I have been a patient of Dr Strasswimmer for approximately 20 years. He is the best Mohs Surgeon. He is very compassionate and patient. His staff is always very professional and his office is always immaculate. I highly recommend

Dr.Strasswimmer is the best Doctor ever! His professional level is extremely high. He was recommended to me by my friend/doctor from California as the best doctor in our area and agree with it 100%. When some other doctors didnt want to do a procedure from the beginning to the end and were referring me to a plastic surgeon to finish the job (and pay double out of pocket), Dr. Strasswimmer finished the surgery himself and no one can even see a scar on my face. I would recommend this doctor to everyone who has a skin problem, big or small.

We have been using Dr. Strasswimmer and Dr. Smirnov for years. The office staff is amazing. Dr. Smirnov is our primary Dermatologist. Dr. Smirnov is attentive, extremely aware of every skin condition, she takes her time with you as if you were her only patient for the day and she genuinely cares. I would highly recommend Dr. Smirnov.

Went for mohs . He did not close the nickle size surgery hole. NO stitches . Bandaged half my leg. Instructions Do not touch. come back in a week we will change your dressing. . REVIEW REDO was 1 star I wasnt fair.I went back and the no stitch was explained. This time Mohs on my neck.. It has been 4 day . I just looked at the stitches. Thumbs up.!**** the assistant stitched me up.. I think i am counting 10 in about 3/4 inch. =- . I am HappyI think the scar will not be noticeable. I have seen People with RR tracks.This is a good , Clean. professional operation. Remember Mohs is a long process. I have no problem waiting.

All my friends were amazed at what a great job Dr. Strasswimmer did on the two Mohs procedures I had done on my face. His staff were wonderful as well. Strongly recommend his practice!

If I could Id give 1/2 star. Upset behind words. First, I was told my stitches would dissolve. Nylon stitches do Not dissolve hence a very painful healing. More importantly I received a steep bill due to incompetency. Seems the (Delray Beach) office was unaware they did not accept my insurance so naturally, why would they inform me? They took my copay on my two visits so as far as I was concerned there were no insurance issues. One month later a hefty bill arrives. After many, many calls to the office, billing department (horrendous people skills), and 3 way conference calls with my health insurance I am stuck with a substantial bill with no grounds to fight. Save yourself grief and locate another Dermatological company.

Wow. Terrible experience! Never Have I Ever! The nurse asked me a question. As I answered, within 30 seconds, she interrupted me and asked me a series of questions. I said I haven’t finished. She said I have to ask these questions.MAAM. She asked me again. I said none of the above. I said I haven’t finished. She continued trying to control me as if I wasn’t even a person. She makes assumptions and tells you how you feel. My mouth dropped! She called me ma’am about twenty times in 2 minutes. Meanwhile she’s old and wrinkly. She tells me to take my clothes off and leaves. I did no such thing. She comes back with the doctor like nothing happened. I looked at her and said can I please have my privacy with the doctor? Can you please leave now. She stormed out. Doctor did not address it with me at all. She Just pretended it didn’t happen.‘NURSE’ IS SUPER CONTROLLING. WHEN I ADDRESSED IT WITH THE DOCTOR, SHE MADE EXCUSES FOR HER! AND TOLD ME TO BE NICE! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!TURNS OUT THIS WAS DONE TO ANOTHER PATIENT LISTED BELOW. THEY INTERRUPT, ASK QUESTIONS THEN DONT LET YOU TALK. THEY NEED LISTENING SKILLS.ITS AS IF YOU ARE A NUMBER! WOW! TURNS OUT SOMEONE ELSE SAID THEY FELT LIKE A NUMBER IN A REVIEW ! I GUESS IT STARTS FROM THE TOP!

I saw Dr Smirnov, a new addition to their office, and I am very impressed! I was seen promptly and everyone, including the office staff, was courteous and professional. Although I can’t rave enough about Dr Smirnov. She had a wonderful bedside manner. Very professional, caring, and kind. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

I’ve had 2 MOHS surgeries performed by Dr. Strasswimmer, both on my legs. His work is top notch and he has a quality staff. My last surgery included a skin graft and I was very anxious about it. The doctor and nurses were caring and answered any of my questions, which assured me I was in good hands. PA Timi made sure I felt no pain and is an excellent skin seamstress 😉. My best friend had 2 cancers removed by a different surgeon, and she was butchered. I can definitely see the difference in surgeons when I compare mine to hers. I highly recommend Dr Strasswimmer for your dermatological surgery needs!

My name is Joseph Belew...patient of Dr John Strasswimmer...He removed a level 3Melanoma skin cancer from my chest...Jan 20-2013...I am well and cancer free andthankful for his skills as a skin cancer surgeon.After reading the other review...it seems they are unaware that it is standard procedureto have a post-operative biopsy...as a double check to make sure all of the cancerwas removed....The gentleman should be thankful for that...and further informed aboutwhat and whom he is criticizing ....My investigation of Dr Strasswimmer, prior to my surgery, showed excellentcredentials both Professionally and Academically...as a MD and PhD as wellThese people could not be satisfied...they are uniformed Gripers.My Phone is 733-2517

If there was an option for ZERO stars that is what I would put in. This is one of the WORST places you can go to. They book 2-3 patients at the same time and you are waiting for over an hour and a half. They have no respect for your time and the front office is rude and very unprofessional. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours I was put in the back room and then after waiting another 30 minutes I walked out. Never saw the doctor and yet, they billed my insurance company. What a scam!!! I found a much better MOHS surgeon up the road. I would suggest you go to Feinstein Dermatology Center. Dr. Feinstein is a fellow MOHS surgeon, the office is very professional, the doctor is really nice and they are very timely. Im very satisfied with Dr. Feinstein. Ugh...the thought of Strasswimmer just irks me!!

My Dermatologist (Dr. Dock) tested me positive for Basal Cell Carcinoma. By his recommendation, I went to Dr. Strasswimmers office for a consultation. Everyone from the awesome office manager, nurse Agnes to Dr. Strasswimmer were professional. They explained everything thoroughly and clearly.I went today for my surgery. Being my first, I was nervous. I was treated with dignity and respect throughout the entire process. They had teams of people to prep me, perform the surgery and stitch me. The doctors and nurses explained every step of the process and showed exemplary compassion.Awesome group of professionals. HIGHLY recommend.All my best, Bob RescinitiP.S. I loved the Dermatologist that actually removed the cancer cell and stitched me up but her name fails me. AWESOME!!!! She has been working with Dr, Strasswimmer for two years to master the Mohs technique.Dr. Strasswimmer was engaging, professional. He sensed I may have been a little nervous and talked to me, made a few jokes and put me at ease. I cant say enough positive!!!

Our experience was that Dr Strasswimmer is an outstanding surgeon and his staff is also very good.He did a difficult excision in the elbow area and a year after that is completely healed and you can barely see it.
