Great
I have seen many lives transformed.Great place to get healing and sobriety. However I have noticed many maga hats. When did politics get to be pushed into meetings?. I always thought the original founders frowned upon that.something to think about.keep politics out of meetings.
The building shown is not the DFC - it is actually the building to the left of it. Also, they do not perform any alcoholism treatment. The Center rents meeting space to entities that serve the community, mostly regarding addiction recovery. Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Heroin Anonymous groups meet there, as well as a church group on Sunday evenings. The Center sponsors multiple fundraisers each year to benefit the recovery center and keep its doors open to people seeking recovery and a safe place to spend time with others who choose abstinence from mind-altering substances. It has a rich history in Derry over three decades and is a welcome neighbor.
