Would highly recommend Visiting Angels, Denise is truly a caring and wonderful person. I was looking into having a nurse come for after surgery care for my mother, and Denise was so patient and caring as we went through the process and she asked all the questions to try to find the right type of nurse. In the end I ended up not needing it, and when I called to tell Denise her reaction was she was so happy my mom was okay and didnt at all seem bothered that I would no longer need services. I truly appreciated her response and her care. Based on her level of detail and care, Id highly recommend this company and specifically Denise for all of your needs.

In June 2021 many of us were thinking life was returning back to some kind of “normal”, summer was upon us, and there was a light at the end of a long tunnel of so much uncertainty. As a teacher, I was too happy to leave the challenges of virtual life and get back to real life.To say receiving the call that my healthy 78 year old mother had a stroke, was at the very least, unexpected and at the most achingly scary. Without my dad alive, and my sisters out of town, it was all on me to ensure her well-being.After 7 weeks of navigating the tapestry of hospitals, doctors’ appointments, insurance, Medicare, and my mom’s basic needs, the calendar crawled toward my need to return to work. I knew she was not yet strong enough to be left alone, and I would not trust anyone else to care for her. When I told her I would take a permanent leave, her response was a resounding no, thus entering a new maze of finding the right caregiver.Covid kicked back in with a new variant, my mom was still weak, and I didn’t know how or where to begin…Enter Visiting Angels! After only moments of speaking with Denise Ben-Haim, Client Services Advisor, my heart stopped racing, my nerves were suppressed and within a day she was sitting in our living room with a clear vision for what we needed in a caregiver. No request was too much. No question went unanswered.48 hours later Edith entered our lives, took my mom under her arm, and said “I am here for you.” Edith is not just my mom’s caregiver, she is a part of our family and we can’t thank her or Visiting Angels enough for the resounding peace they brought to our hearts. This is a world class organization who did an amazing job with my parents!!!!!! Denise was outstanding working quickly to manage an urgent need for my family. This is the second time we have used her services and amazing is the only word that comes to mind. Doris was in charge of our household helping loving my father through his struggles with dementia. Plus she helped my mom after a fall!! Doris represented the name well as We found her to be an Angel and an absolute professional. Take care and 5 stars for sure.

There are no words to say but Thank G-d for Visiting Angels. First off Abby and all the aids were professional, attentive, responsive and amazing and caring. That said, My MIL was thrown out of the hospital because she was Covid Positive and had a stroke, she was half paralyzed and told us there was nothing they can do for her. Hospice Vitas FAILED us in a big way, leaving my MIL alone in the home with no nurse. We called Visiting Angels and they helped us from the beginning with every emergency and every need. I would trust my own life in their hands. AMAZING THANK YOU SOOO Much. they helped her get through the rough part. Now she is getting rehab and we hope she gets stronger.

Visiting Angels is like having angels beneath your wings... they are ethical, caring, experienced professionals. Lori Dahan and her team exceed expectations. They are client focused helping my family understand and navigate all of the challenges of elder/patient care. I trust them to prioritize the needs of the people I love most and they have not disappointed me.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this agency and the people who work here!!! The customer service is superb. They’re responsive, flexible, kind, professional and supportive, from the first encounter over two years ago when my mom was fully functioning and very independent, to now when she needs a different level of support, they’ve accommodated ALL of my family’s needs.My family is all out of state so we need to know my mom is safe. When my mom fell and landed in the hospital, before I could fly out from California, they worked with my continually changing plans without any issues. They gave me the peace of mind I needed at such a stressful time.The caregivers truly care! The Visiting Angels management has selected the right caregivers for my feisty mom. We’d be lost without them all! I went through a different agency some years ago so I have a comparison. Marie D. Has been a saint in helping with my moms care. Very caring and thoughtful in communicating with our family.

This is the second year we have had Verlina, a lovely Jamaican lady, take care of my wife and I. She comes to us for four hours a days, 5 days a week. We were introduced to Verlina by Ms. Benz, also a terrific person. Verlina does it all from light housekeeping, washing, folding and putting away our clothes, making and cooking delicious ,fresh meals. She is never late and is always cheerful. An example of her versatility was last year. We moved, as usual, to our timeshare on Delray Beach. Our units are similar to one bedroom hotel rooms with a tiny kitchen. The kitchen we had included a stovetop, a microwave, and an old toaster oven. Verlina made several delightful meals out of this kitchen for over 6 weeks , not for just us two but we had my daughter and her 17year old son who ate everything but the plate. I think that Visiting Angels is one of the top agencies in caring for the elderly. They believe that the patient is the number one priority even if issues arise between the patient and an aide. The aide my (102 year old) mother had was very pleasant, easy going and knowledgeable. Irv Seldin, President, Colleen, Patty, Alexis and whomever else I spoke with are some of the most proactive ,most pleasant, and reassuring people Ive ever spoken on a business with.
