Im 3 weeks out from surgery with Dr. Nagamani and, so far, all is going according to plan. He is a caring physician who takes time to explain whats happening and whats ahead. The office is busy but efficient - medical assistants, x-ray, scheduling, and front-office staff area great.

I was walking out of the office 25 min after arrival to the front desk, and I had X-rays and a full conversation with the dr in that time where I didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. Dr White is brilliant, to realize that a torn labrum really shouldnt just be repaired, just like a stretched out/torn rubber band cant/shouldnt, and to develop the technique to reconstruct it using cadaver tendon is amazing. Had major pain in my knee. Dr. Parks gave me options after showing me what was wrong. I decided on a non-surgical solution to see if it would work. So far, it is working just fine. Feel confident that if/when surgery is necessary, he will be my choice.

After experiencing knee pain for a couple of years and being told the only solution was knee replacement, I was seen by Dr. Bazaz at Western Orthopoedics. He injected my knee several times, which eliminated the pain. Finally, after injuring the same knee somehow the injection no longer worked. Dr. Bazaz ordered an MRI where he could see a badly torn meniscus. He performed a scope surgery, cleaned up the meniscus and after three weeks, I am healing nicely and the burning pain is gone. No knee replacement needed! Dr. Bazaz has a wonderful bedside manner - hes funny, great at explaining things and he puts you at ease. The best of all is that he is an excellent doctor/surgeon and I would very highly recommend him and Western Orthopaedics!

Dr. Parks has administered gel injections in both knees for many years. When the time came to replace my knees, I had built a trust in his care and product and was not disappointed with the results. No hiccups. Now up to me to follow the pt and protocol to get optimal results. Knee #1 was in 2020 and knee #2 was 2021. I was very comfortable with Dr. Parks and his staff and knowledge in treating me in this big surgery. It took away nearly all the apprehension and anxiety one might have going in. Dr. Parks replaced both my knees, one in 2020 and the other in 2021. He did a fantastic job! My recovery has been easier than expected and my life is so much better now that I can walk and do other activities without constant knee pain. After two failed hip labrum repairs, I was really resistant to trusting another surgeon. I felt like other doctors had failed me and that this experience would be no different. Thankfully, I was wrong! I am now 10 weeks post-op and I already feel like my hip is better off. Before, I couldnt get through the work day without pain, couldnt engage in my favorite hobbies, and couldnt meet some goals that are really important to me. I felt limited and isolated. Now, I am recovering faster than I thought I would, I can come home from work with less pain already after only ten weeks, and I feel hopeful instead of defeated. Dr. White took the time to understand my case well, explained everything to me very clearly, and he listened to me instead of brushing me off. This was an extremely validating experience for me. Dr. White truly is a gem of a surgeon and I would 100% recommend him to friends or family, in fact Id even insist that they see him first! If you are feeling failed by previous healthcare providers, just know that Dr. White understands exactly where you are coming from, and he will do everything in his power to help you.

Very little wait time, wonderful MA took me to the exam room and got things started, Dr. Parks appeared with little delay, listened carefully, got an X-ray of bothersome knee, explained the problem, and covered the options. I was very pleased with the appointment.

Took my mom to see Dr. Nagamani for a foot fracture and it was AWESOME. He is clearly very experienced and has an amazing bed-side manner. He explained very clearly what the type of break was, how it happens, and what to expect with recovery. One of the better doctor/patient interactions I have had. Regarding Dr. Hatz. - shoulder replacement specialist: There is no question in my mind concerning Dr. H. and his surgical teams competence and hospital manners. I have had both shoulders replacement in the last year and am very pleased with the results and recovery. I am definitely ahead of schedule for a 70+ person. I attribute this to their deft capabilities. What I would like to comment about, in addition, are the pre-op and post-op office visits. The comportment of their office people is superb. They span the spectrum from professional to personable to caring to fun (for a surgical office, that is). I also want to comment on my joke that cracked Dr. H. up the 3 times I have told it to him (really, 3 times and the second and third time he really did not remember the previous deliveries) and the 1 time I told it to the staff. I told him after my first surgery which was a reverse shoulder replacement, my 25+ year old son called and asked me how I was and what they had done. I told him I have a reverse shoulder replacement. He wanted that explained. I explained it to him (ball replaced socket and socket replaced ball). I said it know it was a reversal and it was successful because when I went to blow my nose, I wiped my butt. Dr. H. (and his staff) totally cracked up! Thats a nice office to visit, even if my joke is a bit off color. Lovely, lovely people.

I see Dr. Holmes for my arthritic knees. Some background context: I had my first knee surgery between 8th and 9th grade, and a second between 9th and 10th grade, so this is a problem I’ve now had for the majority of my life. In other words, I’ve seen countless specialists, physical therapists, etc., over the last 20 years.Dr. Holmes is far and away the most thorough, comprehensive, thoughtful, and educational provider I have ever seen. He brings honest compassion to his care in a way I didn’t know I was missing. His emphasis on patient education is empowering — and, despite having been dealing with my knee problems for two decades — I always leave his office having gained additional insight into my condition and having learned something new.Dr. Holmes gives me his time in a way that makes me feel validated and truly heard. His honesty is direct but in the most compassionate way. He dictates his notes with you in the room, which is such a wonderful way of summarizing everything you’ve covered regarding diagnosis and prognosis and making sure you’re both on the same page. In my case, while a knee replacement is almost certainly inevitable, he is opposed to doing one any time soon (I’m too young and should wait and hope technology advances before I have anything done) and instead emphasizes the things I should be doing today for the long term health and pain management of my already arthritic joints. In other words, his emphasis is on harm reduction and avoiding overly invasive approaches to care. He has cautioned me against wasting money on treatments that aren’t supported by clinical evidence and has been very detailed in outlining the best options I have available to me now, including how my action — or inaction — will impact me long term.Overall, the staff at Western Orthopedics are highly efficient, personable, and kind. I cannot speak highly enough of this entire team, and of how confident I am that I am in great hands while under their care.

Dr. Edward (Ted) Parks is rated as one of the best orthopedic surgeons for verifiable reasons. His bedside manner is professional and friendly. He takes his time to answer any and all questions, as does his excellently trained and highly competent staff. They take pride in their service to their patients, and it shows in every aspect of the practice.I had a right knee replacement several months ago, and my progress has urged several of my family, co-workers, and friends to get much-needed orthopedic work done. I have no issues and nominal scarring. Those in the Denver area that I referred have all had exactly the same reaction to this knowledgable, kind, and gentle man and his complete team as I have had. I am on my way to get my second knee replaced in a few more months.

So far so good! I have another follow-up appointment coming up, but my initial appointment and my surgery went well. Sean Baran and the staff working alongside him went above and beyond my expectations and took the extra time necessary to accomplish what needed done. I was mostly impressed when Dr. Baran asked a fellow orthopedist for a second opinion on my situation to see if they also thought it was the same thing (they did). Dr. Parks is personable, knowledgeable and a extremely skilled surgeon. Not all surgeons remain connected to the patient during follow up visits. Ive been hearing from friends they never had post op appointments with their surgeon. Im grateful for a successful surgery, that Dr. Parks took time to check in on me at the hospital in the morning and at the end of his day and that hes tracking my progress post surgery.

WARNING! ...FRAUD!..Surprise bills long after your first and only appointment. Dr. Birney had me go and get a MRI that cost over $2000.00 then I tried to contact this office to see when Dr Birney wanted me to come back and get the results of my MRI, never heard back from the Dr or the office, was completely ignored by the Dr and the office and then months down the road get a surprise bill from them! Be careful when doing business with this clinic, would definitely not recommend!Update 7/17/21: There still coming after me!, getting more threat letters demanding more money or they will have there collection agencies come after me! Reporting them to Department of Regulatory Agencies again!

Very pleased with Dr.White and his PA. They were very professional and helped figure out what was causing my pain.

BEWARE!! I had my hip replaced almost 2 years ago. After a four and a half hour surgery (no one updated my husband in the waiting room) the 1st step I took my hip slipped! I immediately told the nurse and Dr White said everything was fine. I had horrible pain daily and they kept telling me to keep going with PT and exercise. I found out later that you should never be in that much pain and to NEVER work through pain! Ive since had a revision with Dr Assini but still struggling. It will take a long time, if ever that I get my life back! Stay away from Dr White!!

I had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders. Dr Bazaz did an excellent job! His bedside manner is remarkable, he made me feel at ease, and my recovery was very rapid and progressed smoothly. As a nurse, I can definitely recommend him to anyone needing his expertise.

Dr. Mordick was rushed and rude. I felt like a complete burden to everyone there. The room was dingy, the exam table was dirty. I can’t believe I paid to have the Doctor talk to me for 2 minutes and refer me to someone more capable. Sad.

Dr. White and his team are absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend Western Orthopaedic’s. He did a hip surgery for me while i was living in CO. Almost 6 years later and no fault of his, I needed some more work done. I live in MI now and flew out for him to help me out. They are just as wonderful now! They are the first office I’ve been in that I actually felt like they really cared about me and my well being. I don’t have enough good things to say about the whole team!

My first visit was quick and to the point - Surgery was needed either now or down the road. My second visit was surgery - it was well communicated, on time, professional. My third visit was post op - Again on time, professional, friendly, and to the point. Beyond the great care, Dr. Mordick was personable and friendly. He listened to my concerns, shared funny stories of his own experiences, gave me great info on what the next steps are. I wouldnt change a thing, unless it was not to have to have surgery in the first place!

Western is great until after you have a surgery and you need a refill on your medication. My wife has had to have two shoulder surgeries and has had to be on medication for pain management. Weve had to wait weeks at a time to even get a call back to get a refill. When you call the front desk they send you to a voicemail, which is obviously rarely checked. Shes called back several times and is told the the nurse is busy and sent to the voicemail. When she says the voicemail isnt checked because shes waited for days for a call back, shes told that the nurse is unavailable and sent to the voicemail again. She was trying to get a refill before the holiday weekend, but here we are on day two of no meds, and day 5 of no call back. Her surgeons orders have been to keep up on the meds until he tells her she should step down, but the nurse and office staff have made this impossible. Its gotten so bad that Western has made my wife feel like a drug addict begging for meds when all were trying to do is follow instruction. Ive never witnessed a healthcare facility that is this miss-managed. I dare Western to not delete this review and to actually do something about this broken system.** Update **I cant reply to the owners response, so Im putting it here. As stated in my review, I was referring to my wifes struggles after her surgeries with Western and not my own. Shes since been contacted and assured that shell get her refill ASAP and offered an apology for all the trouble. Requesting refills has been a nightmare for over a year and I wrote this review in desperation as we had nowhere else to turn. Its sad that it took a bad Google review to actually be seen and heard. Im hoping that this process is fixed because my wife cant be the only one whos faced these same issues.

Dr. Parks is the absolute best!! He is a rare doctor in my opinion because he not only has top notch skills as a surgeon/MD, but his bedside manner is also really wonderful. He puts you at ease with his friendly demeanor and straightforward and clear answers to any and all questions. I really don’t have enough words for how appreciative I am for Dr White. He changed my life for the better in every way. I came to him with unexplained hip pain while pregnant, and he outlined a treatment plan over a years time that would make my pain better while describing the process, colleagues involved and what to expect. Over the last year, he has been so involved in every step, very open and communicative. I love that you get a video showing labral repairs in the hip joint to really show what was happening in real time. Every time I was hospitalized with accompanying surgeries, he rounded on me as well. You are a miracle worker and I really can’t thank you enough for restoring my quality of life!!!

Dr Hatzadakis is great at listening to you problems/ complaints and addressing them. I have had 2 shoulder surgeries done by him and I am very please with the communication and out come of those surgeries. Got in to see Dr Baran at scheduled appointment time. X-rays done quickly. Dr Baran was pleased with progress and clearly explained what was shown on the x-rays.

Arthroscopic knee surgery with no pain. None. I know the knee has few nerve endings to produce pain but still, none? I was/am so surprised I recovered so quickly and felt so great. Doctor did a wonderful job.

I am 45 years old and went to see Dr. White for hip pain that I had for 18 months. My MRI showed a Labral tear. I had a hip arthroscopy with Labrum reconstruction surgery 9 weeks ago with Dr. White. He also reshaped the femoral head to make it fit in the hip socket better. He cleaned out a lot of bursitis too. I very pleased with the results. I am back to work in a job where I walk 8 hours a day. I highly recommend Dr. White!! My experience with Dr. White and all of the staff at western orthopedics amazing!!

I was very satisfied with my experience with Dr Sean Baran and the staff at Western Orthopedics. My injury was sustained during the busy Christmas holiday period. Nonetheless, scheduling appointments for needed tests were coordinated in a timely manner. Alma, returned my initial call the same day in the early evening, She had stayed at her work until all of her calls had been made. That is dedication! I was able to schedule an appointment to see Dr Baran within a few days of my initial contact. He followed up with test results and recommendations for treatment in a timely manner. Lucy provided excellent care in coordination of testing.

He did an excellent job with my sons knee surgery about a year ago, and recently with my hip replacement surgery three months ago. He is very empathetic with his patients, and a good listener.

Not only was the whole experience not that pleasant, there were MANY SURPRISE BILLS, and refusal to tell me the pricing of anything up front or telling me one thing and then sending me an invoice for another. I would constantly ask for costs and they would refuse to tell me until after the appointment.Besides the poor experience with billing, I was told I would go back to my normal activity after my wrist surgery. I spent 6 months in rehab, and was told I was healing faster and better than expected only to have the issue arise again a year later. So, $4000 and 8 months of my life and Im in the same place I started.Also to note - during the surgery Dr. Mordick was commended for how fast he performed the surgery, and how he removed the pins post surgery in Record Time by others in the room. Not what you want to hear when someone is pulling metal pins out of your wrist.

Dr. Bazaz is the bomb!! Knowledgeable. Professional. Caring. Really happy with him and his surgical expertise and personality.

Dr. Bazaz is awesome. I very rarely have ever been treated like a normal person rather than just another patient from almost every doctor but Dr. Bazaz along with everyone else at Western Ortho is so personable. Surgery always isnt fun but Dr. Bazaz made things go about as smoothly as possible. Hes the man.

Dr. Cleveland and Dr. Traina were very knowledgable and helpful with getting my ACL and Meniscus repaired. They made me feel comfortable and explained all the steps necessary to fix things. The surgery went smoothly and everyone I interacted with was extremely gracious and welcoming.

High recommendations from the medical community built confidence in Dr Parks expertise, and his motivation to help plus obvious caring minimized my apprehension about the prospect of a hip replacement. Faith in him was further increased immediately before the procedure as he stopped by radiating positivity at the prospect of surgery. When someone loves what he does, it’s guaranteed he’s good at it. Given my very successful outcome, Dr. Parks skill is more than good, it’s excellent. My body of proof is walking without a cane 5 days after hospitalization and continuing a remarkable recovery. Fishing for a compliment from the physical therapist, I asked, “Aren’t I doing great for someone 80?” Her response, “”You’re doing great for someone any age!”

The Service from Dr Morrdick was very good. My complaint is being a first time visit to the clinic I used GPS which sent me to South Franklin vs North Franklin. I suggest that the business card read North Franklin vs just Franklin Street. The receptionist commented that GPS does this all the time. I was lucky I had planned on arriving early.I do recommend Dr Morrdick as a hand surgeon.
