I absolutely love my new Prodesign glasses! I want to thank Mary (south office) and Lynn (Pleasant Hill) for their patience and help trying to find a petite frame that works for me. This is the only doctor’s office where I can find petite frames and I hope you keep them available. I highly recommended the doctors and staff at Eye Care of Iowa.

Im only there twice/year but every time for the past 3 years Ive never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The product is excellent too. Quality lenses and a big selection of quality frames.

Would not recommend. Made an appointment 2 months ago for my daughter - which her glasses are broke and they called me telling me the doctor is out the day of her scheduled appointment and wanted to push her appointment out another 2 weeks. I told them that wasnt an option because her glasses were broke and she needed glasses. Doug in return said I just wanted things my way and there wasnt any other options for my daughter.What horrible customer service and then obviously I was upset and throwing it my face. Save your time, give your business to a better place that actually cares about customers who need glasses.

I appreciate your help.---------------------------------So bummed. I kept my kids out of school for their appointment this morning. Eye Care of Iowa called to tell me their computer systems were down and had to cancel their appointments. I asked if we could still get a doctors note saying what happened so my kids wouldnt have unexcused absences at school for the morning. They wouldnt do that. I wasnt asking them to lie and say my kids had gotten their eyes checked, I just needed a note saying they were out of school because they had an eye exam planned. SOMETHING to show they werent late just because they slept in. I just needed a little help from you guys. Our entire family - within our household and extended family - will stop going here.

I have used the Pleasant Hill location for around 8 years with great service from all area, including the receptionist, insurance verification, thorough exams, and assistance with picking out my glasses. Last year my insurance changed and that location did not accept my insurance. However, the Army Post Rd branch did accept my insurance and I was able to see the same Dr and they had access to all my history. Last year I took my 3 kids and they were very good with meeting the needs of their various ages.

Received a bill the first of May for the last two years. Really! Because of your lack of personnel, I owe $196.00. When on a fixed income, this is a hardship. I should not be penalized because you dont have sufficient staffing. I give you credit for the nice employees that I have encountered during my visits.

Super helpful and courteous staff. The did a great job helping me get the most benefit out of my insurance, and explaining the exam process every step of the way. The only criticism I could offer is that they dont grind lenses in house, so they have to be sent away for. A week isnt actually all that long of a time, and you could always take your prescription somewhere local if youre so inclined.

Dr. Lee at Eye Care of Iowa is great! He once saw something that was a little suspect when looking at my dilated eyes and referred me to a retina specialist who indeed saw something that needed attention right away. Because Dr. Lee cared enough to look at my eyes thoroughly, the small tears in my retinas were fixed via laser surgery before my retinas became completely detached. I have since moved away from the south side but I continue to go back for my eye appointments. And the rest of the staff at this location is great too!! In and out with very little wait time. I appreciate a place that knows my time is valuable.

The doctor did a fantastic job. I had to bring my children with me and he did not get frustrated once that they were in the room with me. Very professional. The cost of my contacts were explained thoroughly and was affordable. Only thing I would say was a bit off setting is that the only people to smile was the doctor and receptionist

Best eye place I have ever been to! The staff were very friendly and patient. They answered all my questions. They took the time to explain what was going on with my eyes in a way that I could understand. I highly recommend them :)

I love this office. The staff is all friendly and very Knowledgeable. They have a great selection of frames in the office. My provider is the best, seeing me on a Sunday when I had an eye injury.

I have had several great experiences with this clinic. The front desk staff, Office Manager, Doug, and Dr. Blasco are all fantastic! I live in West Des Moines but continue to travel to this site because theyve been so accommodating. 5/5 stars!

Calls me day of Apt after waiting 3 weeks to get my eyes checked to tell me they no longer take my insurance. Time of initial call they took my insurance information and never mentioned they didn’t accept my insurance. Making patients wait 3 weeks for information that should have been revealed from the start is bogus. Thanks for waisting my time.

I love the place. They were very friendly to me except for one person they had in the front selling glasses . She lied to me and tired to get me to buy expensive glasses. Told me my frames could not be fixed and one of the other said they could. She was gone the last time I was there. Yea. Other then that I love the place even my cute DR.

I brought my boys to this location for their routine eye exams. The staff was very friendly and a real joy to be around. They treated us very well and I highly recommend Dr. Nick Blasco for all your eye care needs.

Dr. Jansma is great. Very down to earth yet extremely knowledgeable. Trust her with my eyes as well as my 3-year old son. Front office staff is top-notch! Great glasses selection. Highly recommend their southside clinic!

Quick and courteous, the eye doctor was awesome and listened to my concerns. Ive been going here for a few years and will continue to do so. They have a nice selection of glasses to choose from.

Ive been going for about 3 years now and never had a complaint. I do commend Dr Blasco (the son) for seeing something that a few eye docs havent seen which I know I had to of had the problem before because its associated with my weight. He was very concerned at what he saw and recommended me to a Retina specialist. I am so grateful that he looked deeper into the problem I had been having with my eyes.

I have been seeing Dr Nesheim at the Army Post Road location for over ten years. I have always been completely satisfied. All of the staff is friendly and courteous. Dr Nesheim always has time for any questions I might have. I would recommend this office to anyone in need of quality eye care.

I have been a client of Eye Care of Iowa for several years. My insurance changed and Diane worked very hard to find a way for me to continue seeing Dr Lee. It took a lot on her part, but she was able to get it done. I would highly recoomend this group!

Eyecare of iowa south did a excellent job with me answered all questions and concerns i had with my eyes since i do work in a call center and on the computer 40 hrs a week the doctor i had dr ward was excellent addressed my issues i got what i needed now my eyes are so much better the wait wasnt long soon as i walked in they got you in and out of there definitely will come back if i have anymore questions or get another set of glasses the price and copay was affordable thank you eyecare of iowa dr ward and doug!! :)
