I enrolled in the phlebotomy technician program and it was everything I expected and more. My instructor, Ms. Sterva, was so knowledgeable and her personality was so infectious. Im going to truly miss her. When I was having a bad day, her aura made me smile. If I could take another class with her being my instructor, I would. She will forever be apart of my life. Thank you Cambridge College for providing me with not only a certificate, but an instructor that rocks!

I had a great experience with the Phlebotomy program!! The instructors supply you with all the material that is needed to pass the courses and to help you gain hands-on skills needed for the field. I gave four stars because we had to be online for the majority of the program. I would have preferred to have been in person for what the tuition costs.I would recommend getting the actual NHA book if you plan to take it, and use Cambridge’s material alongside the NHA book :)

Cambridge was such an awesome experience for me to start out my medical profession. I was not sure what program I should take and then I stumbled upon the Medical Assistant program. Looking back I am so happy I did! The program taught me so much about the medical field. My teacher, Janette guided us every step of the way through the different courses we learned and was EXTREMELY helpful. I have seriously never had such a great experience when it came to school before. I was excited for class and excited to learn. And after my externship I was immediately hired by the site. This review is from a working, licensed radiation therapist. If you do not have self-discipline, this school is not for you. For the amount of money that any of the programs at this school cost, one would think they would be getting an adequate education, at a halfway decent location. This school is/has neither. As students are coming into my hospital, I feel the need to express the shortcomings of this expensive school to those considering joining. Don’t be enthralled by their pseudo wait-list, you magically made it to the top of! Get into an ACCREDITED worthwhile program! Don’t go into financial debt, in the middle of a pandemic out of desperation. You will suffer more. Do your research! I just graduated, and even through the pandemic the teachers were accessible to anything we needed. After graduating, I was contacted by the school’s head of career services, Maria Amador, I was able to seek several positions, but she worked with me to find the specific type of position I wanted in the field. Once I interviewed, I was called back for a peer interview an I was unsure of how that would go so I reached out to Maria, and she gave me a time in the same week to set up a mock interview, & she was constantly letting me know what to be prepared for but also she was my biggest cheerleader. As well as Stacy Kopso, who kept me on the direct path to success, when having difficulty with understanding any material she offered personal tutoring sessions, at the request of the student prior to her stepping in when it was needed. I appreciate each person I came in contact with at Cambrige.

I would not recommend this school. Yes it’s easy and fast paced, but it is not a school that will truly teach you the things you need to learn to be successful in your choice of work. After deciding to leave this school to pursue other educational goals I had, none of the credits I had would transfer over due to it not being “an accredited college.” If you go here and have a change of heart for your career choice, be prepared to be thousands of dollars in debt to retake the classes elsewhere.

So pretty much I am in student loan debt and wasted all of that time for nothing! This school is WAY overpriced for not being regionally accredited, to charge 50 k for an education and not even be able to transfer the credits from this school make it pretty much useless. Not only is Ms. Almonor; a lovely, and a supportive professional; but a smart and ambitious individual who will push you to your potential. She will deliver all the knowledge a student will need to graduate from the Phlebotomy program. For example; Sterva has volunteered her time after class; to help students. She also has brought extra reading materials into the classroom for learning. In addition, she has been very patient with all of her students on so many levels.I highly recommend this program at Cambridge College of Healthcare and Technology in Delray Beach, Florida. I have been an RN for over 40 years and I have had the privilege to be an instructor in the ASN program at Cambridge for some time. The program has grown in its student population and has acquired some of the highest qualified and educated faculty. There have been many success stories during my tenure here, students who have overcome challenges, personal and professional, who have passed the Board of Nursing’s NCLEX exam. They have been offered nursing positions throughout Florida and other states, in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices and clinics. The past few weeks during quarantine have been a real test of determination and dedication on the part of students and faculty in all departments. Watching RNs and other health care providers on the 24-hour news cycle has underscored the need for excellent students who will become excellent RNs. As faculty, we strive to educate our students to meet the high standards set by the Board of Nursing and ACEN. Not everyone can be an RN, or a teacher, or a law enforcement member, or firefighter. I am proud of our graduates, who I have had the privilege to teach and mentor. Cambridge will continue to embrace high standards and quality to produce classes of excellent nurses.

Oooohhh where to begin.. I wouldnt even be writing this if I hadnt been sent to collections over services I never received. Im sure some professors and classes are better than others but my personal expierience here was bad. My instructor Sterva was extremely rude and opinated. She would often make weird racial remarks and was just very judgy and went off topic a lot. I ended up leaving the class about 3 weeks in because we had an arugment over a short quiz she had already graded and handed back, but 2 days later she tells me she needed it back. I told her I threw it out because it was already handed back and graded and she became very irate and started screaming at me in front of the entire class. She said I was no longer allowed in the class due to my immaturity. I was 17 at the time. I left that day, and called on Monday to tell them my concerns and to tell them i would not be returning. They said ok, and i ended up getting my Phlebotomy licsense at Center for Career Training in Fort Lauderdale. That was a great expierience and was only $390 opposed to the ridiculous $2000 they wanted me to pay for the same amount of class hours. The class was $180 per week and i attended 3 weeks. I paid $540. Now, almost 2 years later, i get a letter in the mail from collections saying i owe them money for the rest of the class!! I wasnt even there for 8 weeks of it because they told me to leave!! What a joke. If you actually read the reviews closely you will see that most of the 5 star reviews are by people without profiles and who barely speak English. Seems fake. This place is a total scam. Just last week, Cambridge had an average of 3 stars now its 4. I suggest, if you want to become a nurse, that you look elsewhere. Save yourself the heartache, after two years in the nursing program and over $50k in debt I made it to my last day and the new Director Conte won’t let me take my Exit Exam.To get straight to the point, When I started this program back in 2019 my official agreement with the school has nothing about us taking an ATI NCLEX course at the end. The school recently added this new Nclex ATI course that you have to do for 8 weeks in the syllabus, mind you none of us knew about it until Preceptorship ( last course of the program) according to the rules you have 8 weeks and you have to pass the predictor exam and get a 90% chance of passing NCLEX before you can take exit exam.I recently took the predictor and got 88% chance of passing NCLEX, my ATI coach said I can take the exam 3 times to pass she’ll retest me next week but since my exit Exam is this Friday August 20th, Conte said I have to retake the preceptorship all over again and won’t let me test. So no I’m not taking the class over because I passed all my classes, did my hours now all I need is to take my Exit exam and get the heck out.I started the ATI course on July 2nd basically I got until August 28th to finish but still Director Conte won’t let me take my exit exam. What this school is doing to our time, money and education is unfair and cruel. They passed whoever they want and failed whoever they want, believe me I got proof of that. And that’s why I’m writing this review today if you are thinking about going to this school don’t, do your research first because once you start you have no other choice but to finish since the school is not Accredited.

For the nursing program they give more classes that’s not necessary just for additional money. What you don’t know is that in a class that starts with thirty students by the middle only has a remaining of seven students. This school shouldn’t have the nursing program in it at all, if you plan on taking nursing try else where with this school your be sorry, they give you one pair of scrubs and everything else your buying out of pocket for the program. They tell students don’t work and they don’t care it’s your problem but I guess upon taking your financial aid money and making you pay them every month you shouldn’t work. You can’t have emergency’s your not a real personIf you have to do clinicals and there is no school for whatever reason, you have to find your own hospital, your own location to do it by yourself where they have no recommendations or nothing to give youbut they no every location is going to ask for a background check and fingerprints.Badbadbad school for nursingThey are so bad they go class to class to ask students to do good reviews for them and they tell you what to say in it.

This school has so many issues. The upper hand staff does not handle things in a professional manor. If a student does one minor thing at clinicals they dont even try to help the student out they just fail the student. The clincials are beyond far away and I feel it is very disorganized. The only thing I ever liked about this school the 2 years I attended was my Echo teacher (Ms. Freedman) and my abdominal teacher (Mrs. B). They are both amazing teachers and will go out of their way to help their students. If it wasnt for them I would have left this school after my 3rd semester. All in all I wish I could have changed to a different school; but the credits dont transfer.

Im sorry for 50k this place is a waste of time, you literally need to be the robot type of human being to qualify to attend, the head nursing administrator, ms. Penny (dr.penny)is a joke and has three degrees yet cant speak proper English, and discriminates on men who want to be nurses, the admissions manager Brian should be a car salesman, fits you much better sir and if it wasnt for your orlando location trying to bring light to such a uncomfortable situation truly I should report this institution for negligence and fraud, you guys stole my 50$ lol, their clinical reach is literally non existent and honestly no one ever has a straight answer, um yeah dodged that bullet, thanks for telling me Im not fit for your clinical sites, when Ive been told by three major medical organizations that my small wrong doings In the past should be nothing to stress for clinicals or a seat at the nclex.Ill take the long but professional route through public college, where my credits are fully transferable and their clinical connections are well rounded and superior, not to mention 43k cheaper.Oh and dont try deleting this bad review, its honest and I will post again if its removed.🤔🙄Good day.

Currently a student about to graduate from the DMS program and I can honestly say the staff has been amazing to me. The program director is very approachable and has an open door policy. Meaning she is willing to hear you out with any issues you may have. I can honestly say that she wants all her students to succeed and will help you in attaining any goal you may have. Mrs B, Mrs Friedman and Dr Berneche are amazing educators, any student that does not take advantage of their knowledge and resources are fools! The clinical coordinators, Mrs Paz and Mr. Valdez, although extremely busy will do what is in there power to place everyone in great sites. I have been fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to rotate at such wonderful hospitals in SoFl! Mrs Crichton, the Career Coordinator, is the sweetest and will help you in anyway possible. I would recommend the DMS program to anyone!

Someone commented that the school deletes the bad reviews, and i agree ! A lot of these reviews are actually staff members, not students. This school is complete trash. All they care about is money ! Teachers quit every week. Financial aid scams you out of your money, And the clinical sites are very far away. please stay away ! Their programs are beyond expensive. Universities ( and even community colleges) will literally laugh at you if you tell them you went to Cambridge. BTW the credits do not transfer.

This school is a complete joke the staff quits every month, the school just deletes the negative reviews. The school has a DMS program that is very misguided. Let me start by saying clinicals are anywhere from port saint lucie to homestead and they dont care about you where you live. The clinicals either dont let you scan, treat you like a slave or try and get you in trouble . The school will outright fail you via email and expect you to pay double for the same class. The staff has no idea what they are doing if you ask any of the staff they havent been there more than a year or two. The school is as bad as keiser at this point .

Attending Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology as an RMA was a thrilling experience allowing me to attain knowledge that was essential for pursuing my career in the medical field. While attending Cambridge I indulged in phlebotomy, EKG, and other interactive courses enabling me to get hands-on experience that gave me insight on what Id be doing in the future. To conclude, I meet influential educators and supportive peers that made my success in school feasible.
