Dr. Stavrakos is a wonderful person from what I hear from my mother-in-law, but theres a nurse that did not represent him and his practice. On Monday January 11th, 2021 at 9:42am a nurse with no name tag and politeness was very rude to my mother-in-law, my father, me and my son.She was waiving her fingers in my fathers face and impolitely telling my mom where to sit. We all had come in together and my mother clearly tells the nurse my daughter in law brought me and husband to the appointment.She talked over my mother with other questions about my dad like does he drive?And my mother said no, my daughter-in-law brought us here and this nurse proceeds to ask again and then says nevermind we wont get into that. You have to sit over there and points her finger and says to my dad you come over here.Then after all her scrupulous behavior she asks me and my son are we waiting to be seen, we clearly told her we came in together and then the nurse proceeds to strengthen her ignorance and says to my mom can you both wait outside its way too many people in here.It was 4 of us and no one else and we sat six feet apart from each other, so this nurse intelligently pulls off a racial profile move on me and my son.I left without confrontation sitting in my car with my son outside.Dr. Stavrakos maybe a good doctor but his staff needs improvement and much prayer because this nurse is going to continue to do this if she isnt dealt with.

I highly recommend Dr. John Stavrakos. Been a patient for several years. He is an incredibly-talented physician who has an independent practice which means he chooses to put patients first vs. having to answer to a large health system. Dr. S. doesn’t treat you like a number. He treats you like a real person with care and compassion. Dr. S. is a knowledgeable, well-spoken doctor on the cutting edge of medicine, bringing the latest treatments to every diagnosis. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.

A very compassionate doctor who really listens to your concerns. He is highly acclaimed by his peers. Originally he was my sons doctor, and after my husband suffered a brain stem stroke we started with Dr. Stavrakos, and now the whole family goes here. He is the BEST!!

I have benn seeing DR. John since 2005 and he is the best soctor in Illinois.I can get in anytime I need to there is never a wait to see him and he calls me when I need him for anything hes always there for me.You couldnt find another doctor that is so caring about his patients and when your there for a visit he spends as much time with you as needed.I would never change doctors and would reccommend him to anyone and everyone in Ilinois I drive over a hour each way to see him.Love ya DR.John and staff.
