The staff here is amazing! The front desk, hygienist and dentist are always kind, welcoming and compassionate. Theyre been great with me and my irrational dentist fears and are always fantastic with each of my kids. Its immaculate and I feel great having them as our family dentists!

Although they were easy to work with and very efficient, I would recommend them mostly for listening to me say my teeth are tightly jammed together, please floss carefully.Ive had several dentists at cleaning who were like haha yeah sure and your gums are bleeding, you must not floss enough meanwhile its because they ignored me and used the wrong type of floss and had to force it until they cut into my gums. The lady here (Jen, who was an absolute delight) immediately said oh sure! We have a type just for this and true to her word she used the right kind of ribbon style and was super gentle. She took my request seriously and changed my opinion of dentists within a 40 minute visit.TL;DR Lovely dentists didnt cut my gums and were super speedy. Highly recommend.

The entire staff were warm and very kind. The Drs went above and beyond to help keep you calm and to lessen your fears. The dental staff are absolutely wonderful. They honestly care about your whole wellbeing.

I called Gental Dental with a dental emergency for my daughter and they where able to see her right away. The office staff was very professional and put my daughter at ease. We will be using them as our new family dentist .

New Denture work via Gentle Dental Derry, NH…compliments of Dr Patel & Dr Colon and their Teams. Teeth are pulled and going thru adjustments for Denture uppers and implant lowers…Not the most comfy of procedures…but then I should have paid more attention to my Teeth as a Youth & Adult…Dr Patel & Dr Colon are totally professional with an excellent relationship with their patients….making my ordeal easy to deal with…Highly recommend this office for your Dental needs…⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Im going to start off with saying i was deathly afraid of the dentist. Im 36 and had not been since I was 14 due to an absolutely horrible experience. I had been in excruciating pain for about a week and finally caved to going to the dreaded dentist. I called numerous places and got everything from not taking new patients to having to wait a week plus. The emergency dentist wanted $600 to pull one tooth. I had almost given up and decided to try a couple more. I called gentle dental and the receptionist was very kind and put me on a short hold and returned to say can you be here at 1pm it was already 10am I quickly replied yes I can. When I arrived they only left me in the waiting room a couple minutes. I unfortunately dont remember either the dentist or assistant ( I was very scared) but they were both amazing and explained everything very well. They were understanding when I stated I couldnt afford the root canal and just wanted to get out of pain as cheap as possible. He was very gentle in my mouth and I was pleasantly surprised that what I thought was going to be awful was not nearly as bad as I expected. I honestly went there with the plan to get the teeth bugging me out and hopefully not return for a while. It was such a pleasant experience I have another appointment already booked for a cleaning and x-rays to make a plan for the rest that need to be fixed. Im so glad I found them.

I do not typically write reviews, but I feel the need to give credit where credit is due! I have EXTREME anxiety over the dentist or any type of Novocain. I needed a few teeth pulled but my anxiety took over and I never had it done. I was told by my past dentist i needed to be put to sleep and see an oral surgeon to get these teeth out. I visited Dr Patel at Gentle Dental and he took these teeth out within 10 mins tops (and that was after my panic attacks LOL) Him and his assistant (whose name i unfortunately forget) but she was a young and very helpful girl. I would recommend them both 10/10 every time!! They are great if you suffer extreme anxiety, they make it comfortable and have a great deal of patience to deal with you!! I have received great assistance from the front desk ladies as well, both times I have gone in there! 10 stars from me!!

Never again, called about a sore tooth, they got me right in the next morning (Wednesday) took a x-ray and said the tooth was cracked and needed to be extracted, and either replaced with an implant, or bone graft. I advised them I needed a day to decide which solution I wanted to do. Next morning I woke up in extreme pain, called and said ok its killing me now, lets do the extraction and implant, they told me their next appointment with their periodontist (who is only there once or twice a month) is 2+ weeks away?!?!? called Vanguard Dental also in Derry, they got me in the very next day, pulled the cracked tooth and I was headed home in 45 minutes.

I went there to get my filling done and they were awesome. Upon entering they checked my temp due to COVID which is good. Didn’t have to wait long as they took me right away. JP took my X-rays and she was great and professional. Than Bhavya Patel and JP worked together to get my filling done. They did a really good job and it was fast. Everyone there was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this dentistry.

Id like to take a moment to commend the impressionable professionalism & topnotch patient care by Gentle Dental staff.My procedure is known as an uncomfortable one, with three fillings put in immediately after a cleaning, and in between Lisa, Michelle, unfortunately I did not get the receptionists name who was very proactive about my insurance, and at the center of it all, Dr. Patel all made me feel as comfortable as possible given my requested needs and checked in with me every step of the way.I walked away with the pearliest whites AND cleanest gum line I have seen in me in years (and thats with daily brushing & flossing), and because I have had such a positive experience at this gem of a location, I am now ready to visit every 6 months for cleanings as I should.I say this last piece because I know for a fact there are folks who havent had a cleaning in years for fears stemming from self image issues (Im right there with you: my gums bleed everytime I floss daily; came to find out from Gentle Dental staff that I am using incomplete technique) and from the slight discomfort of a cleaning. I am here to attest: with the full x-ray workup that Gentle Dental does with a cleaning for new patients and with the extreme care that their staff takes, its alright. For those of y⁷ou with dental insurance but havent visited a dentist in years due to your apprehension about a cleaning, I am here to declare, give Gentle Dental a chance to melt your unfounded fears away.Thank you for taking the time to read my positive recommendation of this place.

The BEST dental office I have ever had! Dr. Patel, Michelle the hygienist, Emily, all the assistants and staff are happy, kind and helpful. They create such a transparent dental plan so there is no guessing costs or work to be done, and it is clearly discussed so costs and timing are managed for you as the patient. You are not rushed through as irrelevant, and the passion each individual has for their job shows. I couldnt ask for better care and Im older, I have seen plenty of dentists, this office is by far the best. I would recommend them to anyone from a cleaning to major work (which I have had) with absolute confidence.

Dr. Patel is a thoughtful and careful dentist that is upfront with your dental needs. He works with you to create a plan to meet those needs. Dr. Patel and all his staff are wonderful! They make you feel so at ease and are so friendly! I went in as new patient and was extremely nervous. Right from start I was put at ease by friendly office staff and Dr Patel!

I needed a tooth pulled and I could not find a dentist to help me quickly. My own dentist didn’t even care I was in so much pain. I called Gentle Dental in Derry and they had me in next morning without playing all the games of exams and xrays and blah blah. He looked at the X-ray. My tooth very obviously needed to come out since I can’t afford root canal. And he made 100% certain I was numb that took the longest because I had slight infection. But he had the tooth out in like 20 seconds! Everyone there is so nice and honest. If you don’t have insurance they tell you how much it will be before they start. It was $313 for me which is $200-$400 cheaper than the other dentists I called. I recommend them!

I had all my teeth removed at this office .I was terrified .the place made it relaxing an a great experience. Everyone was fun an kept it calming .the dentist has a great personality an is a person u can talk to about your fears .he totally understood an was so informative. I basic as lily had no pain during my procedure an afterwards minimal pain .I recommend gentle dental in derry to anyone with concerns an a fears .my girl friend even started using him .I tell everyone .A+ .thanks to all that were part of my experience.Steve

Let me start off by saying, I used to HATE the dentist! However here doesnt even feel like a Denist office more like a second family! So friendly, gental, theu listen, convient hours, ready for you, so no long waits, never over charge, very clean, and very patient. I came from Aspen dental and to be honest, I would rather have a 14 yr old touch my teeth then ever go back to that place again. Amazing front office staff, hygienist and dentist. I have been to this location since they opened and have had a great experience with everyone I have interacted with. Entire staff is very good at taking COVID precaution. The staff is very patient and Dr.patel takes time in explaining what needs to be done and provides valuable advice. My 4 year old is also a patient there and the entire team is so patient with her.

This was my first visit at the Derry office and I was very impressed. The office is very clean, the staff are all very nice and made me feel at ease. The Hygienist, Michelle, gave me a very thorough gentle cleaning and Dr. Patel answered all of my questions. I will definately recommend this office to anyone!

I had a broken tooth with an exposed nerve and was in agony! Every other place I called could t get me in for at least 3 days. I called Gentle Dental at 8:45am, was in the office at 9:30am, and the tooth was extracted by 10:15am. Very kind, knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be going back for any future dental need! They saved me that day!

5 stars isnt enough. I had severe pain in one of my teeth and I also have major anxiety about going to the dentist. The entire staff is wonderful- they listened very carefully to what I had to say and did everything to make the visit as easy as possible. Even the X-rays were a breeze, which I have trouble with sometimes due to my sensitive gag reflex. Dr. Patel removed my sore tooth with such skill and grace in a remarkably short period of time. I couldnt believe how quick the procedure was, and there was no pain at all.(Took me same day on a Saturday afternoon, I might add)If you have anxiety about dental work, or are just looking for a great place to have your teeth cared for, go with Gentle Dental. I wont go anywhere else from now on. Best experience and results I could have asked for.

I hate dentist. Ive had very very horrible experiences with dentists to the point where i hadnt gone in years. But my wisdom teeth were really bothering me. My top two were both broken and they needed to go. So i called them. Got in for a consult and as a new patients.Before my surgery i had two session of deep cleaning with Michelle. She was amazing and kept me calm through out both sessions.Then the day of my top wisdom teeth getting pulled came with Dr. Patel. I was very nervous and very anxious. A friend had gone with me to help me. After two shots of novocaine due to my metabolism both of them were out and was on my way home.I couldnt ask for a better experience.

Best experience at the dentists I have ever had. They were able to explain and show me pictures of the issue I had with my teeth. This made it much easier to understand some of the situations that needed to be addressed. They also took their time when it came to cleaning my teeth, unlike some places that try to rush people through the process. Easily 5/5 stars.

I had a dental emergency (during a global pandemic) and, thankfully, the staff were incredibly responsive and caring. Dr. Bhavya Patel and the whole staff are welcoming and made me feel calm, despite my anxiety of having to visit a new dentist when mine had declined to see me. Plus, my tooth feels great now! I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Patel is the best dentist Ive had in the past 5 years. He is efficient and easy to chat with. I had 6 surfaces filled with him, and after 1 adjustment to smooth out the fillings, there has been no pain. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend them at all! I’m need to the area and needed a dentist so I thought Gentle Dental sounded like a good idea for my sensitive teeth. The first visit they cleaned my teeth and the water pick felt like they were painstakingly running a razor along each and every gum line. My teeth were sore after the cleaning for two days! We also decided I needed my wisdom teeth removed, so they sent me to the Manchester office to remove them. They said they’d do it with only novicane and I should be fine to drive myself home afterwards. That was bad advice. They removed the wisdom teeth and in the middle of the procedure the dentist and the assistant both exclaimed, “wow!” while looking into my mouth, and nothing more. So unprofessional! Later they did tell me it was because my tooth had wrapped itself around my nerve in my jaw. They finished the extractions, stuffed gauze in my mouth and handed me an instruction sheet saying, “ you’re good to go,” and left me there. No moment to collect myself, no instructions on post op care, no offering of pain releif. By the time I drove myself home, I was ready to collapse in pain. You’d think a company who has named themselves gentle, would actually consider treating their patients, I don’t know, GENTLY???

I slipped on ice and chipped a tooth - Gentle Dental Derry fit me in the next day and fixed it up before the holidays! Dr Patel and Nicki were friendly, kind, and the repair was completely painless. The office is high-tech, wildly clean, and the staff is all around welcoming. Highly recommended!

My family and I used to visit Gentle Dental in Methuen but we noticed one was being moved into Derry. We had always had friendly service from this company but when we arrived at this establishment we felt like family. They were patient, kind and empathetic. They worked with both my children and I. We are very glad we go here for our dentistry as they are ethically responsible, full of integrity and down to earth. Julie and Dr Patel are especially kind.

EXCELLENT service and care! I had a broken tooth during the Covid-19 pandemic and my own dentist was giving me the run around to make an emergency appt. After 3 weeks of phone tag and talking to multiple people, I finally called Gentle Dental on a Friday and was seen first thing Monday morning after only a brief conversation. I had a quick and relatively painless extraction the following morning and the actual dentist called to check in on me in the afternoon. They were excellent explaining everything and all procedures, costs, etc were very up front and affordable. Wonderful, friendly and efficient. I will be establishing with my local office once life gets back to normal. Very pleased and grateful for their help!

Had a tooth extraction today and I LOVE this place!!! They have late evening appointments which is super helpful! Dr Patel is soooo nice!!! And the assistant (sorry I dont remember her name) was super helpful and knowledgeable. I had my 5 year old with me and they were so sweet to her to!! The procedure was quick and I didnt feel a thing!!! The entire staff was was so kind from start to finish. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a dentist

I called Gentle Dental on Saturday morning after I had a filling break on a Friday night and my regular dentist was closed. I was especially concerned because I am 28 weeks pregnant and apprehensive about having a procedure that far along.When I called, Julie was incredibly helpful and compassionate on the phone. She spoke to the doctor about my situation and was able to schedule an appointment for me that afternoon. I was thrilled. When I went in, she was just as lovely in person and walked me through all of the paperwork while contacting my insurance etc.When I went into the room for the actual appointment everyone I met was wonderful and very helpful. The hygienists and dental assistants were all professional, friendly, and helpful.Dr. Patel was amazing. He is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. Not only was he personable, easy to talk with, and very reassuring but he also was very diligent about taking precautions to make sure nothing we did would have adverse effects due to my pregnancy. He clearly communicated all of my options and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision about my care. I never felt pressured to make a particular choice or like I didnt have a voice in my own treatment plan.During the actual procedure, Dr. Patel was part artist and part scientist. The equipment he used made the procedure incredibly easy (for me!) and I could tell how skilled he was as he shaped my refilled tooth. By the time he was done it looked and felt like nothing has ever happened to that tooth. I cannot tell you how relieved I was.When I walked into my appointment I had every intention of returning to my previous dentist for my continued dental care but after my experience I cant imagine going anywhere else going forward.If youre on the fence about calling please do. This was by far the best dental experience Ive had and I look forward to continuing my familys care at Gentle Dental in the future.
