He is a great Dr. He is very professional and he makes me feel at home. (He is very personable) He gives me excellent medical advice all of the time. I had two FMLA cases and his staff submitted the information promptly.

I’ve worked for this office for over two years. Dr.Polanco is a great physician that lacks organization and is terrible with time management. If you have an appointment at appointment at 1:00 pm don’t be surprised if you don’t actually get to see him until 2-2:30pm. Carmen is a great ARNP! She is very thorough. As far as the staff be patient with them because they’re over worker and under paid.

He is very knowledgeable and careful on his job. He took time analyzing my case. The team is lazy and don’t pay attention when you talk to them. Getting them to call the pharmacy for a refill is a real challenge.

My spouse and I are new to Delray and were recommended to Dr Polanco. We had a team of specialists all working together for the past 15 years to create a treatment plan for my spouse. Dr Polanco agreed to the plan and to write the Rx supporting the plan. We offered to see local specialists to confirm the treatment plan but he said he was comfortable with it. 30 days after seeing the Doctor he started changing the plan by reducing quantity and strengths of medications vital to support my spouses health without consulting us. For nearly a month we called and the staff would offer to talk with the doctor and get back to us but they never did. Today we are out of two medications and the doctor refuses to continue with the plan that the team of specialists had put in place. He offers no explanation and refuses to call us directly to explain his actions leaving his office staff to relay his arbitrary decisions.Stay away from this doctor!

Best Doctor ever! Patience, Professionalism, Caring is foremost with him. Recommend to all those looking for Primary and especially for Geriatric Specialty.

I see Dr Ernesto Porras-Polo. He is the Best doctor Ive found in PBC. He always remembers you, he is very thorough, checks for medication interactions, goes over your medical history, listens to you, and answers questions without rushing you. One thing I find to be important is he is humble. It is Very rare in this country to find humble doctors, but it is important because once they think they are Gods, they think they cant make mistakes, and thats when your life is in danger. Never trust a Dr who thinks they know everything. Or one who does not remember anything about you, or who does not review your meds and correspond with your other Drs. Never trust a Dr who is always in a rush, who is condescending, or who doesnt answer your questions. Another thing I love is that theres always a real person answering the phone, no having to leave voicemails that never get a response like other places. It is great to find someone who does things the old school way, where a patient is treated like a person rather than a number and a paycheck.
