Everyone cares about you deeply...Especially the techs that you see on a regular even an hour to hour bases.. ..the Sound and Music Room Gary Wayne is amazing with what he does take something that you make all trash and it sounds like it came off of a showroom floor!!!

THIS is the best rehab in all of florida. When I came here I was broken and hopeless. Today I am full of life because of the treatment I received here. I’m a FHE Alumni and was asked to share my experience here. I love telling people about FHE and how it changed my life. My road to rehab was marked by grief and despair. From losing family members and custody of my children, everything was an excuse to keep using and digging my hole deeper. This really was a last chance for me. Through their doctors and counselors I’m now living a life I can be proud of and help others seek care before it cuts their life short- something happening all too often with fentanyl and other chemicals on the street these days. All in all, I don’t think you could find a better place to start your road to recovery. The proof is in the results, and that is my life. I’m leaving this review because they asked me to share what fhe has done for me, and that’s what they’ve done. Given me my life!

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but there are a couple reviews I saw on here that were so incorrect I had to address some of them. I can’t imagine the staff here being anything but attentive and caring for their patients. These are some of the nicest people I have ever met and put up with some incredible stress. Some people are talking about being here involuntarily. They must have the wrong facility. This is not a lockdown facility where they keep you here. I don’t know if they got the facility mixed up but their experience doesn’t describe what I did at all.

FHE was the 6nd treatment center I had been to. I can say without question that it is, without question, the most incredible treatment center available to you. I haven’t been to them all! But this is exactly what I and everyone I went with needed. Whether you’re coming off subs, benzos or opiates, this place has got you covered in detox. Where there the real magic happens is in the groups though. Any center can do detox (although the level of pain/discomfort will vary), but so many of them just stop there. The groups are led by some of the best people in recovery. They recognize the patterns and thinking and will call you out on it. They saved my life and that’s not an exaggeration.

Choosing to get treatment at fhe health was one of the best decisions of my life. I went there with a suboxone addiction a year and a half ago now. I was always treated with respect and consideration. The detox process was tapered and issue-free. There are constant groups available to attend as well as individual therapy. Some of the therapists are strong opinioned and will challenge you, but this worked for everyone that I saw. If you’re not going to take it seriously, it’s not going to work. I think they have the right approach. With some of their classes I felt like I was going to school to learn about this disease of addiction. I think S. FL as a whole has some pretty shady treatment centers, but that was not at all my experience here. Thank you FHE!!

Dr. Julia, Nick and Tim were my absolute life-savers. There experience with addiction and confronting me with my issues broke through my walls and made me get real about recovery instead of just placating them. They treated me with respect and care. After just a couple months of time we’ve seen so much improvement for their issues. It’s all thanks to the amazing team at FHE.

The clinical Director “Dr.J” is extremely passive aggressive and was constantly upsetting clients including myself for the duration of my stay. About a week into my stay Dr.J told me “he didn’t deal with people with problems like me and I needed to talk to someone else” It was that moment I was really disheartened and realized I was not valued as a patient nor was I being treated like one. My personal therapist who I never received an actual session with during my 4 week stay even voiced her concern about Dr.J to me. The brain mapping is a big selling point for them but is so unorganized I don’t know anyone while I was there that got any useful feed back and I can’t say I got any benefits…for the expense I can whole heartedly say there are certainly far better facilities than FHEYou absolutely cannot “assure me you show compassion and a healing environment”as I can attest to 4 weeks of first hand experience proving the contrary.

FHE Health is a wonderful place. There are plenty of classes and there is enough time for relaxation for some self reflection and connecting with myself. My time here really helped me take a new step in the right direction for life.

When we first contacted FHE, we were told about the wonderful compassionate experience my wife would experience. They will say anything to get you in. All the “right” answers to our questions. Holistic approach, yoga therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, etc.Then the reality when she got there. She went for panic disorder, ptsd, depression. They put everyone together regardless of your problem. My wife’s roommate heard voices and “saw things”. They immediately put everyone on heavy medications and treat you like you’re in prison. No personal items, one phone call, no recreation, no choices. From the director (Dr. Jay) on down they only want you semi conscious and compliant so they can collect their money and send you home. Therapist was more interested in her computer (billing codes) than talking to my wife. When she complained of reaction to the meds she was ignored. Even some of the staff says they can’t do anything. When my wife had enough and said she wanted to leave, they told her it was a long complicated process. Then when she persisted, they basically threw her stuff (that they had “held” for her) at her and told her she was on her own. She had to get UBER to the airport ($50) and I had to get her a plane ticket home. The upper management is arrogant, rude, and cold. This place is a “three ring circus”. Nothing but smoke and mirrors. They laugh and make faces about the patients and treat them like they are ignorant. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will be working with Blue Cross to have them removed from the network.

An individual close to me was at the height of their career in a high stress job. I was unaware of how they were abusing prescription medication that they started taking from an accident years ago as a way to deal with the stress they were hiding and facing. It all came crashing down and he nearly took his life. FHE Health went above and beyond to provide top quality care to him. They specialize in treatment for PTSD and substance abuse. If you are in a specialized field such as first responders I highly recommend you reach out to them. They have created a program where the brotherhood of this community is recognized and treated with respect.

Was far from happy being there at FHE the sun was great the head of the Nursing was great and the nurses in general.All the floor techs mostly great besides a cpl bad apples on the overnights.At intake they don’t separate anyone with serious mental health problems and lump everyone in one big playpen caused for a lot of stress drama potential fights etc! Be careful what you commit too as far as a stay as I agreed with 2 weeks in length and the case manager tried saying it was 5 weeks and if you leave early they basically give you your belongings and put you out on the curb without calling you a taxi Uber etc, I was more stressed there then when I was at home.As I said the Nurses and 90% off floor staff kitchen workers cleaners all excellent my overall experience wasn’t great got more in 2 days back home then I did there in 10 days of inpatient!

DO NOT COME HERE! Coming here was the worst mistake of my life. The admissions people lied just to get me here, and when I tried to bring it up to management, they could not have cared less. The techs here do nothing but play on their phones and vape then get rude and annoyed when you ask a question. The staff/therapists will straight up lie about meeting with you. You have to constantly pester them to get anything done. This place had made me feel so much worse. NEVER COME HERE!

A good friend of mine finally got scared enough about their alcohol use that they put themselves into treatment at fhe health. I did regular checkins with her because ive always been concerned about scams in this industry and because I was worried about my friend. I was always impressed with how well she was being taken care of and am absolutely impressed with the turnaround she has made. It seems like an incredible facility and we both recommend it if you are looking for a rehab that can address underlaying depression and anxiety issues. I’m sure it’s not easy to unroot your life and seek help for yourself, but I am so proud of who she is today and the better life she is able to give her family now.

Checking yourself or a loved one into inpatient therapy is no easy task, however, the staff at FHE made doing so 1000% easier. The techs and nurses are caring, kind, and friendly. The therapists, PA, and neuro staff are incredible. The programs and resources are life changing. Forever grateful.

I can not even tell you how much FHE has changed my life! I wont call it a facility; I call it a home! Techs are so supportive and kind! I came with severe anxiety (that I couldnt even drive) with PTSD, depression, eating disorder, and a tendency to self-medicate with alcohol. I found the support-circle for eating disorders mind-blowing, and the facilitator of the group is very knowledgeable and compassionate.I left with a family that I am still in contact with weekly. FHE does not just send you away; their alumni outreach in support on a regular basis.The food is amazing, the buildings and grounds are impeccably clean, and the treatment of the person as a whole is very unique. Yoga, acupuncture, massage, group therapy, medication regulation ... were all an integral part of my healing. I am able to focus on family, friends, and my job much more effectively. FHE made me believe in myself, and to accept my quirks as talents, actually.

The place is clean and comfortable, however the staff specifically the techs and counseling dept. are liars, they try to keep the client case loads by fraudulent adding false information to the families of the clients. i was very disappointed from what my family told me they reported of my behavior.

The doctors and therapists and nurses at fhe health understand the impact that family relations have on recovery and how it feeds into a loop of addiction and mental health issues I was impressed with the amount of attention that I got and will eternally be grateful for the treatment I received after years in a cycle of addiction a friend had told me about this location and I finally convinced myself to take the plunge to do it and I’m glad I did.

Before coming to fhe I was literally dead inside. Because of the intense therapy, and the amazing staff I truly found myself. Fhe gave me my life back! I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. It was a horrible experience for my son. They charged me $8000.00 for 9 days of NO SERVICE. They kicked him out because he could not handle going to group therapy. Is this not their job to help their patients handle things like group?Do not go to this facility. They are the most unprofessional group of people we have ever dealt with in 12 years of dealing with a sick child. Zero communication. Zero call backs. His therapist forgot to see him the whole first week. It was a nightmare for all of us.RUN from this place! They will steal as much money from you as they possibly can!I find it interesting your response to me is to call you to talk about our experience. When my son was there I called you all more times than I can count and NOONE ever returned my call. When I complained to Donnie about the thousands of dollars you overcharged us for very little treatment and since we had to pay so much up front I asked for some to be refunded when you kicked my son out for missing 2 groups- donnies response was to laugh and then hang up on me.So ya.....I sincerely doubt a phone call to you people will do anything. Kary was supposedly going to call me back which she never did nor did she respond to my emails.

I spent 52 days at FHE, without that place i’d be either dead or close to it. I was headed down a dark and scary road, till i went here and learned a better way to live. the staff was amazing caring and friendly, the therapist were knowledgeable and kind and really helped me. from the techs to Neurology staff, Gary the music guy everyone here was amazing and i’ll never be able to say thank you enough for saving my life.

This place is Amazing from the people who work outside to the inside staff. I couldnt be in a more caring facility. After thinking about it I came here to right a review to show my gratification. While the professionals where treating my mind, people Jill in the kitchen Professional catered to my love of sweet potatoes. I have never felt this way about food ever and in the condition I was in I have made a total rebound in the challenging times we are live in. If this place could be a 10 star, I say its one of best places I have been.

Yes the dr for acupuncture came once a week!!!!!Breathing technique therapist that has absolutely changed my life ....(learning how breathing can help with anxiety )I learned about the whole human person and balancing body, mind, soul and spiritWe had a nutritionist who has written books and she was really a wealth of information on food and vitaminsWe were allowed lots of breaks for anyone who smokesWe were able to call our family first daily on the landline phone then after 2 weeks we got our cell phone backWe were able to go to Publix nearby for groceries when we stayed in the apartments so we could prepare our mealsThere is a wonderful little restaurant on the FHE grounds for lunch or dinner ( it has limited hours) but the food was great there and I enjoyed a few lunches here and great coffeeThe beach is a 20 minute walk that I went everyday when I was going to the half days part of the therapyI also went to the FHE pool most days when I was on full daysFor anyone reading this review I would sayImagine getting the BEST TREATMENT IN THE WORLD and then imagine living in LUXURY beyond any vacation you could ever haveI absolutely loved this placeI felt so pampered here as well as getting the help I neededForever I will be grateful for my 60 days in Florida houseI hope this will help someone to choose this facility ! Horrible...they kicked my 19 year old son out on the street when he was trying to look for a sober living place on his phone. He was told he had to give up his phone or leave.. when he asked why they said it was a consequence.. consequence of what?? Trying to plan your future! The therapist was MIA and when my son asked to talk to her, she told him she was busy. Do NOT send your loved ones here. All they care about is your money and keeping your loved one there until the insurance runs out.

As I’m laying in bed right now 5 blocks from FHE I am still in awe. Next month will be 9 months sober from substance addiction. I choose to stay close as I view this as a home! The staff were like family of which I still hear and talk to daily. A lot of them know the struggles of the life’s we were in, but now by Gods grace we are truly living. As I face up coming struggles I am calm and ready for what comes knowing that I can handle it as long as I stay sober and talk to people that have went through the same things that I may endure. I am so thankful because this place gave me the knowledge to be able to use my wisdom to help others as well as myself. I cannot help but to express how awesome the alumni department and staff are. If you are willing to go or are trying to help someone have the realization of self worth and how loved they are no matter what they have done or what’s happened in there life, this is definitely the environment needed; you will find the most caring people in the world that have the greatest interest at heart and just want to see people recover from a hopeless state of mind and body. I spent a month in February here. Starting at detox. Then I went to the residential facility and briefly in outpatient. The insurance covered most of my stay and they have not been aggressive about payments. The facility, grounds and staff were wonderful. I needed the insulated environment to get on my feet. It takes time, but I think Im coming into my own again and getting my life back.

We found Florida house experience (FHE) after unsuccessfully sending a loved one to several treatment centers (more like flop houses). He was living couch-to-couch, stealing, basically homeless. Its been a couple years now and he is completely different. Hell tell you how hard it was and still is, but I think we owe it to finding the right place to get him started.

The Florida House saved my life 8 years ago and I still come back as an alumni. Love this place!!!

This place is causing not only myself, but my family a great deal of distress, and frequently threatens to not allow you to leave with the medications they put you on, if you ever come to a point in treatment where you realize you arent receiving the appropriate help. Dont check in here if you unless you have a court ordered date that save you from getting stuck here, cause they WILL benefit from using up the money on your insurance policy plan as much as possible.

I was on the mental health side of FHE , the techs and counselors were great . You hardly saw a doctor for more than a minute. Treatment did not help, keep looking and reading reviews.

Where do I begin except i guess FHE gave me a second chance at my life and helped me learn from my mistakes and about myself in healthy ways. I was scared to death walking into intake knowing I would give my 100% to the program becauseMy way of living wasnt working or healthy or who I wanted to be. You need to be ready and open to help and you will succeed in so many ways I found... life will never be perfect but my new beginning that I received my wanting to be the better version of me FHE showed me how to find her...... every step of the way and now ...I left FHE with knowing who I am....honesty .and a new family I will forever have in my life.. .not even just the other residents ...staff ... cleaners.....stores etc Gas stations ..omg never smoked so much in my life but i wouldnt change one thing 260 days sober ......Thank you Thank u God for blessing me with my second home. ... ❤❤🙏❤☕🍟🍕🌮

At Florida House I have experienced how I can live a whole new life, free of addiction. The doctors, therapists and staff truly care about you. The process from Detox through Intensive Outpatient Program is amongst the best! I found the Family Week one of the best experiences of my life. I also highly recommend the Sober Skills program, for men who truly want to learn how to live in recovery. You will find everything you need at Florida House Experience; to not only be sober, but learn what it is to live happy, joyous and free of all addiction and find recovery!

FHE helped me regain clarity and put me back on the right path after having relapsed with 5 years sober. Scott G and Dr. Tucker are incredible. If you go to FHE and have one of them as your therapist, consider yourself extremely fortunate. Julia, Dr. Castellon, and at least 5 other employees saved my life after they found me unresponsive in my first 24 hours there. I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for so many of these people. I strongly recommend FHE for detox, residential, PHP, and IOP.With that being said, I do have a grievance about the director of the sober skills program. If I could rate SS I would give it one star. Art Jacob doesn’t have a problem divulging private information about previous clients to other patients. There are people on the bottom of the payroll who are ten times more professional than this man. Sober Skills is a cash pay ONLY program (usually for people without insurance) and also only accepts male patients, where they take people through the 12 steps of either AA or NA. While I think the concept is wonderful, the way Art forces the program goes against AA traditions. Tradition 6- “An A.A. group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the A.A. name to any related facility or outside enterprise, lest problems of money, property, and prestige divert us from our primary purpose.“Art guilt trips vulnerable people into spending their last few thousand dollars on this program by telling them there’s an 88% success rate, as well as telling clients the exact names of previous people who have gone out after the residential and PHP program that have relapsed. If I had any executive authority over FHE, I certainly wouldn’t want a staff member preaching how the program that IS covered by insurance doesn’t work.Art is upset that I told him no to sober skills and has been trying to slander my name. Thankfully, people know me better than the vile things Art tried to speak of me. They also know that I worked the steps three times in my five years sober, and I discharged from FHE and got right back to my meetings and found a sponsor my first day out.If anyone is considering rehab just to dry out, of course it won’t work. The 12 steps are free to work, but you must be willing to go to any length for your sobriety. Going to meetings, getting a sponsor, working the steps thoroughly, and eventually sponsoring others and taking them through the steps WILL keep you sober. Once I stopped doing that, I relapsed after multiple years of sobriety. Thank God I was given another chance, and thank God for the people at FHE who played a significant role in helping me establish my foundation again

This is the most amazing treatment center Ive been to. Everyone of the techs, councilors, therapists, case managers and everyone else were absolutely amazing. I also met some great, true friends in my 40 day day here.

I couldnt recommend a better place to go to rehab for drug addiction and mental health. All the staff here are absolutely amazing and they make it their mission to make everyone feel right at home. Everyone here is truly dedicated to helping the clients and I couldnt be more satisfied with my stay here, except for being able to stay longer. Thank you all at Florida House Experience for helping me find myself again, helping me learn to love myself again, and including me in your alumni family... Definitely the best decision i made in my life was to come to FHE July 2019. Thanks you guys.

There are a lot of bad and downright dangerous treatment centers out there. I went to a few thinking they had my best interest in mind. THEY DID NOT. I was referred to Florda house from someone in the rooms, and when I needed help again I gave them a shot. You think every time will be your last time. I dont know what was different this time, but it worked. Florida house was different! But something clicked for me this time around. The techs and the therapists looked out for me and I still see some of them around. It inspired me to get into helping others facing their demons. Florida house changed my life. By the time I was making my way back out into the world (which was a long time for me lol), I was confident. I knew what my hangups were. I had a structure in place I could retreat to if I was in trouble. Its beautiful.

My friend recently voluntarily checked herself into their center for depression. She spent a lot of money and missed work to get help from a reputable place and they were awful to her. She wanted to leave (which should be her right Bc she checked herself in) but they baker acted her and had a cop place her in handcuffs to take her to a different hospital where she was kept involuntarily for six days! A normal baker act is up to 72 hours...they kept her even though she was not in danger of hurting herself. She was treated like a criminal and they absolutely made her depression worse. I suggest going to a different place that is more caring about people’s mental health Rather than just getting paid their exorbitant fees.

FHE set me up with the best therapist and doctors for my anxiety I have ever seen. Ive always had trouble finding a connection with healthcare people but they worked great for me. Im back with my family taking it one day at a time.

Pete Marinelli and Art are con men.Dragged me from NY took 21 grand from me to live in their house and did nothing for me or anyone around me. They even stole my belongings. Don’t do it, I’m telling you.

The medical team was just outstanding! I got to meet with Dr Julia as well as Kim, the nutritionist, on several occasions when I was only there for 2 weeks. I definitely feel that I received the 1:1 attention and care that I needed. Besides the medical staff, the techs on the detox side were very helpful and approachable. They were a pleasure to be around. Overall, I had a nice experience and received the help that I needed.Thank you all at the Florida House!

The accommodations are great, the staff are highly skilled and compassionate, and the results speak for themselves. Overall, you couldnt find a better place for help to fulfill your potential.

I dont know anyone who can honestly say their rehab stay was amazing. By the time most people end up in rehab, like me, you are in a bad spot and not in a loving place. Like any program treatment program, it works if you work it. I may have had some problems with my treatment but you cant argue with results.

Florida House was where my journey in sobriety began and continues to be an essential part of my recovery today. I’ve been to other treatment centers as a patient and as a visitor and the genuine love and support from the entire staff at Florida House is unparalleled. Beyond the period of the treatment Florida House continues to provide for their patients through an AMAZING alumni program. In my personal experience getting out of treatment would have been a lot more difficult if it weren’t for the weekly alumni meetings where I could find familiar and always friendly faces. The alumni program offers so many opportunities to be of service which is a key component of long term sobriety and I am extremely grateful to be able to give back to such an amazing treatment facility.

I was there back when hurricane sandy hit. My experience was great. They really help you learn how to deal with your addictions. The staff is very friendly and helpful the counselors are amazing. If you are truly serious about getting your life back i would highly recommend going to THE FLORIDA HOUSE EXPERIENCE.

I had to get back on here and rate this place again. After not seeing my previous post this place is amazing and of course Jill in the kitchen makes me hungry when Im really not. Not only are the sweats amazing , other options and grill cheeze is available for Who dont eat meat.

I was a formal patient at this location and my experience was the most shocking and unfair.Some staff was really rude and they won’t try to accommodate you.The food was ok, but sometimes I felt like I was eating jail food.When I moved to residential house the pictures online don’t show that the rooms look like a cheap motel, they didn’t even have closet doors they’re curtains.They took us to Publix to get our food and was very expensive to go there so we were short on food because of the of shopping.Wendy was my therapist and in a month and a half that I was there I NEVER had a face to face therapy session, including the fact that she looks like she’s on drugs.She never had time for her patients and her schedule was at late afternoon for weird reason.Even thou she knew I was planning my discharge date she didn’t talked to me and she was there the night before so I end up leaving against medical advice (AMA).All the money we spend to be there should cover patients expectations.Oh and by the way the confused my meds I almost took someone else!I hope that they don’t erase my review.

I have worked in the substance abuse field for 24 years in many settings across South Florida. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work at the Florida House Experience and it has been a rewarding and enriching experience. The primary focus at this facility is patient care, with no exceptions. There are many demands on a treatment facility and The Florida House Experience overcomes them all to provide these struggling people and their families with a life changing opportunity. I cant imagine working anywhere else, and its where I would send anyone I care about for help.

My time at the Florida house was very informative. I learned a lot about myself, about the addiction And how to deal with it. The people that work at Florida house experience Really care about recovery and helping people. The time I was there some problems arose and some people were not happy . Well the owner showed up and actually talked to everybody individually to see what he could do to help. I don’t know about other places or other rehabs But for him to show up at 2 AM really shows what kind of people that works there are like. that gentleman really really cared. He actually went out on his own to get stuff for people personally. Like I said the staff in the Florida house really care the medical part, The therapists the counselors case managers and liaisons between the different unions and different facilities that use FHE. I highly recommend FHE. for any one that has the substance problem, whether it be yes alcohol or drugs or even mental Issues. I was glad to experience it it’s good to know that there’s a place like that to go for help. I made a lot of friends at FHE. Janet, Matt, Kyle, Jim, Dana. Sharif everyone I will definitely miss them all but I’m glad to know that they’re there if I need them If you have a problem and you’re looking for a place to go this is definitely the place. After many years of struggle, my brother attended the Florida House Experience about 3 years ago and his life has done a complete 180. It has changed not only his life, but the lives of everyone around him, including the Florida House and local community. Hes become a better person since his recovery and someone I look up to every day. I thank this place every day for giving me the big brother I always wanted and needed, as well as giving my brother the life he deserves.

This place saved my life. gave me the opportunity to learn a different way to live. If you really want to clear your head and get on the right path to recovery this is the right place. They really care about your well being. and take the time to make sure your after treatment plane helps you stay on the right path to recovery I recommend this place to everybody I know who is in need of these kind of services.

We provide a complete continuum of care, ranging from detox to residential, day treatment, as well as intensive outpatient, evening outpatient and aftercare. I feel very grateful and blessed to be a part of such a strong team who dedicate their lives to helping others with addiction and integrate them into recovery.

I dont think id be here today without florida House. Dr nelson, titus, and so many of the techs were so important to helping me complete the program - especially when I wanted to give up and leave. My family initiated my stay here for help with depression and panic attacks. We had tried typical counseling before but nothing as intense as this. I was pretty concerned about it at first, but Im glad I made this decision. Absolutely recommend FHE

Let me start out by saying that there are different stages of treatment at FHE. The first one is residential, which is meant to stabilize you. It drove me a little bit crazy because I felt like I was locked down. However the staff there, especially Tammy, do an exceptional job and go above and beyond to make the best of your stay. The reason I am only giving one star is the next stage(php). I am currently staying in the 6 story apartments, which is where you stay when you are in PHP,IOP,and OP. Some of the techs here do a great job at trying their best to meet your needs,despite having close to a 1 to 20 tech to client ratio. But most are unapproachable, confrontational, and just straight up rude(especially corrin and jessi).They act like correctional officers instead of counselors. It sets an extremely negative vibe for the whole facility, and I am definitely not the only one here who thinks this. I understand that their jobs are stressful but taking their anger out on clients is definitely not the solution. Me and other clients that are currently here have gotten comments such as thats not my problem and well Ive got better things to do. I will most definitely be going to IOP elsewhere. Its a shame because the therapy groups and medical staff have actually helped me in ways that many other facilities have not been able to. But the living situation is far from the bare minimum, and makes it extremely difficult for me to continue making progress.Also, this is a repost because FHE recently took a bunch of reviews(including mine) off its page.

The Florida House Experience gave me the foundation I needed to build my new life of creativity,without using drugs or alcohol. What I learned at The Florida House (at 45), was how to live life fully as a responsible, self-supporting adult! Theres no better feeling than looking in the mirror each day and truly feeling blessed that youre alive. Thanks for everything!!

Example: I have extreme tooth/gum pain in the left, roof area of my mouth. After numerous calls, I was able to secure an appointment for 2 pm. However, the tech staff would not take me to the appointment; told me to wait until tomorrow; that I shouldnt bother people on Christmas.Did I want this pain today? I could have a stroke today. It looks like that is what it will take. Dangerous here, stay away. Tech lead will say I didnt want to go. No: I knew they wouldnt take me. Stay away.

Some people dont realize that the reason patients dont use the phone for a while and when they do, its for 10 minutes because talking to the outside world will distract them from their recovery, which is what theyre there for. Also, the strict rules are made and enforced to put balance and responsibility back into your day, which is something almost every addict lasts. This is the absolute best rehab someone will EVER go to....

It is amazing. Staff and Clinicians have treated me with Respect and care, With my family and I. Everyone is amazing so many people there to help and guide you along your journey. I came through florida house back in October and its been a great experience, everyone is very helpful and friendly. It changed my life in many ways and i never wanted to leave. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a changing life experience . Florida house family for ever!!

The buildings and staff are nice. I was at the Deerfield detox and stayed residential.

The detox is actually very nice. They have good food and TV In the bedrooms. The staff is nice and the small groups were good. However across the street on the php side and outpatient, I do not recommend.

The Florida house experience is a top-notch facility ready to care for all your behavioral Health needs and the first responders program is absolutely an awesome experience that saved my life.

This place saved my sons life. They provided a safe environment and lots of support to my son and our family so we could get through this. I highly recommend it.

Youll never find people more committed to recovery and the care of each individual patient than at the Florida House. If I didnt believe it, I couldnt work there. Each and every day, I am overwhelmed by the team at Florida House, and what it takes to do what we do. If you or your loved one needs help, this is where you / they WILL get better!

This place is a rip off!!! All they care about is how they can charge your insurance. They sent me a bill for over 3k in co payments, how is someone just trying to get their life back together going to pay that! Turns your family against you and forces you into a halfway house. This place is a well oiled machine that know all the angles to rip off you and your insurance. Ive never been more disrespected before in my life by the staff. Theres much better places out there. This one needs to be investigated. Stay away!

Florida House Experience not only saved my life but has changed my life. It was my first detox and treatment, I completed the program and I have stayed sober ever since! It was always a painful struggle trying to quit my addiction and I was one of those people that never thought I could stop using and stay sober. I was hopeless. It was Florida House that showed me I was worth something. They NEVER EVER gave up on me. All of the staff was loving and caring and gave me the stepping stones in order to better my life. I will never be able to thank Florida House enough for saving my life, they showed me love until I learned to love myself.

Not only me, but my whole family got better with the help of everyone at Florida House. They take it serious, but they still understand that addicts are human. Would send my own wife, daughter, son, father here. Thank you FloHo!!

I would have to say - the Florida House Detox Center may well be one of the best in the country. The Experience or residential treatment is not. I was kind of railroaded into going into the residential treatment - I had requested outpatient treatment as I lived locally and still had to run my business. I was told I could meet with my husband and he could help run my business. Once I arrived - I was introduced to a therapist that was rude - condescending - and did not seem to have a clue. He also lied to me and my husband. As did the intake person at Florida House. All they want to do is get as much money from you as they can. The residential program is geared toward young women and is more like a sorority. The lodging was intolerable. The picture they paint on their website is misleading at best. I had to leave. They also would not let me retrieve my goods - but brought them down to me. And I was not allowed to go through them - and clothing items were missing as well as paperwork - blow dryer - etc. I would not recommend it.

My experience at Florida House for PHP and then their Sober Skills program was a life changer for me. In 15 days, I will have 3 years clean & sober. I didnt always (read rarely) understand their directions and motives but I listened and followed instructions - It worked! I couldnt be more grateful for the time I spent at FHE.

I was very afraid when I got to the Florida House. I was skeptical. The staff during my intake was very professional. I did my detox at home, so I didnt do it at The Florida House. My DOC was Xanax. They do a taper detox with Valium. Its very effective from what I heard from other patients. The staff is there to help you make the transition. I also got to know other people in my exact situation. I experienced no judgement from staff. I felt comfortable. I also was glad to get into group therapy and start to figure out what my issues were. The therapists were ALL fabulous. I have zero complaints about anyone. I transferred across the street to an apartment with 3 roommates. We all worked together to help each other. Every day there is a routine and makes you feel safe. The brain part of my rehab was SO interesting. I liked doing it and I believe it works well. Every activity is designed to help you. No question. I was there for 2 months. Still clean since Jan 12th, 2017.Any questions please ask me.

The Florida House took me from living in my car and hopeless with no insurance or a penny to my name and with love and compassion allowed me to go thru detox , residential treatment and PHP and IOP They also provided money every week for food . Without a doubt I was dying when I walked in at 164 lbs with all the guilt and shame I carried you would think I would have weighed a ton. And there is what I learned from the wonderful therapists is that guilt and shame and of course my enourmous ego was the problem , the using but a symptom. Today because of the Florida houses compassion allowing me the time to heal physically mentally and spiritually I am a healthy happy man. My children thank you and as for myself words couldnt begin to describe my gratitude. If The Florida House can help me get my life back on track , they can help anyone !

I would recommend this place if youre not coming off of benzos...... Other than that, for the limited time I was there. The place was decent... I could go on about the pros and cons, but the fact that nobody there knew how to taper someone off of benzos, specifically was the worst part. I still look back at that as being one of the top worst experiences in my life. Definitely made me less hopeful in that area. Especially because it was my first time at a treatment center. This was in 2016. I dont know how much has changed since. Specifically when it comes to benzo withdrawal. I was only there for about a week or two before I started having seizures etc. Ended up in the hospital and decided I was done.

I attended Florida House almost 3 years ago (feb 2012). It was the 5th treatment center I had attended. I can truly say today that without the incredible staff at the Florida House (top to bottom) I would not be where I am today. The Florida House made me feel at home even though I was 1200 miles away from where I lived. I now call South Florida home and know that no matter what I can continue to rely on the Florida House for continued support. I would highly recommend this environment to anyone struggling with addiction or alcoholism.
