A very nice place with hospitable directors. The president of the centre would come to pick me at home almost everyday for Fajr prayer before I eventually relocated to an accommodation by the Masjid

Used to come here and pray with ease, the Masjid was always open even between prayer times. Now this semester front door is is locked and seems no brothers are inside :(

I wish you guys start Tahfeedul Quran at Musjid like ICN , Islamic center of Naperville, I want my kids to learn Quran in an Islamic environment. Please start Quran Programs.

Most amazing Mosque! Considering the many different groups of people involved since many years (from the 1970s through the 80s and 90s) before its inception and final construction. The international students from countries around the world initiated the idea from urgent need of an accessible, accommodating and common venue for prayers while they attend Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. Hence, the most convenient location -- nestled in NIU Campus among other House of Prayers. The hardwork, dedication, sweat and tears of those who passed the torch of pursuing this dream of a mosque, the lack of funds, the many creative efforts to raise it, the never giving up of the final objective of a Mosque close to campus, then, carrying on with this torch of responsibility passing it from one batch of students to the next, and finally, handed to current residents and students; it is what made this whole experience that something unique and wonderful! And the result -- drive by 801 Normal Rd., DeKalb, a 5-minutes walk from Niu campus -- and you shall see it for yourself!
