you’s And went on my way. I had told myself No questions.....I set myself up on that one because a store like that they set you up for questions......So I looked for someone to help me and was immediately greeted by Kim. She carried herself as if she was the manager and definitely having a log of retail experience she must have read my body language and read it well because as soon as she answered she stepped away. Of course in the most polite & professional way. Ugh!!! More I was in there the more the questions.....thinking at this point it was to much effort maybe I should just walk out. Instead I was greeted by Madeline. She was younger than Kim I immediately thought there was no way this millennial was going to know about mature skin....I was completely wrong! Shocker....she had more knowledge than freaking Wikipedia.....next thing you know Kim approached the both Of us and instead of the two of them competing they worked together And I mean really worked together. Their ideas complimented one another. I stayed until the store closed and ended up spending double the money. The best part was for the first time I was able to enjoy Ulta and instead of sprinting out the door I strolled.No it’s a barney’s But seriously what is........So Kim and Madeline Thank you both for your wonderful service and your great attitudes you two were awesome!Anyone looking for the BEST ULTA STORE in Destin Florida and surrounding areas it’s definitely worth the trip!

Went to ulta Destin location for the first time. They have a very nice selection of products and the prices are reasonable. My issue was from the moment I walked in, not one staff member feeeted me or asked if I needed assistance. After almost 30 minutes of looking blankly at literally the same products in confusion I grabbed one and hoped it was right. The girl at the register stopped the transaction of my checkout to come over to the products to assist me. That obviously held up the checkout line, but she was literally the only one that helped me.

Pretty good selection, staff was friendly and definitely ready to assist.

The wokers here are very rude if I wear makeup and dress up and wear makeup theyll ask me how Im doing and if I need help.. if I dont have makeup on or if I dont look nice theyll ignore me and even tho I go in there often I still need help sometimes
