The worst in home care company in all of North Alabama!!! Was with this company over 6 months and has nothing but the worst experience possible. Their Caregiver allowed my dad dog to babysit him, he got outside and traveled on foot over a mile buck naked down the Beltine!! They then sent a Licensed Cna out who was wonderful but that only lasted over a week. On the final occasion the paramedics were called cause they sent two unlicensed and unskilled caregivers here who dropped my dad in the shower floor 4 days after surgery busting his Incision back open. They are also contracted through the Va and Medicare program which is awful decision for a government agency.

My Mother was treated so poorly by their caregivers. She is a dementia patient and she was abused severely. On several occasions she was left with bruises on her face and due to the fact of her condition we can’t prove it but we went with Right At Home and that experience has been nothing but Amazing!!! They charge the same rates and guarantee that someone who is highly trained and backgrounds has been ran will come and service you daily as expected. This company did not show up on several occasions and when they did it was always a different person.

Elder Care of North Alabama in Decatur is the worst company to have take care of your family member. They are contracted with the VA and I feel sorry for the people who must use them due to this. We have been using them for months and have voiced multiple concerns with no resolution. Due to a scheduling change, I was told that they could not accommodate our new schedule because the schedule we needed was “against their policy”. However, they lied to my mother and I because the real reason is because they are understaffed. When I called to discuss the situation, I was berated by the office manager and my parents were dismissed by the company. So be wary of this company when choosing someone to care for your parents. -Jennifer G.

Great service and staff!!

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever known in my life! No shows for work on the weekend and nobody calls to tell you they’re sending a replacement or anything! I will be calling the head boss and the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can complain to you about this company! Do not use them!
