My Resident Doctor D. Kumar and Staff were amazing when I went there fir treatment compared to the Treatment I received at Betgesda West. He took his time 5ome to explain all that was needed to be down after I explained all my symptoms and have been going thru the past week.

Worst ER facility I have ever been a patient in. Extremely disappointed in cleanliness and staff care.

Staff rude unprofessional, . I was cussed ar by stagg. Refused to be !looked to speak to a supervisor. I am. Pathetic excuses for human being

I worked here for 4 years and the exterior of the place has changed, but not so much anything else. Father is hospitalized here for 2 days so far. 20 calls, and empty promises that a nurse will call you in 30 minutes, its now 2 days later, not one call, not even one. The nurses on the phone (after calling 2 days to reach someone) talk to you like they are doing you a favor for even answering, most likely cause they are chronically understaffed. My dad calls me and tells me he hasnt seen anyone in 3 hours. Im stuck here between a hammer and a nail, because he is thirsty and not getting cared for, but cant go visit or get anyone on the phone. Delray medical center is a place to go die at, not to heal. Was a joke when I worked there, still a joke today. Avoid this place like the plague.

My aunt was admitted to Delray emergency room for one night. She is recovering from a stroke and heart attack, still struggling with aphasia and early dementia. Upon EMT arrival to transfer back to rehab, EMT staff found her bed sheets and diaper completely soiled. I assumed this happened during my time there (~1 hr) yet when I asked the nurse to clean her up prior transfer, she informed they do not carry the brief/diaper she had on. This is when it came to my attention my aunt did not receive any hygiene care the ENTIRE time. My aunt has not yet regained her ability to speak. To know she couldnt communicate needing to use the bathroom nor needing to be changed breaks. my. heart. When I confronted the charge nurse about this, she was defensive and initially refused to take responsibility for this neglect. I asked her are activities of daily living (such as bathing and hygiene) not cared for in the ER. Initially she said no, since their time is short. And when I confronted this, she recanted and said yes, of course! Completely unacceptable. First portrait I viewed when entering the ED was recognition of this facility being one of top 50 hospitals in the nation. This is an embarrassment and disgrace to the nursing profession. Delray, DO BETTER.

The worst ER ever, I can tell you that by experience. They don’t give a sh** about patient care. Stay away from them

The emergency room has always provided both my parents with excellent service. My mom was just in there a Wayfarin INR problem -- her level was 8.0 and they stabilized her immediately. The staff is courteous and pleasant. I have no idea why people are giving them a 1 star rating. If you are in serious need of immediate treatment, rest assured, they will take care of you here.

I was seen quickly and was treated with care and respect by all of the staff.

I’ve heard great things about this place and honestly had the worse experience. All the nurses are laughing talking making jokes . They are being unprofessional and have not check up as well lack of communication. First time here and never coming back. They need to get their staff under control plus it’s not even busy in here.

I have been to this ER unfortunately several times, and they have took care of me quickly and gave me the best care !! if you ever get to a need to go to the ER this is the place!!

I admitted myself into to ER after 3 days of severe nerve pain in my head. After waiting over an hour in pain I was visited by a doctor who would ask me questions about the condition and rush into another question before I was able to finish. It took 2 hours for a cat scan, and after explaining the extent of pain I was i was told I would be prescribed an anti inflammatory which was even administered there, but never followed up on and failed to note any script. I could go into much more detail of the lack of attention this medical staff.If you are not in a life threatening situation suck it up and drive the extra 20 minutes to Boca

Unprofessional staff, you can overhear them mocking people they were speaking to on the phone.The worst part is the doctor I saw didnt prescribe me an antibiotic, didnt offer to do bloodwork when I clearly had some sort of infection in my throat or tonsils. After going to a minute clinic they were able to help me better than a HOSPITAL. Very sad that this is something that seems to be a common theme here. They also refused to prescribe me anything for the immense pain I was in nor for the swelling in my throat.I feel robbed of time and money by going here, and if I hadnt trusted my gut to get a second opinion I couldve gotten much worse... not cool. Will most likely be suing since I was able to receive documentation today from CVS minute clinic showing that I was neglected when I came in yesterday.

Stay away from this ER Hospital. I just came in to get fluids for my anemia condition. From 10pm to 4am in 6 hours I had blood work done, chest X-ray and IV fluid. Charged my insurance $19,000 !! Saw the Doctor on duty for 5 minutes he never came back. Restrooms were a mess with water everywhere. They tried to get me to stay overnight...I said get me out of here !

While waiting in the ER waiting room we witnessed a very elderly lady who was clearly suffering from dimentia be treated so poorly we were shocked and appalled! The staff not only lacked any semblance of caring, compassion or empathy. They treated her like a nuisance, rather than a human being. It was late at night, she was there alone look for her husband (clearly lost and confused). They called the police on her! The police officer proceeded to yell at her, threaten her, berate her, and be a complete and total bully..... Until he found out I was recording the entire thing, then and only then did anyone actually show any fake concern for this poor woman. The cops tune changed from throwing her out on the streets you need to leave, Ill arrest you, Ill tresspass you power tripping, barking orders, threats and ego fueled commands at this very old, frial, tiny, soft spoken woman who could barely walk with a cane. Once they knew they were being recorded the staff actually asked her questions and did their best imitation of having a heart, when just seconds earlier they were having a laugh with the cops, making fun of her, mocking her condition, while having the cops who were laughing at her and joking at her expense throw her out on the streets, in the middle of the night, because they couldnt be bothered with her. It was heartless, shameful and absolutely unacceptable!

Worst medical experience of my life 7 hour wait to be seen in Emergency room ! What a joke go anywhere else is my advice . Avoid having a miserable day and pay for it . The system is broken

I went in with my first pregnancy/miscarriage and the physician showed no empathy. Im never going back, let alone pay those bills.
