Doctors give me legitimate and significant anxiety, to the point I avoid them. Deerfield Derm, however, makes me feel calm and happy to be there. I feel well cared for, highly informed, and right at home. Highly recommend!

Horrible customer service- receptionists are RUDE and unprofessional - This practice is so beyond unaccommodating - I have been a patient for over 10 years here and am happy to say I will no longer be going to this practice -BOTCHED JOB ( they told me it COULD me my son could have melanoma ) on my sons arm 2 years ago - the doctor nor the practice owned up to ANYTHING - I will be taking my business to Dermatology Partners in Northbrook and couldnt be happier - I was treated with respect and kindness on the phone and they were SUPER accommodating !!

The scars are obvious and I would never have agreed to the procedures had I known how big the scars would be. Frankly I find the staff rude and dismissive. I plan to find a different dermatologist.

I was a little nervous having an excision but immediately Sammy and Meghan alleviated any fears I had. Everything was explained in detail, and I felt no pain! I love them. Theyre such sweet ladies. They even inserted humor, I was asked by Sammy if I wanted to hear the details as she proceeded. My choice was no, she was fine with that. Everything went well. This is my place to go for any dermatological events.

Deerfield Dermatology has great dermatologists and a very friendly staff. I usually see Dr. Marcia Johnson. She is very thorough. If needed, they also do MOHS surgery. Dr. Singh-Behl is one of the few doctors in the area who is certified to do this procedure. I highly recommend Deerfield Dermatology.

From our first visit with my mother, we thought we were getting the best help out there. But unfortunately, that was not the case. My mother was recommended by a patient that recently had gone there and told us that they had one of the best dermatologists there. Doctor Sammi, was great and helped us with everything we asked but when it came to getting a biopsy done and the results of it, it came back as a life changer. First off, they misdiagnosed my mother with LUPUS!!!! HOW DO YOU MISDIAGNOSE SOMEONE WITH THAT?!?!? for my mother and I, it was a heartbreaking thing to hear.. we had to change her eating habits, the way she went outside because of the sun affecting her skin and everything. When the bill came at the end we PAID in full and even asked about additional charges we did not want to appear later down the road. A few weeks past by and they send us a bill for $400 dollars because they had to do additional testing to the orginal biopsy. but yet they wanted my mother to come back and get ANOTHER biopsy done when it was not necessary. The staff wanted to save us money yeah right!!! Never again will we go to this place. INSTEAD, we went with another dermatologist with Northshore, and was WAY more professional and MORE helpful with what my mother had WHICH WAS NOT LUPUS. And actually answered ALL of our questions and actually picked up the phone. Everyone, please be aware of how they handle your situation as we did not have a pleasant experience with this place.

Dr. Dalton had to remove skin cancer and the scar he left was a perfect line which was better work than when I saw a Plastic surgeon to remove another skin cancer. I didn’t have a good experience during my appointment with Dr. Divya Singh-Behl. She just saw me for five minutes and when I asked her some questions about my skin she said she didn’t have time. Then, she dismissed me quickly. When I left, I passed by her office and she was sitting at her desk. I am so disappointed I will not ever return again especially after waiting over a month for this appointment.

The very best dermatological experienced! Everyone is outstanding. Theyve a Mohs procedure lab on premises (most Drs send you to a hospital for this procedure), and my doc, Jon Dalton, is fantastic, but they all are, each warm, empathic, and stunningly skilled.Highly recommended!

Dr. Johnson will spend the time with you to address your issue. She is experience, competent yet sensitive. She is great with kids and teens and was very helpful with my daughters eczema. Deerfield Dermatology is worth the drive.

I go to this office annually for a skin check up. This time, I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks in advance. When I showed up at the office, the receptionist could see that I called in to schedule but it was not entered into the calendar. The office was able to accommodate my appointment with a physicians assistant. While she was nice and knowledgible, she did not take the time that my normal doctor would checking every inch of my body. I will go back to my doctor, but in the future I will ask several times to assure that my appoint is in the book.

Dr Konanahalli is wonderful, as is the staff here. Very professional, yet friendly and down to earth. Never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen, either!

Dr. Singh-Behl is great. However, Im not ever returning to Deerfield Dermatology. They instituted a policy of keeping $150 of your cash in their hands or your credit card in their files whether or not you are a prompt payer. I was told by the front desk staff who wanted my cash advance that they are doing this because of a high rate of write-offs from non-paying deadbeats. Im on Medicare so the practice is paid promptly for that portion of their bill. To fix the write-off problem, Deerfield Dermatology apparently considers all patients deadbeats and hits them for cash upfront or your credit card. Im not playing that game; its stupid! I pay all my bills promptly whether to Deerfield Dermatology or others.

We have always appreciated the kindness and effectiveness of the doctors at Deerfield Dermatology. We see Dr. Konanahalli, who is fantastic, and is often able to get us in sooner than the previous practice we saw. Nice office,easy parking, right off Lake Cook near Pfingston.

I went there for removal of one mole and full body check of other moles. This was my first visit, and they said all the doctors were booked up for a few weeks but i could see a nurse practitioner that same week. She was very friendly and really seemed to know her stiff. I felt i was in good hands.

I felt Dr. Johnson was thorough in her examination, but the medication that she prescribed hasnt had time to determine if it is working. Only time will tell.

Treatment recommended was not effective. On my last experience, when I called for an emergency, I was asked to wait for 4 days. It was my last experience with this clinic. They are focused in $ , not to resolve patients problems. I personally DO NOT recommended.

The staff and doctors are professional and have been attentive to my concerns. My son (not a patient) had a bad skin rash and they were wonderful about getting him in to see a doctor.

The doctors and nurses are good but the front desk staff is not what i would call customer-service oriented. No smile or friendly greetings here. Rather, I was met with what ranged from bored indifference to outright rudeness. Doctors appointments are never fun, and their attitude made a somewhat stressful experience all the more so.

So I personally know Antonia from her days working at Sephora and she is a skin life-saver. When my skin started acting up she directed me back to the right routine. Now with her working at Deerfield Dermatology Associates, she can further guide me so that I can achieve the skin that I want. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about my skin type and the products I am using. I am definitely going back and doing another peel. My face felt great even with a mild peel.I am glad I took the time to go see her and check out what a visit at a dermatologists office can do that a visit or multiple visits to Sephora cant. Easy check in, saw my doctor very quickly, she diagnosed my problem and treated it quickly and painlessly , in and out in 10 minutes, She answered all my questions and set up a follow up appt

Awful experience and customer service. Booked an original appointment 1month out, was charged a copay for doctor to look at me for 2minutes and to tell me to return for a procedure on a later date. Was only able to book 2months away due to no availability. And had to book with a nurse practitioner instead of an actual physician unless I wanted to wait even longer. I drove down from the city and unfortunately rushed in to arrive 10minutes late to my 2nd appointment. When I check in the girl behind the desk rolled her eyes at me and said that they will need to reschedule the appointment because Im late!? I was shocked. Absolutely abbsurd treatment and complete lack of compassion regarding the lives and urgency of their patients. Would not recommend going ro deerfield dermatology for any service big or small.

Best Derm I have been to

Today I realized I thought I had contracted scabies. It is a highly contagious awful disease. It can be quickly and easily cured by a Dr. diagnosis and medication. Even tho they were totally booked and normally couldn’t see me for 5 days, by the grace of God, Lee found a way to get me in between appointments to see the PA. She diagnosed my problem immediately as poison Ivy not scabbies. Strange as it sounds, I feel so relived!! Thank you for helping me in such a difficult situation! You are the best!!

I had eczema (that I didn’t know at that time) on my face. My doctor was not interested in my symptoms and was quite dismissive. She determined that it was rosacea and wanted to give me antibiotics right away. When I asked why antibiotics and what bacteria was causing rosacea, she couldn’t say and she instead prescribed a cream that even my insurance company was questioning because that was for last resort situations. I frankly don’t recommend this place, or at least the dermatologist who I went to.

I have been a patient at Deerfield Dermatology for 8 years, but the office does not accommodate patients. It recently took me four calls to make an appointment with a doctor because the office would not return my calls. When I was finally able to schedule an appointment, I was 10 minutes late due to being trapped in traffic behind a car accident. I was told that I would not be seen by the doctor because I was late and would have to reschedule.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Dalton and things went very well. He seems very qualified and I will be returning.

Office is a backed up mess. One needs to show up VERY early or she wont see you. I waited a couple months for an appointment, I tried to be extra early but ran into unexpected traffic on the way, but I was still there on time. The check-in queue took over 15 minutes and she wouldnt see me. I wont be back.
