When Dr. Wilkerson and Dr. Scanlan ran this practice it was truly an OASIS. Now that they have gone, the new establishment has basically erased your patient history and they give absolutely no Fs. Pardon my French. Avoid this practice. They lost my daughters shot record and she was forced to have all her shots AGAIN before she could attend East (but they were too busy to do it.) They lost my record of meds that I have been taking since the mid 90s and gave no apologies.

Been coming here for a couple years now! Their service was a bit “meh” at first but I feel like lately they’ve gotten a lot more up to speed on their customer service — their online portal and automated phone system makes scheduling appointments, updating insurance, and refilling prescriptions a breeze.I see Dr. Gretchen and she’s fantastic. I don’t know if it’s a regional or cultural thing — but me being from NYC, I love her direct but friendly communication style. She’s very thoughtful, attentive, and super insightful every visit I have with her.The team here is friendly and happy to answer questions. The office itself is clean, professional, and it doesn’t hurt that the patient rooms have a gorgeous view of Denver.A few of the negative reviews have me wondering whether people understand how booking appointments, finding the right doctor for you, and how doctor visits work.Know that what can feel transactional to one person, to another person it can feel like they’re getting the care and attention they need, efficiently and quickly. That being said, I plan on continuing coming here for years to come.

Being a patient with a chronic illness I am sadly used to seeing many doctors in my life. My experience in person today was amazing! The ladies at the front desk were nice. I only waited in the waiting room maybe 3-4 min. The nurse TJ was absolutely wonderful and pleasant to talk with. She made me feel comfortable throughout my ekg and taking all my vitals. The room itself was very modern and clean! This was my second visit to see NP Rachel Kafader and she was very attentive, understanding and spent a decent amount of time with me.I felt like I was treated fairly and I am happy I made the choice to come here.I did experience some wait times in the past to get my refills straightened out but it all worked out in the end.Dont let the other reviews scare you, find the right doc here and I believe you will have a good experience.

I usually don’t write Google reviews, but honestly this was the worst and most dismissive doctor’s office I’ve ever been to. I came in for a new patient visit, and the entire experience felt purely transactional. I didn’t even care about the wait, and the nurse who took me into the appointment was super nice. However, the doctor I was seeing (I believe her name was Gretchen) was so so so dismissive. I’m never pushy and always respectful to my doctors, but once I brought up my first issue, she said that she was just a “family care doctor” and couldn’t do anything. So, I stopped talking and didn’t even get a chance to talk about my second issue before she said “I’ll put in a request for a referral” and “you’re all set!” What a waste of time and money. Please please please don’t go here.

SCL cant keep primary care doctors in its practice. I lost 3 in less than 1 year costing me money to establish care with each new doctor and leaving me feeling abandoned while I waited months to get an appointment. If SCL cant keep its doctors then it definitely will loose patients like me searching for actual care in Denver.

Thank you to Laura, who worked with me over the phone this morning! She went above and beyond to help me find a PCP. My original doctor request wasnt available until July, so instead of leaving it at that, she helped me find someone else. She found someone for me close to my home and even quickly went through the PCPs reviews, years of service and scheduling an appointment. Other offices I called, the person wasnt helpful and quick to get me off the phone. Again, THANK YOU LAURA!!!!!!

Trying to get through by phone is awful. The line is often busy and when you do get through to the recordings the hold time is well over 20 minutes. Difficult when you work online and have back to back conference calls. Since moving to CO in 2017 I have had three young doctors... all were very good, but they leave after a year or so and as a patient you have to keep going into the office to meet the new doctors for future care and prescription refills. I do have the app and use it when possible, but if you want to reschedule an appointment the system is not user friendly.

Ive been with this group since they were Oasis Family Medicine. I absolutely love them. Its always easy to get an appointment and Ive often been able to get same day appointments even if I have to see another physician that day. I started bringing my daughter here about a year ago since shes now a young adult and she really likes this office as well. Its super clean, up to date, their technology is awesome, and they also use MyChart which makes communicating with the office, the billing department, and directly with my PCP super easy and accessable.

This clinic is an embarrassment and shows no regard for the patients time, money and by virtue, health. For in person consults, expect to wait at least thirty minutes before seeing a doctor - which may last as long as ten minutes. For virtual consults, expect the office to start calling thirty minutes in advance of the appointment time to prescreen - good luck if youre working and on a call or a video conference. For virtual consults, expect the staff to request diagnostics that can be provided from an apple watch - although they wont tell you. Expect bills to be inaccurate. Expect any refunds to be made by a prepaid credit card so that BofA can also benefit from your spending data. Expect a barrage of emails and texts every time your chart is up to date - although its difficult to tell if there is any action required on your part. Expect scheduling and prescription refills to be a nightmare. And, finally if your doctor leaves for another practice, expect that there will be NO instructions and NO transition. If you call, expect to be placed on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes. Expect the staff to be unpleasant and unhelpful - and to pretend that they dont know the patient experience is abysmal. If getting care for a patient with simple needs is difficult, how will this clinic treat someone with managed disease or something more severe? Although improvements from this post are unlikely, Id encourage management to revisit and redesign the patient experience.

This doctors office is TERRIBLE. I have a cold and requested an appointment from doctors office and they switched it to a virtual visit. I called asking questions how this appointment will be done since I am concerned that it is a sinus and cannot be checked virtually. I got hung up at least 4 times asking about this. Finally a rep stated that it can be diagnosed virtually. So I login and complete my medical history. Then Kate at SCL called to redo the medical history that already answered on the website both Kate and Shelby hung up on me when I asked why you need to redo what I just did. They would not answer the question which the answer is by law they have to verify it. I found that out when the office manager Ryan, who has gotta be the most terrible of all there called me back to tell me that. SCL also charged me beforehand for this appointment that never occurred. I have requested to void/cancel/refund the charges which has not been done. I ended up having to call my bank and requested a new credit card and to not ever approve charges for SCL Health ever again. This is the issue that was icing on the cake for me and when you are sick dealing with an incompetent staff is not helpful.Have had billing issues with SCL as well. When I came in April 2020 I paid all outstanding co-pays that were on my account for SCL. 2 months later I received a notification that another $30 co-payment was due but the billing department claims it is from 2019. If that is the case it would have been paid in April 2020 when I paid the rest that was due on the account. The billing department then advised that they messed up on the billing but could not provide a breakdown of this error. I know $30 is not a huge amount but I do not like the unclear, unconcise answers and plus billing should be done on a current basis with appointments not months or years later. The first issue I had with SCL Health was a payment with LabCorp which I did at the appointment but they claimed months later that the payment was not fully processed with my card but just put a hold on the card. Does that make any sense that months after an appointment they claim the charge never went through? I asked for the last four of the card to verify the transaction never went through since I do have a few different cards and they could not provide it and frankly I do not have time to review 4 different for months of transactions to confirm if my card was charged or not. This doctors practice is inefficient from the office staff to the billing department the only praise is the doctor that I had but you know what, doctors are available through out the Denver metro area that meet my needs without all of this ridiculous BS. So with that SCL Health is fired as my doctor and I would recommend that any others needing healthcare avoid this office and overall company at all costs.FOLLOW UP: Ryan is a liar and did not cancel the charge or refund me when I did not see anyone there. Do not believe anything he says because he is not an honest individual.FINAL UPDATE: Just so all is aware, Ryan never canceled or refunded the charge for a doctor visit that was never provided. Do you want someone that lies about $30 for services not rendered taking care of your medical needs? I wouldn’t. Would make me wonder what else they’re not being honest about.

I loved this practice when it was Oasis Family medicine. It has slowly been declining since it became associated with SCL. The office staff was very polite and friendly. Rachel Hope Kafader FNP-C isnt worth seeing. She will want you to do the steps for a medication that youre currently taking to write a script for it that youve already done. Like start at the low dose then go to the higher dose. Decent about getting tests ordered. Worthless when it comes to treating muscular pain. Send you to an orthopedic specialist instead of even attempting to treat it. Beyond that the RN named Karen was amazing!! If she would go become a nurse practitioner I would pay more than my insurance copay to see her. The lab staff was great. I barely felt the needle go in to draw blood. By barely felt it I mean 0 pain. Just the feeling of the needle going through the scar tissue in my arm from donating plasma. Front desk staff was decent. Honestly unless I see a doctor that actually knows their stuff, the only reason I would step foot in the clinic is to collect my file and all associated paperwork.

Scheduled a video appointment. When I checked in online I was charged $59 even though my copay is $30. But I needed the appointment and it was online so I had no one to ask about it. So I paid the extra fee and THEY DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP TO THE APPOINTMENT (Gretchen Ravinsky). I called and they said they would cancel the payment, but they did not. I called back and after waiting over a half hour on hold (again) was told that there was nothing they could do. Greedy, incompetent, and unprofessional. Not a good choice for a healthcare provider.

I had my first appointment here yesterday with Dr. Robbins, and I have to say, I was very impressed. The front desk got me checked in quickly, and I hardly had to wait before being taken back to the exam room. Jasmine, Dr. Robbins MA, was professional and courteous. She asked me if I was cold in the exam room, and if I’d like anything to drink while I waited. Dr. Robbins herself was incredibly kind, listened to all of my concerns and explained my plan of care in a way I could understand. When I had follow-up questions, she answered them without making me feel incompetent, and she didn’t act like she wanted to rush out of the room. Granted, this was a new patient appointment and I was allotted more time, but I didn’t expect that much time.All-in-all, my experience was wonderful. It’s my opinion that the comments/reviews prior to this weight heavily on scheduling and the front desk staff, but before you based your opinion on that, think about why you go seek medical advice in the first place...to speak to a provider who cares and sees you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. That’s what you’ll get here from Dr. Robbins.

Dr. Robbins is awesome! I would highly recommend her, especially for anyone who has a history of eating disorders or disordered eating (or if you prefer for a HAES-informed physician). She was friendly and warm, and took the time to really listen to my health concerns. She was very supportive of my wish not to be weighed, and even gave me some treatment provider suggestions. She was also supportive of my natural birth control choices. I just moved to Denver, and finding the right doctor can be tough. With Dr. Robbins, I feel like I hit the jackpot! I wish more doctors were like her.

Wow, so disappointed in this office’s sense of common courtesy. Made an appointment since they wouldn’t refill my prescriptions without coming in. But the doctor is booked out for a month. Had to ask to see an NP or another doctor (not offered any options up front), so I take off work, fight 40 minutes of traffic to make it on time, and there’s a note on the door. “We don’t have power so we’re closed—call us tomorrow to rebook”. (Note that they’re putting the ball in my court to rebook—no sorry, no we’ll reach out to you soon, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience) Now this is not a single doctor practice, and I know they have plenty of ways to reach me, so why on earth wouldn’t they call all the patients who have appointments today? Or use the automated text system that I know they have! Or even route their phones to another SCL practice! If I pulled a no show I’d probably get a bill. Maybe I should send them an invoice for my time too!

The 1st encounter with this doctors office was pleasant and that was about a year ago. Ive been back to the doctors office a couple of times this past year and its been not the best experiences. 1st thing is the scheduling. I call multiple times and never get a live person and always have to leave a voicemail. They rarely call back within 24hrs. Trying to get test results, the same thing, I leave multiple voicemails to finally get a call back. Same with getting prescriptions filled. I called on a Monday, they call me back on Tuesday and leave me a voicemail with wrong information and so I try to call them back and guess what voicemail again. Still havent heard back for my prescription. I am currently looking for a new doctors office because of these bad experiences. Will not go back or recommend to anyone.

Then, when I got frustrated and asked if I needed to go up there (to get the physical copy of the prescription) they treated me like a terrorist and is now basically withholding my medication because one of the ladies told the man I threatened her, which is LUDICROUS and offensive. I have also wasted time in trying to contact your office on numerous occassions to beg for the prescription!! Hold time: 15-35 min. ,It is now Aiugust 21-- & CVS & I have been contatcting this office since AUGUST 9 to get a correct prescription. This is poor & possibly harmful patient care. iT CAN BE VERY HARMFUL to go off of this prescription cold turkey-- & SCL Cherry Creek has caused this for 9 days. - I have been off the prescription for 12 days. I am very upset with this place. I called to schedule my annual exam. I had my appt on March 22,2019. The appt goes well and they asked me my concerns. I do a vaginal swab and blood work. I paid for my bloodwork. I got my blood results the next week, but never got my vaginal swab results back. I called them they said I can take up to 9 business days. I wait more than 9 business days and they say they still don’t have the results and will call me and push them through. It’s April 19th and I still don’t have my results and no call or update. The second problem is that they coded my visit as an OUTPATIENT and not a Annual Exam. So I get a bill for 132.98. I called them and told them that this was coded wrong. They lady said she would fix it. I called back a week later and the man told me that the lady tried to fix the claim and change it as a “Followup.” I told him that is not true it should be for an annual. They do the investigation and came back saying they can’t change it cause of my concerns when I came in. I WAS LEVIT! You asked me what my concerns were and I told you. That doesn’t mean to change the whole coding of the visit and now I have to pay 132.98 for nothing! THERE WAS NOTHING DONE FOR 132.98. We had a conversation ! I will never go back, this has been the most difficult visit I’ve had in my medical history.
