I came to Dr. Shannon with debilitating back pain and could barely walk. After just one treatment I felt better, and after three treatments I felt no pain at all. She was able to find the source of the issue, gradually work on different parts of my body, and perform various treatments to correct the problem. She is very knowledgeable of the human body and can pinpoint the issues. She also uses several techniques to address the situation. I would highly recommend Dr. Shannon to anyone.

If I could rate Dr. Shannon any higher I would! I came to her defeated and desperate as I had been suffering from chronic vertigo, Intense fatigue, tunnel vision, Light headedness and daily migraines for almost a year. After many, MANY appointments with ER Doctors, a primary Doctor and specialists, I still had no answers. I was simply told nothing was wrong with me. The vertigo had completely taken over my life, up-rooted my lifestyle and was causing disabling anxiety.I was referred to Dr. Shannon from a friend. I’m not a fan of chiropractors from previous history but I decided to see Dr Shannon because of my neck and back pain. She took X-rays and within days met to explain the findings and what she would be able to do to make me feel better. Over a few weeks she brought my neck and back into alignment and I’m now on a monthly or longer alignment process. She is straight forward and constantly looks for ways to help with any pain. Below is my story. But Id like to start out by singing my praise of Dr. Shannon Turek. Shes a smart, strong, inciteful, caring, kind, thorough practitioner to whom I owe much gratitude for healing me. If youre looking for a chiropractor, look no further.If you want to read my saga, here it is. It just shows the stark difference between western medical care and a more holistic approach from a top-rate doctor.My problem was severe low back and pelvic pain. An MRI ordered by an orthopedist showed lumbar spine issues. This doc and other doctors...a second orthopedist, a pain management specialist all wanted to do cortisone injections into my spine, but I wasnt convinced this was the cause. I then visited a neurosurgeon who studied my MRI and told me he wasnt convinced either and suggested I seek alternative therapy.It was then that a coworker recommended Dr. Shannon Turek, who has been my savior. After studying my MRI she identified some structural and misalignment problems that she believed were at least contributing to my pain, set up a treatment plan; began treating me 7 weeks ago and Ive seen her about a dozen times. She has also given me a light exercise / stretching regimen to do at home.Im thrilled with my progress...pain level has gone from severe to light. Ill continue to see Dr. Shannon, maybe forever, for maintenance and to enjoy the general health benefits of her chiropractic adjustments.

I am so grateful to Dr. Shannon Turek for relieving my neck pain. Upon arrival to Fort Lauderdale my neck pain was so bad that I could barely turn my neck to the left, and the pain was spreading down my back. I had never seen a chiropractor before but my wife convinced me that it would help. After a thorough exam and explanation of my issue, Dr. Turek treated me with electrostimulation, massage, spinal adjustment, and rock tape. It was unbelievable how much I improved after her treatment. The following day, I went back for my follow up and she, again, did a thorough examination (demonstrating the improved range of motion of my neck), and also did another full treatment. It was so great to not rely on medication to find relief. I really felt comfortable and confident in Dr. Turek. She suggested I keep up with chiropractic care in the future, so she went out of her way to research other chiropractors back home in Chicago that have similar treatment methods.Thank you for allowing me to truly enjoy my Florida vacation Dr. Turek!

If you are looking for a chiropractor Dr. Shannon Turek is one of the best I have been to! I moved to Florida a few years ago and was very leary of going to someone I didnt know, but was in desperate need! I couldnt walk for 3 days because my back was one big spasm. I went for massages, they helped enough so I could walk around the house, but anymore than that and I was back down. So I started looking and after reading a review I called Dr Tureks office. She was kind, made me feel very comfortable, is very knowledgeable and excellent at her job! I felt like a new person after my first adjustment. I have been going to chiropractors since I was in my teens and am now a grandma, and I believe Dr. Turek is the best I have been to! You will not be dissappointed! (I am back on my horse thanks to her)
