My 2-year-old LOVES going to see Ms. Heather, to the point that he regularly tells me he wants to go get a haircut. Hes super squirmy and wants to touch and hold everything, and Heather does an amazing job of keeping him entertained and calm so she can get the job done. Its a bit of a drive for us, but so worth it!

The Kidsnips in Deerfield is fantastic! It’s everything you could ever want for your child’s hair salon. Everyone who works there is so kind. My boys see Heather. She is extraordinary. She goes above and beyond.Right now everyone is wearing masks. You can tell they are all smiling under them through their eyes. The salon is very clean and safe. Kid Snips is a great place to get your hair cut. Despite the name, they welcome all ages. While this isn’t a super fancy place to get your hair done, they do haircuts, trims, and you can even donate your hair! Over a year ago, I got 11 inches of my hair cut off, and the lady braided it neatly and put it in a bag. After I left, I mailed it to a hair donation organization. They also take donations in the store, but your donation has to be a certain length. Overall, kid Snips is a great place to get a haircut, even if it is kid-themed.

All of my experiences have been great. Id love if there werent quite so many toys everywhere as it seems a little predatory. That being said, Im sure it keeps the cost down on the haircuts. Highly recommend.

I was there today for the first time since COVID and could not be more impressed by every safety measure and the cleanliness. Even before you and your child walk in, they are temperature checking and asking the appropriate screening questions. They are disinfecting everything and using hand sanitizer. There is large distance and barriers between the few chairs and they are limiting the entire space to a total of 10. I was pleased with the hair cuts and staff prior, but I am now ecstatic. Thanks KidsSnips for all that you are doing and for making me and my daughter feel so comfortable!

These ladies did a wonderful job on my 14 month old’s haircut! He gave them a hard time 😬 and they were so sweet and did their best to distract him.

He salon is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a top class salon in the area.

My 13 month old has been coming here since her first hair cut and my husband also gets his hair cut here. They remember us and always accommodate our requests. Wonderful place. Highly recommend

Ms. Hannah was awesome! As a single dad, I was having issues with my daughter’s hair. She was very patient while teaching me how to do my daughter’s hair: putting it in pigtails and a ponytail. My daughter is a bit to young for her first cut, but Ms. Hannah made my daughter feel safe and comfortable while teaching me how to put her hair in cute pigtails and even made recommendations for various materials I’d need. She had an amazing time and looks great! Thank you!

My daughter loves coming to Kidsnips to have her hair cut by Heather. Her first haircut with Heather was 4 years ago when she was only 2. Heather has a fabulous way with children. She is warm, kind, gentle and fun, all at the same time. In addition, she works wonders with her scissors and is open to direction from parents.

Natalie is AWESOME!! My long-haired toddler son loves his hair, as do I. Natalie gave him the right cut that simply cleaned it up, without looking messy while still keeping the length. Looking forward to seeing her again soon!

My daughter has her hair done weekly with either Jill or Heather. They are both great stylists and always come up with something new and exciting. I cannot think of a better place to go.

Great service, but very pricey. My 2.5 year old son tolerated it though, so that was a huge plus. Even if your kid hates haircuts, this place will make it work.

Rude, didnt crack 1 smile for the 2 boys getting their hair cut. Couldnt believe this place says they specialize in cutting kids hair. Wasnt even happy w their styles either. Having kids sit in a car shaped seat isnt enough.

Really need improvement in check in / check out process.
