Dr Block is the BEST!! He is very thorough, patient, and caring. He goes above and beyond. He spends a great deal of time listening and answering any questions and concerns. I never feel rushed. His staff is friendly and efficient too! I highly recommend him.

I recently brought my parents to Dr. Block. They both have dementia. Dr. Block took the time to speak with them individually and figure out who they are and exactly how far along their dementia is. He made them feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Block cared so much that he personally called me after he received the lab results to go over them and explain what they meant. He genuinely shows concern, empathy and compassion towards his patients. His staff is top notch and will make you feel very welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I would highly recommend this practice.

It was more then a year ago I first was introduced to Dr. Block by my family members.My sisters initially contacted Dr. Blocks office the first thing on a Monday morning. My uncle had just returned to the USA from Uruguay the previous Friday and was apparently in desperate need of medical care. They arranged for a same day appointment with Dr. Block. Upon the two of them meeting Dr. Block immediately diagnosed him with severe heart issues and referred him to a cardiologist. Within a week he was admitted to the hospital for a heart valve replacement and pacemaker. My uncle remained under his care until recently relocating to Texas. He always states Dr. Block saved my life!Shortly after my uncle became a patient of Dr. Blocks my mother switched to be under his care. Impressed with his compassion and care she continues to be a grateful patient of Dr. Block. Throughout the last year there have been several physical issues that my mother had just dealt with until he became her physician. He takes the time to listen to his patients, has the knowledge and expertise to correctly diagnose the issues and provide excellent care and recommends treatment plans.Dr. Michael E. Dr. Block is a very dedicated professional. You can see the compassion he displays when he helping his patients and staff. They can do any blood test right in office or have a nurse come to your home for the draw. As a nurse, working with dr. Block I can say it is an amazing experience for me! He is very caring, helpful and sincere doctor who treats his patients with professionalism and he goes above and beyond for them. He answers my urgent calls on the weekends and always available when patients need him. His office staff is very helpful and responsive and follow up on my calls and orders right away. Dr Block is the most amazing and caring medical professional our family has ever encountered. He has been taking care of my 80+ year old mother-in-law for the last 18 months and she has a multitude of serious issues. Other doctors, including those in hospitals, have had pessimistic forecasts, while he has resolved issues that they themselves created. He goes out of his way to be available for phone conferences and visits. He never rushes my family off the phone; quite the opposite, he spends as much time as we need to answer all of our questions. He treats the whole patient, body and soul. If you are a geriatric patient in South Florida, our opinion is that Dr Block is the best.

TRULY CARING MEDICINE, LIKE YOU USED TO SEE!!!Dr. Block is absolutely wonderful! He listened carefully to my 96 year old Mom and accurately diagnosed her breathing problems. She is doing much better because of his terrific medical skills. He loves what he does and Maureen and Susan are great office staff that work closely with patients and the family.

Dr Block is a brilliant physician whose personal approach is a rare find today. He asks the right questions and takes the time to listen. With His in house Lab he knows test results right away and can efficiently diagnose and treat your needs. My mom is 88 years old and went to see this Doctor. She was very dissatisfied with him. He took blood tests that did not make sense and alarmed her. Our neighbor went with my mom for another appointment. My moms neighbor is a very smart outspoken woman. She was appalled at the way my mom was treated. I would not recommend this doctor.

I can attest to his character as a person as well as the interest he takes in others. I am most certain that these qualities will make for great attributes when caring for his patients.

I have known Dr Block for a number of years and daily, I’ve witnessed him skillfully caring for his senior citizen patients with compassion and consideration for their individual needs. The derogatory review made a few months ago is either fake or a mistake for another doctor because Dr Block is a Geriatric Internist and does not treat children, as indicated in this fake review. I’m a bit suspicious that this was written by a disgruntled ex-employee.
