Her knowledge of how to read your body, your sore muscles, where you hold tension, etc. is incredible and I always feel like a new person afterward... Amazing!! The Ultimate package was “ The Package”!!! I wanted a deep tissue massage because my neck and traps was very tense and Myrna found that it was more than that!! I have been fortunate to have had close family friends who were experts that taught and certified massage therapists (in Chicago,) where the latest and traditional techniques were provided.However, over the past couple of months, my lower back pain has become an issue; the initial consultation/assessment enabled Myrna the ability to identify the area with proficiency and ultimately maximize the outcome in my lumbar region. Specifically, Myrna incorporated varied techniques, combining: Deep-Tissue, Subtle Muscle Strengthening with Swedish, Thai Stretches, Reflexology, Hot Towels and Aromatherapy. The 90 minute session ended with a small demonstration of how to relieve, stretch and work out this area, post the massage before our next session.As noted on her pain-management website page; Myrna incorporated aspects of neuromuscular therapy; releasing the chronic pain I had been experiencing over the past couple of months!I am excited about the ongoing treatments over the next six weeks; for she is providing simple exercises/stretching techniques that will allow me to keeping this condition in check.What should be noted, the owner (Myrna) was an Registered Nurse, which I feel has greatly enhanced her capabilities by understanding the anatomy from a perspective not commonly found with the majority of massage therapists, certified in today’s market share; abilities for which, I’ve come to respect as a client.Myrna truly knows what she is doing!
