The offer a variety of services, mental health, addiction, housing, and more. Some services are free to those who qualify. I wouldnt be able to afford the great healthcare they provide! Awesome people with life changing skills.

I love the reception customer service but as for therapy and a doctor I can not wait until I get health insurance. It’s been ok for the time being but I need people who take their jobs in mental health more serious. I feel like this place has helped as far as when I had no income but now that I’m getting insurance I would not recommend this place if you can afford to go elsewhere. Hopefully I will have insurance by August or sooner so I can transition out.

Mixed reviews. The CssB does a lot to not offend without really giving excellent and direct care. It’s free care and you expect little and likewise come away with, a piece of a puzzle in a very high appeal area with many educated jobs and medical personnel. with four campuses and a lot of out reach. It takes a while to see there isn’t much ( going on). While Im not out to write a unfavorable review. The fact is a lot of the weakness exist here but they can deflect it into the county and area etc without it being acute. I’ve been around a lot of programs. And the key here is it’s free or pay as you can. I find the kinds of therapist ate those that ate treating themselves. Your good for about 2-3 visits unless you just want to add some structure. If it’s gonna be free based. MAKE IT FREE BASED. poor program . sorry crew

They have an exceptional board of people

I was throwing up water this morning, with a sharp pain on my side.During this time I missed a call from the psychologist for my 10 am appointment in which I waited I think a month to receive.I called the number back and Asia answered the phone and said the doctor would call me back. I asked her what is the time frame and she said she didn’t not know. I told her I need to know and I reminded her she should find out because she is not a puppet ( this is a true statement) she then hung up on me for no reason.

Be prepared to wait the wait is so long you might not have an appointment that day. They do not answer the phones and they seem like they dont care.its inner city so they get a lot of people who are in hard situations and are numb to the situations that people are in the pharmacy is great

They were supposed to help my son to transition into services after detox but left him to no help and hopeless again.

To unorganized they dont give you all the information you or all that you need to handle your business.

My housing caseworker told me this job was her ministry. Then she told me I am not suffering from clinical depression, but being possessed by the devil. Then she told her other clients in the apartment complex that I was evil. The physicians and some of the therapists are good but the housing people are in no way professional. If you are of the wrong religion they will kick you out.

The ACT team is suppose to help the most severe mental health patients in Dekalb County. They dont. They told me my brother wasnt that serious because he doesnt think hes Jesus. Yes you read that correctly. Thats what a licensed professional with a degree told me. Four days later my brother took his own life. Dont trust these people with the care of your loved ones.

I am profoundly upset and angry that after THREE visits I have yet to see an actual medical professional who has the ability to prescribe medication. In the THREE visits I have made were to fill out the EXACT same forms I have already completed and answer the exact same questions in the prior visit. Absolutely ZERO sense of urgency. In the second and third visits I was coping with extreme pain and a very swollen left foot that was completely ignored. I have ZERO faith in the DeKalb CSB doing anything to get me into see a medical professional. Their staff has lied to me every time I have been there and they are fully aware that I have NOT had healthcare since June 22 2016 and desperately need to see a doctor NOW. They simply do care that I am suffering in ways I could never thought possible. In my mind DeKalb CSB should be closed. They are only using the taxpayers for a fool. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Im just so tired of it theyre theyre going to do this thing theyre going to do that they never get to it weve been gone six months till now what havent done anything yet
