Enjoyed Felecia for the first time - WOW! She is so thorough and proactive. When Dr. Nichols came in for his review, Felecia had 4-5 points that she brought up that she wanted him to check out. She is interesting, friendly, skilled and positive and upbeat. A pure delight on a Monday morning dentist visit. I enthusiastically recommend her!

I hardly knew I was at the dentist. Dawn was so fun to talk with and very clear about any issues she saw in my mouth but did it in a way that was interesting and informative and not judgmental. She was efficient and professional. Funny that I had never met her in all the years she has worked there and the years I have been a patient of the dentistry.

I enjoyed my visit with Felicia and appreciated her efforts at managing the discomfort of placing the X-ray in my mouth so many times. We discussed how one day technology will advance to make this an easier task. Can’t wait!!

Lydia was perfect in every way. She made sure I was comfortable and then proceeded to take the necessary X-rays and then cleaned my teeth. Dr Kyle checked my teeth and immediately noticed a small cavity and made an appointment to take care of it. I believe he is an excellent addition to the practice.

My visit was excellent from the time I checked in until leaving. Front desk was friendly and efficient. Kathy my hygienist is wonderful. Her skills and knowledge are outstanding. Dr. Butterfield was did an excellent job and made me feel at ease.

I was very anxious about going to my first appointment with the dentist. 😩I am in need of dentures, however I have a extreme complex medical history. I have been seen by two oral surgeons in the past. Both would not remove my teeth due to my medical issues.I met Dr. Hersey earlier this week. He truly is a God send!!He too said I need to see an oral surgeon.I cried. Thinking here I go again.Dr. Hersey was not going to leave it at that.He reassured me I was now under HIS care❤️He reached out to oral surgeon colleagues to figure out how I could have my teeth removed safety.Dr. Hersey called me the very next morning to tell me an oral surgeon with experience with complex people like me is willing to work with me!!☺️I may need to be admitted to the hospital but Dr. Hersey is so compassionate, understanding, and just amazing!!❤️❤️Im so looking forward to having my smile again 😊I have shared pictures of my BEFORE smile and my beautiful AFTER smile!!I feel forever grateful to Dr. Hersey and his staff who continue to take great care of me!!♥️♥️😊

Since 2008 doctor D Hersey has been our family dentist for me and my wife. I have found him and the staff to be a great group dentistry professionals. So much so that now that I have retired and moved almost 200 miles north I continue to drive down for all my cleaning and dentistry services. I’ve been a patient here for over 25 years, and I will continue for another 25 as they are organized, easy to make appointments, give great reminders of appointments by text and email, and always treat everyone with respect. Going to the dentist is not fun for many people, and as someone who has had multiple fillings, crowns and other not so fun stuff, I have to say, it’s easily bearable here - you are told how long it should take, how much further when you are in the midst of it, and encouragement when it’s a bit uncomfortable. Highly recommend!

Ive been a patient of Ahern & Nichols Family Dentistry for over thirty years and have only good things to say about this dental practice. The entire staff here is friendly, caring, competent and professional--from the people who answer the phones to the dentists, themselves. The office, itself, is modern, well-equipped and always clean. I really can not think of one instance over the last 30+ years when I was less than 100% satisfied with the care that my family and I received here. (And I do not easily bestow such praise!) In short, one would be well-served to call Ahern & Nichols their familys dentist.

Had my appointment for a cleaning and exam. The level of infection prevention was remarkable. I work in a general hospital so I know a good amount of what works and how you do it regarding contamination mitigation. Oh and Felicia The Hygienist is a complete doll as always and a total professional. Dr. Butterfield is so thorough and so detailed as he always is yet he does it with a smile and extreme courtesy.

I have been a patient at ANHB for 20+ years. The hygienists and doctors have always been excellent in cleaning my teeth and keeping them healthy. My last appointment was during the height of COVID-19 and the people in the office were great while walking me through the extensive COVID regulations/protocols. I highly recommend the practice if you are looking for a dental practice.

Covid 19 Pandemic, going to the dentist was a little worrisome for me. However, the phone call a week prior to my appointment put me at ease. While at the dentists office, I was very impressed with the precautions they took to make me feel safe. My hygienist whom I have been with for many years was reassuring about the measures that have been taken to keep the patients safe. The dentists are all respectful and diligent in their care of me. I was in for a cleaning and Kathy was fabulous. In fact I booked my next cleaning with her. I personally like to see the same person so they get to know me and I in turn feel comfortable with them.

Our appointment on May 21st went very smoothly. The office workers or Front Desk personnel were very personable and completely professional. They explained the new policy during the Covid 19 time.We have been coming to this office since 1987. We have seen the progression the office has been through since that time.The Hygienist are very professional doing their job completely with compassion and caring. I recommend this office to all.

Ive been a patient of ANH&B for many years after having negative experiences elsewhere. They are the most professional and provide the highest quality of service- from all the staff. They have a high standard of cleanliness overall as well as additional precautions between patients. They also provide the right care, not pushing people for additional (sometimes unnecessary) , costly services . They care about their patients, and it shows.

My regular hygenist who is simply the best was on vacation yesterday so I was a touch anxious to see anyone else....but was so grateful for my experience today! Dr. Prohovich was just outstanding! Not only was he able to see me way earlier than my appt. time, he and Vanessa(?) told me everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way!! They were quick, thorough, professional, and got me out and back to my office in record time!

This is no other dentist office I would trust with my dentistry needs. Their staff is very friendly and professional and make me feel at ease as I didnt have a good experience with my previous dentist. They have also have taken every precaution ensuring safety due to Covid-19.

I was overdue for my cleaning due to Covid, but even with the precautions that have to be put in place, the practice is still exceptional. I know sometimes there are delays due to the extra disinfecting that needs to be done (my daughter is a hygenist so I know) but the staff helps each other out. My hygenist, Lily, was a sweetheart. Very polite, knowledgeable and gentle with her cleaning technique. John P saw me and we addressed a small issue I was having which he was very knowledgeable and caring about. Ive been with the practice over 30 years and am very happy there.

I work in a local hospital and have been, like each and every one of us, affected in innumerable ways by COVID-19. So, in arriving for my bi-annual teeth check-up/cleaning, I was comforted immediately to see all of the staff, and most commendably, my dental hygienist and dentist, implementing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), along with all COVID-19 infection control procedures that I am very well versed in. Cudos and bravo for helping us all safely get back to taking care of our own health and well-being!

Just like many, I have high anxieties when going to the dentist. When I moved in the area, I was hesitant with who I went with. After my first visit here, I knew I was with the right people. My cleaning sessions are always handled carefully, meticulously, and every attempt is made to make them as painless as possible. My hygienist, Cheryl, is very thorough, personable and knowledgeable. She constantly checks to see how Im doing, remembers my previous visit outcomes, and also checks to see if my dentist or periodontist is available to check in on me. I trust my dental care to them because they are honest, qualified and competent in what they do, and I am benefitting from excellent dental care. Even the receptionists and processing clerks are wonderful, personable and make you feel at ease. I would recommend them to anyone.

As would be indicated by my continued visits to the Family Dentistry since 1988, the service provided is intensely personal, professional, effective and efficient. My latest visit was for a dental hygiene procedure with my regular hygienist, Lydia; supervised by Dr Sean Ahern. As usual, I was reminded 2 days beforehand that both myself and my wife, Ann, had simultaneous appointments that day (Yes, they can do that!). We were met in the usual courteous manner and advised to whom we were assigned (as I said, my seemingly solely-dedicated Lydia who once cancelled a day off knowing I was coming in!). As usual, Lydias services were professionally provided, along with a significant amount of friendly banter with respect to our families -- and, in some cases, political issues. For those of you familiar with the teeth cleaning process, you can understand why I was somewhat restricted in my half of the conversation! After the cleaning, new X-Rays were taken and Dr. Sean came in for his semi-annual inspection, looking for any signs of dental disease, etc. Happily, there were none and I was cleared for another 6 months. As usual, it was great talking with Dr. Sean since he has been my dentist since my first visit and he is sincerely dedicated to his patients. Describing Dr. Sean as outgoing, professional and always multitasking barely describes this gregarious whirlwind of action -- and you can see without a doubt that he did not build his highly successful enterprise by being a wallflower! I have been going to Ahern Nichols Ahern Hershey & Butterfield since there name was much shorter. It has been at least 20 years. My dentist John Patrick Ahern has always been honest, fair, and extremely professional (by the way hes a great dentist too) but so has everyone else. This is truly a family practice where everyone strives to help you with whatever you need. They have the latest most up to date equipment. They are warm and friendly. Its just a great place to go to the dentist from the office staff, to the hygienist to the best dentist anywhere. They do it all and do it well. I would not dream of going anywhere else, I trust them completely.

As usual I had a thorough and relaxed cleaning and checkup. The receptionist, hygienist, and the dentist were all courteous, professional, relaxed, and thorough. This has been the kind of service I have received here for 25 years. They always go out of their way to give a great service, answer all questions, make sure I am pain free, and insure Im set up for my next appointment.

At first everything was going great. The people are nice. I went in to have a root canal done, they finished and was sent on my way. Only two months later my root canal has literally fallen into pieces in my mouth, all while I was just chewing gum. After spending around a thousand dollars on it, you would think it would at least last a year or even six months. I dont think ill be bringing them any business anytime soon.

Dr. Butterfield had to fill in a space that was starting to decay. It was one of my eye teeth. He did such an amazing job! My smile feels great again!! Thank you Dr. Butterfield!Thank you again, Wendy.

I came in for a regular teeth cleaning and checkup. The hygienist that saw me this time was the same as the other two that Ive had...great. Ive not had anything less than exceptional attitude and professionalism from any of the associates at this office.

Delt with Sue on the phone. She was more than happy to hang up with me without making any effort to accommodate me or answer my questions. She stated I needed X-rays and i couldnt get a cleaning, I replied that I had X-rays already done that I could transfer over. Silence. She made no effort to book me or help me. Disgusted with the awful service I simply stated that I guess I would have to just stick with my dentist as I needed a cleaning and didnt want to pay for an appointment that was purposeless and that I did need a cleaning. I even called back stating that i was disappointed with the lack of service to get this womans name as my review is a complete reflection on her and not the actual dentist. But the first point of contact was awful I wasnt willing to take my business past that.Service like this is why people dread dealing with these offices. Maybe Ill get someone on the phone at the next place I call willing to give the professional service the website advertises.Good luck to anyone dealing with Sue on the phone.

Yesterday I went in for my preventative care. I had missed a few years and was anxious about it. My dental hygienest Marie was very kind as well as so thorough even though I knew she was a bit behind. Also I get anxious occasionally and Marie and Dr. Hersey were both awesome as they were when I had other dental work. Finally, the office is so thorough with oral cancer screenings and even checking blood pressure. They also had me wear safety goggles during my cleaning. I honestly cant say enough positive.

Great practice with great people. Hygienist April is personable, knowledgable and professional. Hers and everyones sense of humor makes going to the dentist as enjoyable as it can be :-)
