At the time of the visit, everything seemed great. She sounded like she cared about my health and seemed to be thorough. When I asked to do specific tests, she didnt and when the results came, she said everything was normal and I just had to lose weight. Well, I changed doctors and the new one I am going to did a much more thorough examination of my issues and did more than just tell me to lose weight. Turns out I have hashimotos disease and need to take levothyroxine. I even mentioned that my mother has hypothyroidism and she did a thyroid blood panel, but still was not able to realize this and inform me of it. I was also vitamin d deficient and she did not realize that either. My new doctor is also referring me to an endocrinologist because she is concerned about my hormones. I was told by Dr. Dorodi that everything was great and all I had to do was lose weight. Needless to say, when I went to this new doctor, I was devastated to learn of all of these problems when I expected everything to be normal. And in case you were wondering, I went to this new doctor less than a month after my visit to Dr. Dorodi, so nothing new changed. I am just writing this because I pray that this same does not happen to anyone else who may have a more serious issue. Good luck, and please do better.

Dr. Dorodi is a great physician. She is dedicated and knowledgeable, while making you feel like youre her only patient. Her staff has the same dedication and caring souls as she does. Its just a great atmosphere to be around in your time of need.
