Entire process from start to finish was great. Megan made check-in and treatment planning super easy and clear! Dr. Smith is the ultimate professional. Thorough, gentle, and genuinely cares about the health of his patients. They offer invisalign, Specialists for root canals and oral surgery, to give a comprehensive patient experience. Overall great experience and will be making this my permanent dentist!

I started seeing Dr Smith when his office was closer to me up near Boulder. When he moved his office to Stapleton I didn’t question to follow him and make the drive for my dental care. He is exceptional in explaining his care plan in layman’s terms, makes you feel very welcome and has surrounded himself with a stellar support staff. Having had a lot of bad luck in my 43 years with dental care, it’s a very comforting feeling to know be in the care of Dr Smith. I can’t recommend him enough!

I was left with a toxic temporary and broken implant in my mouth! This temporary implant, has an exposed screw in my lower mouth that consistently cuts my tongue until it becomes numb. During the 2020 shutdown I needed a crown put on, my dentist was closed and going to two different specialist (root canal and periodontal) they both said I needed a crown because of how big my filling was in my molar.Anyways, the first dentist that was open was Modern Dentistry of Northfield because of this I trust them to do my crown. Since I went through Invisalign treatment with Dr. Majors, towards the end of my treatment I got refinements and still didnt work. I started to get a gap in between my lower teeth so I started to consider braces just because of the hassle of Invisalign. I went in to get my retainers and night guard adjusted Dr. Majors was very passive and rude. Frankly I was super disappointed in her because of this behavior, she wouldnt look me in the eye and wouldnt see in while I was in the chair.The Invisalign retainers did not bit which is very weird because I have been wearing my trays, the dental assistant went to ask Dr. Majors what she should do and Dr. Majors told her it didnt matter since I am considering braces.Now my teeth are 95% perfect and I just want to fix a few things I never said its something that I am doing its something I am considering. However, even if I went through with Invisalign I would still need a general dentist and my last visit showed that she is not willing to work with me.I am looking forward to finding out my remaining balance for Invisalign so I can move on and be done with Modern Dentistry of Northfield.The bottom line is I do NOT recommend Modern Dentistry of Northfield because of the poor professionalism of Dr. Majors. If I could give zero star I would, but lets just say my one star goes to the office staff who treated me with kindness and respect during my time at Modern Dentistry of Northfield.

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel I have to share my experience.First off, I will say that Dr. Majors and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. However....I went to this office as I was having a major tooth ache at the time. I went because it was the first office on my insurance list.I went into the office and was told that I needed a root canal. I believed that. I was also told that I had an extreme case of periodontal disease. I will add here that at the time I was 5 months pregnant. I was told that if the periodontal issue was not treated that I ran the risk of having a premature birth. Both in excruciating pain and fear I agreed for them to treat both issues.Due to the fact I was pregnant, my gums did bleed when I flossed but I never imagined I would have such an issue. I figured this was normal and hormonal. They told me that if I were not pregnant they would suggest gum surgery ASAP.I decided to have my next 6 month check up at a different dentist and I was told my gums were fine. The new dentist did a thorough check due to my previous appointment telling me this information.Thinking back on my experience here I get incredibly angry. I also get incredibly angry every time I pay the bill. I spent hours at this office over the course of a few weeks. I remember sitting in the chair hearing the office manager giving the same talk to other patients of “this is what your insurance covers, and here are our payment plans available.” I knew that was a red flag but I was already too deep into the process.They got me and I just want others to be forewarned.

Highly recommend! I’ve been to the office several times and seen the GP, hygienist and root canal specialist in the office. Everyone is very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable in their position.

I had such a good experience here! I was nervous coming in and Allison at the front desk made me so comfortable. She was warm and welcoming the second I walked in and made sure I was comfortable in the waiting room. She answered all of my questions- and even came back to check on me later! Dr Majors was very personable and walked me through the entire process. I felt very comfortable the whole procedure. The space was new and modern and being able to relax next to the windows looking out on northfield was very refreshing (rather than staring at the wall). I would recommend this location to anyone!

The best dental visit Ive ever had! They made an emergency visit for me the next morning after my late night call! Alli in reception went above and beyond helping me find and setting up the most economical payment method n plans as well as being super sweet n personable. Came here for a quick fix on a permanent retainer. Not only did they squeeze me in same day, they were quick, professional and reasonably priced. Now my daughter and hubby have both gotten work done here and love it as well!

Im from out of town staying at the Staybridge next door. I had a front tooth/crown snap off on the flight here. I called them and they were able to get me in the next morning. Expecting a high-pressure upgrade push however I got none of that. Instead I got very professional, quick, friendly service from a high-tech dental office. While there they included a cleaning with the x-rays and it was probably one of the best cleanings I have ever received. If I lived in the area, Id seriously consider them for my dental needs.

I pondered my experience before writing this review. I was there to see a specific dentist as I researched the dentists at the office prior to booking my appointment. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the dentist office and mentioned the dentist that I expected to examine my teeth. I was in the waiting room for over 25 minutes, which I found curious because the office seemed empty. The front office staff was not a good experience. They think they appear friendly but what they are in actuality is patronizing and insincere. However, I digress... After waiting, I was directed to the x-ray area where they took multiple x-rays. I was concerned about the exposure to the radiation given the number of x-rays taken and was given a patronizing response by the x-ray technician. Again, I asked to see the dentist that I had researched - and the x-ray tech, and later the dental hygienist denied knowing the doctor. I contacted Aetna to find out if the dentist was in network and where they were located. As it turns out, Dr Nguyen is the Endodontist. In retrospect, I felt that I should not have had as many x-rays that were taken, but wasnt sure how I could have avoided it because I was not given straight answers when I asked questions of the staff. Now, I am having issues getting this office to send me a statement so I can have closure to this miserable experience. I cannot recommend!

Came here today due to having a terrible throbbing toothache. As an out of state truck driver I was very appreciative that they were able to get me in on short notice(Called at 8:40 am and they were able to get me at 10 am). The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. After taking pictures the x rays showed I had two wisdom teeth that were in extremely bad shape and they needed to be pulled. Dr. Majors was great and did a fantastic job. I could tell the difference almost immediately after they were done and they made sure I had all the information necessary and what to do and not to do after being treated. Hopefully I wont have to return again for anything but if I do, I certainly will be going here again.

I wish I had looked at the reviews, but I just picked a dentist on my insurance plan. Ill preface by saying I take great care of my teeth and go at least twice year for cleanings. Im the kind of person who changed fillings so theyd look nicer and got braces at 40. I really care about my teeth and normally love the dentist. I was at the dentist 5 months before trying Modern Dental Corporate Practice (should have known to stay away from this corporate run location), and I went to another dentist two days after my last interaction with them. Based on that - they either lie or exaggerate to make you do unnecessary procedures. They told me I needed tons of fillings and a deep cleaning - neither of which was covered by insurance. Go to one of the other dental practices in the area and you will be much happier and taken care of as a person rather than a dollar figure! Stay away from this practice.

Its been a while since Ive visited a dentist, Im so pleased with my choice to come here. The staff was incredibly pleasant and thoughtful. Discomfort was kept to a minimum and my work was done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Modern Denistry of Northfield to anyone looking for a forever-denist!

After trying this place several times Im not going back. They have had to re-do their work on a few procedures that I have had, my partners as well. They always recommend the highest priced materials and procedures even though there are alternatives. When you ask them about the alternatives they start treating you like a 2nd rate citizen. Last interaction that ensured them losing my business is Im getting a bill 6 months after a procedure that they said insurance would cover. Even if insurance didnt cover, why does it take 6 months?! Sounds like fraud to me, Ill be investigating.

I had the same poor experience as some of the other recent patients unlucky enough to select this office for their dental care. The staff didnt seem to know what they were doing and the dentist was more concerned about my pocketbook than my dental needs. I came there for a second opinion and let me just say Im very concerned about the lack of ethical treatment at this practice. Buyer beware! Like I said looks like this a true pattern of this dentist. I would highly recommend one of the other dental offices in the area with better reviews. Lesson learned, I should have checked the reviews before going to see Dr. Kelsey Majors!

The place is very clean and up to date on technology. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with.

I was told the craze lines on my front teeth would eventually split my teeth in half. They kept trying to upsell me on dental work that I didnt need, and when I said no, the dentist would rudely scoff well, its your mouth. Afterwards, they scraped my teeth and gums harder than any cleaning Ive had.

This was my second appointment with Modern Dentistry and I will not be returning. Despite the staff being very kind and courteous (the only reason this wasnt a 1-star), I feel very uncomfortable after my visit. After having a completely clean bill during my first visit, the doctor today tried to convince me that I need 3 crowns to replace the work of a previous dentist. Ive never had a crown in my life so this seemed strange - but Im not a dentist so was not going to argue. She then showed me a photo of an dirty, cavity-filled tooth inferring that these were my cavities. It took me a second to realize that I wasnt looking at my own tooth! It was a photo of someone elses! Unless Im way off-base this seems like a very shady tactic to scare people into procedures.Despite this and again, not being a dentist, I wasnt going to contend the diagnosis of cavities, but after seeing the quote for the procedures (which added up to $4.5k) I decided not to proceed.Still feeling weirded out, when I got home I looked at some reviews and saw a mention of an article written by the owner of Modern Dentistry (Dr. McCann) describing the machine-like efficiency with which her office completed 700 crown procedures totaling $2mil in a recent year (just google Dental Economics McCann). At this point the pieces came together - its seems business comes first here.I completely understand all dentist offices are businesses - its just that I prefer not to be tricked using shady tactics into purchasing procedures that seem to be quite big money-makers for the operation. Thank you again to the staff who was genuinely delightful.

Avoid this Corporate Dental Practice at all cost! Dont let my horrible experience with Dr. McCann at her other dental practice Aurora Modern Dentistry become your reality! I encourage you to read the dismal Google and Yelp reviews of her other dental practice at Aurora Modern Dentistry. She also boasts on Dental Economies about how much money she makes placing same day crowns...it appears that her only focus is money and not patient care and it shows! Here is the link to her article where she prides herself on placing over 700 crowns in one year making her practice more than 2 million dollars, money is obviously a driving force over the patients dental care. You be the judge! But I would encourage you to look elsewhere if you are looking for a high-quality dentist that is going to provide you with quality dentistry at a reasonable rate!

Not very helpful to new patients - i knew exactly what was needed from a different dentist, had xrays and they wouldnt quote me a price - not even a ballpark price without me first paying a new patient $59. i have 4 other dentists quote me prices for: #18 root canal, build up, crown, meds, consultation and misc fees. the receptionists wouldnt even quote a ballpark. i stated i was a cash customer and needed a ballpark within $500. oh well - thanks Green Valley Ranch Dental, you saved my hubby :)

I tried to have regular visits with them, but the Dentist (hispanic Dr)said that I needed alot of work done to my teeth. He showed me a picture of what my teeth looked like and it was the worst teeth with gengivitis and gum dissease. He said I needed their procedure which was a lot of money plus a deep cleaning. I was shocked because I have always had regular cleanings. I went with another doctor and all I needed was a regular cleaning and save my self a lot of money. 2 stars because they do have good technology and they did a good job with my husbands crown.

I went last week and they told me a lot of things to do to my mouth, its absurd I had my routine checkup less than 6 months and everything went well. They agreed to call me to give me a quote and not even courtesy did the young woman who attended me call me. I better not come back👎
