My wife had a horrible experience at this quest location. She told me the woman drawing her blood was unbelievably rude and disgusting. She assumed the insurance was Medicare because she kept her maiden name (we have BCBS) and she assumed she was a single mother. She then couldn’t get the vein in my sons arm, and started to access my wife of not giving him enough fluids before the appointment. I can only assume that for those who do have state insurance the attitude they would receive from this woman. Abhorrent behavior. We will NEVER use this Quest again.

Ive been to this location countless times and its always nice seeing the same familiar faces, it means that they are happy working there. From sign in, I never have to wait long and the techs drawing blood are quick, efficient, courteous and caring. The only negative that happened to me yesterday was when I popped my head back into the blood drawing room to get another piece of gauze the tech that turned around wasnt wearing a mask and proceeded to give me a piece of gauze with her bare hands after she was bare hand handling something else.***note Ive only been here in the morning/lunch hour and never interacted with the afternoon staff except this one time with the gauze.

The waiting area seemed clean enough. There was a sign in the waiting room stating that only 5 people are allowed at a time. I had an appointment and after I signed in my wait was only 2 minutes. The phlebotomist was kind and friendly. I was in and out relatively quickly.

Terrible service. Terrible bedside manner. I should be able to expect better from medical professionals. After opting to wait in the car because the waiting room was already past the indicated capacity and no staff enforced this. (Room cap indicated 5, there were at least 12 people in the room) the TV indicated I had 17 minutes to wait, and so after 25 minutes of waiting I headed into the room, and saw that I had 5 more minutes. During that time, a nurse with 2 drop offs as well as 2 walk in appointments were pushed in front of me for my wait time. I caught a nurse behind the glass and tried to ask her what was going on and tell her what happened. I told her i had been waiting and due to medical reasons my father drove me (hes in his 70s) and was waiting out in the car. She informed me she didnt know why it was happening, that it would only be a few more minutes- then a few minutes later, she called back the man who had walked in just moments before.I waited over 45 minutes before leaving.

This was one of the best Quest Locations Ive ever been to. I went Saturday around 11AM and I was in and out in 15 minutes as a walk in. They have a touch screen sign in kiosk and a TV that shows the people in front of you and the approximate wait time. Highly recommended. The staff was nice as well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐My go to for my childrens, dads, and my blood work, most definetly. Always a friendly staff. They work very well with my dad whos blood is hard to get, he never complains. I visit this Quest a minimum of ten times a year, and never have to wait more than 15 min. My average wait time is 8 min. A blood draw should only be a slight pinch, and thats all youll feel here! 😀 Be hydrated with plenty of water before you go!

Omg I have a 16 month old and he fell asleep in two minutes it took me to get to this location. The ladies there made my experience the best they helped every step of the way. My baby is very strong and keeping him still was difficult and these professionals relaxed me and my child I always choose them because they are the best thank you so much keep up the great job. The new sign in is great and service was speedy.

Went there with no appointment, checked in with kiosk and within 15 minutes was greeted by friendly woman Marion, who also took my blood- a real pro- barely felt it, did it right the first time. She made it a great experience. The world needs more Marions! Thank you.

Honestly just go to the Quest in Shelton with an appointment. Rude, much longer wait time than indicated, unprofessional and not taking the right COVID procedures (sign said 5 patient capacity for waiting room, but there were at least 15 people). Check-in person was okay but the rest of the staff seemed snarky and disorganized.

This was the 2nd time Ive been at this office. The building reminds me of a 70s medical building. The office itself has been updated, there was a sign in at desk (ipad), once you sign in you can look up on the TV and see where you are in the order. Also tells you about how much longer and if you are walk-in or appointment. Quest rep took my sons labs, she was excellent. Hes tough to get a vein, she felt for a moment and slide the needle in smooth no pinch, no digging; he had no idea she was already drawing. Wait was not as long as estimate wait time on TV. Good visit.

This locations always takes forever. You’ll go for extended periods of time with no one getting called in. Don’t know if it’s because theyre understaffed or what. I’ve gone from being the only one in the waiting room to a full waiting room with barely anyone being seen.

I usually like coming here but my visit today with a tech was a little bothersome, the tech drew my blood painless and fast but another client came out of the bathroom handed her the unused owe container and said I cant go, she grabs the cup while holding the bandaid and cotton swab and sits the pre cup thats just been in the bathroom with the guy on the counter places my now contaminated bandaid on which I quickly removed I just had thyroid surgery and didnt have enough breath to even talk about that to her, but damn she works in a lab u ever hear about cross contamination, Im not going back.

I usually love this place but lately I have been unhappy! They only did half of my bloodwork and then I had to go back and get more done! The second time I went the lady who drew my blood was very very rude she started to get defensive about how half of my bloodwork was done. When she didn’t even draw my blood the first time. And then she started blaming my doctor for “writing too small”.

Ive been using this quest for about four years now and I have never had an issue. The staff is always great. I had a very lengthy 3 hour test that I needed to take and arrived at quest about 10mins after it opened and unfortuantely when I arrive there was a new tech there who did nothing to ensure my process was smooth even after asking several times. So a 3 hour test ultimately turned ito 4.5 hours. Four stars given because overall this place is okay, but new staff need to be trained on customer service and when to make judgement calls. New tech name was given to me as Baba.

This is the Quest site closest to home, but I dread going there because of this unbelievably obnoxious check-in person. Rude, arrogant, presumptuous - I find it difficult to find non-four-letter words. The last time I went here I was told that there was no test order for me in the system and I would have to call my Doctor. Only after being insistent and rude right back at her did she find the requisition in the fax machine - dated the day before. Really on the ball, and somehow it was my fault. Go to the Shelton office instead.

Awful. My husband arrived, having made an appointment, and still had to wait 30 minutes. On top of that, They only ran HALF of the requested tests. He had to go back and have more blood drawn because of lack of competence in Quests Derby office.
