The Living Solution is a wonderful place to change your life. From a caring staff, to a recovery program tailored to each individual client, The Living Solution introduced me to a world I never thought possible. I am forever grateful to TLS for offering me a second chance at life.

My best friends son just completed drug treatment here and Ive seen a totally new person since he returned. This was his 3rd trip to rehab for drug addiction and hes only 26 years old, but there is a genuine change in him and he seems excited about sobriety like never before. Thank you!

The living solution has been a key player in my sobriety ... the amount of caring and support the clients receive there is a very family oriented atmosphere

This place is almost a joke. Iop is 3 nights a week of literally playing games. Sheraids, jeaporady, the movie game. They literally bill my insurance company to play games. Rent is $160 dollars a week and the dishwasher has been broken for over two months. They wont let you play your own gaming console or anything. Multiple BHTs gave quit over the last few weeks due to not lack of pay or not getting paid at all. The owner was never present around the facility until recently when he suddenly closed his other treatment center. The clients of his other facility came back to housing after a day at clinical and the water was shut off. There are a few genuine people who are employed there that truly care about their clients, but there are others not so much, and I do not blame them because I would find it hard to be passionate about my job when I wasnt even getting paid. There are certain health technicians that come to work everyday and sit on the couch in the iop house and fall asleep and play on their phone all day long. I believe it is a good somewhat a good place and they mean well, I believe they just need a better foundation and the proper people running the facility. At the end of the day I believe I should have looked into this facility more before choosing it to begin my journey in recovery

I went to TLS and at first it was an amazing program then they went under new ownership and fired all the hard working and caring councilors and replaced them with a bunch of money hungry animals. I was disgusted at the way they speak to there clients with no care or concern for their well being. Two weeks before completion I got into a verbal argument with the new house manager and the new head director at TLS so I assume they must have not liked me much after I shared my opinion on how different and how not well ran this new environment is for the clients. A few days later they told me I came up positive for THC and suboxone in my UA results and would not let me retake a test when I just came up positive two days earlier and anyone that knows if you had any of these two substances in your system two days earlier they would still be in your system at that point. They immediately discharged me and told me to pack up my belongings and to leave so I went to Walgreens across the street and bought a $45, 12 panel drug test out of my own money brought it back to the clinical staff and ask them to UA me and watch me in the process so they can see they are accusing me of something I did not do. They wouldnt even do that. They just told me to leave and that I am already discharged. I was a self pay client from NYC and my family send me down to Florida to get my life back on track and the new director at TLS did nothing to help. I felt lost and betrayed that the people who should be helping me just kicked me to the curb and did not try to see if the labs made a mistake and when I tried to prove it to them that it was a false positive test they wouldnt take another urine to let me prove myself. Now I wont say I dont recommend this place to anyone you make your own decision about it after you read my story. Its just so sad to see how well ran this program was until they fired the director and all the councilors left because they didnt agree with all the changes the new director implied.
