I have worked for MediLogix for five years. I enjoyed my experience working there and had many opportunities to move up. I went on disability three months ago, as I’m waiting for revision surgery for my spinal cord stimulator. Unexpectedly, I received a phone call last Tuesday informing me that they were terminating my employment. No prior communication or understanding that they were thinking about moving on. I accept the termination I didn’t have a choice and they said they needed to move forward and fill my position; what I didn’t appreciate was they spoke to me cold and calculating as if we never had a working relationship. There was no empathy and no understanding, I guess that was too much to ask for. I still wish them success and life will go on. To everyone I worked with over the years, it has been a pleasure!
