My visit was less than pleasant. My time with the doctor was maybe 5min 7 min tops. Showed no real concern for my illness. The wait was extremely long just to be dismissed after 5min. I asked for the doctor to check one more thing and he showed anger and frustration when i did. The nurses when you come in are not friendly either. Said they were charging me just to share the results of my labs on the phone with no detailed information again the call was less than 3min. Not to mention the doctors mask was not covering his nose the whole time. Will not come here again and will not recommend anyone else to

I absolutely love the doctor who works here. He is quick, thorough and highly personable and friendly. If I lived in GA I’d want him as my primary doctor. The nurses are usually quite pleasant and friendly, as well. I never wait longer than a half hour in the waiting room.

I went there because I had swelling in my leg and foot, I set up an appointment I was there five minutes and already seeing the doctor. He spend time with me explained everything, gave me some options. He knew I didnt have insurance so when the time came I needed three medications he went out of his way to find a good alternative that was inexpensive. really appreciated that most doctors wont do that. I was very happy with this place, the staff was nice they were quick and felt like they were looking out after me. My leg is improved dramatically in 3 days definitely will go back. Thank you for your good service.

This place is awful. Go elsewhere. I made an appointment a week prior for 9:15. I showed up at 9 to be early. I wasnt seen until 1030. The nurses and doctors were not wearing thier masks properly. The one nurse who did my vitals managed to slip in a transphobic joke too. When I did see the doctor, it was brief. Seriously, just go elsewhere for primary care. Im not looking for anything special from a PCP, but Trader Joes has better covid precautions.

I had such a positive and great experience at the Primary Care Center in Decatur Georgia! A big shout out and thank you to Natasha and to Dr. Ryan Risley for treating my son so quickly and effectively when he came down with strep throat. We had just arrived in Atlanta from Lexington Kentucky where we live, to visit family and then we were going to the beach the next day when my son came down with a fever and it was obvious he had an infection in his throat. Both my aunt and uncle are patients at this location and highly recommended it-especially both Natasha and Dr. Risley. They got us back right away and they both took such good care of my son-even covering him up due to his chills from his fever. With such excellent immediate care he was already feeling better within 48 hours and able to have fun with his family and friends at the beach! Thank You So Much Dr. Ryan Risley and Natasha! If we lived in Atlanta this is who we would come to for patient care!!

Ive been coming down with something, and I just moved to the area, so I found this place on Google. The reviews were decent enough for me to give it a try. Even as a new patient, I was in and out in about an hour/ hour and a half. The doctor was funny, diagnosed me, and sent me on my way. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I went on a Thursday around lunch, but I can definitely see how you would be there much longer if you were to come during flu season or on a weekend. I will definitely be back!

I have been a patient of the Primary Care Center since its inception. I have weathered through their ups and downs, great physicianassistants and some not so great, receptionist that are over their heads and some that are incredible.To now in this pandemic times where I am required to sit for an appointment every 3 months ( which I understand) to now a physician assistant DR? who barely did anything but listen to my chest-no ears, no nose, no visual review. So- I am being required to come in to talk with the new physician assistant to review my blood work which is done every 3 months so I can get my meds. Since the old crew of David , Willy and the previous crew was furloughed to receive unemployment I am disappointed in not getting a call back or my meds being filled. This is not my issue it is their issue so read my 18 years of charts!I have not been notified if my blood work is in or if there was an issue which is a normal protocol.In the past if all is normal my meds are called in if there is an issue they call me to please come in. It has been 3 weeks and no call or notification. I have asked for the PA to call me and there is nothing.Dr Chandra seems to be retired and without David I do not feel comfortable coming into the physical building unless it officially is required. I have stated I am uncomfortable going in as a well person because of the pandemic.So I am going to communicate to my Insurance Company as well as Corporate for Primary Care Center and take other drastic measures and finding a new Dr.Very Sad

Young black male nurse answered my question with an irrelevant “like I said, we just took our last patient at 5:30” when I was already setting up an appointment for the following day. Sorry you were too dumb to understand generic question of “are you guys a lot busier with Covid...?”

Normally Im not the type of person who would write reviews for any company, because Im so busy and I never have time.But I was so impressed with this place, that I wanted to share my experience with other people.I do not like going to the doctors office and generally tough out my ailments, but this one time I thought I was getting dehydrated and needed some IV fluids.I almost went to the emergency room, but instead I called this place to find out whether they can give me IV fluids, to my surprise they said yes.Doctor agreed with me that because of severe diarrhea for a few days I was badly dehydrated. I could see the concern on his face, his main goal was to keep me out of the hospital and the emergency room and fix me. They started IV fluid within minutes, kept me there for 4 hours and gave me couple of bags of IV fluids. By then it was 10 oclock at night and they close at 9 oclock. Dr and the whole staff stayed behind after locking the door to take care of me and giving me blankets to keep me warm. Not once I saw frustration or agitation in their faces.When I checked out I felt like a new person I felt so much better, thanks to these people who really care.So I thought they at least deserve a few minutes of my time to write this review.Hope this helps..in my book they are more than 5 stars.

I am currently in a waiting room at this sorry excuse for an urgent care. Came in for stomach pain I have no insurance so I paid $150 upfront I’ve not been here for 2 hours, been in the smaller waiting room waiting on a doctor about an hour and 15 mins. I asked a nurse walking by when will I be seen because it’s been 2 hours he comes in and says everything in my urine looked fine does it hurt when I push down on my stomach I told him yes he says well that’s now good & proceeds to just walk out of the room???! If that’s not good why the hell is it taking over 2 hours to be seen by a doctor ? I have never been to an urgent care that took even half this long. Nurses have been incredibly rude & short. Doctor seems to be non existent. I am so unbelievably unsatisfied with this urgent care. I’m paying full price you would think they’d at least try to help me what a huge waste of money and time I could’ve gone to the ER and been seen way faster. Like one of the other reviews said if you love to waste your time & be treated like u don’t matter this is the place for you!! P.S. been here 2 hours only 4 people in waiting room when I walked in. Like tell me how that works please????

Worst experience waited for 2 hours just to see a doctor and could not assist me with my medical needs. Unprofessional and did not see anyone changed gloves.

Dr. David Nguyen is absolutely great. He always listens to me and explains everything going on with clarity. There are several good doctors there but I always choose him.

They do not return phone calls to me or to the pharmacy. They insist on one seeing a doctor personally for another $92 to write a prescription, even once the doctor has received lab results. Nicole the office manager does not return phone calls. Laquaya stated that the primary care center is a private business and they can run it any way they want. Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I love going here. Rapid service and nice attitude. Way better than stone mountain immediate care. Strongly recommended.

SLOW! Usually come here as it is close. But, today is MY LAST visit. A lady came in after me was taken back before me she left 40 minutes ago and I still havent been seen. Ive been here 2 hours and counting. If you dont mind wasting your life waiting this is the place for you.

I was here twice in the year of 2016. The first doctor that saw me was pretty good. Today, not so much. I was stuck waiting in a patient room for over an hour. Just for some prices of tests. Then, someone completely different from whom I had spoken to, comes into the office and says I owe 500 for tests, they didnt even perform. I was so fed up I just left, with no help. Ill get my tests for 500 elsewhere, with a friendlier and quicker staff with communication skills.

EXTREMELY rude staff....Intake nurse very rude & condescending. Center was supposed to open at 9am. Staff showed up at 10:15am. No apologies for lateness or waiting. Will NEVER come here again. The only flipside to this place is Dr. David was really nice & knowledgeable. Thats about all i can give them.

Just left out, and I must say the young lady at the front desk could of been a lot more attentive. On the phone I do understand because people call in, but communicate and say something more and explain what it is you need me to do... Simple basic skills that everyone should know. She made it very obvious she didnt want to work this Saturday. I wouldnt come back.

Lazy works they didn’t send my refil in for my inhaler so I had to go to the emergency room due to a simple error.

I personally call ahead of time to anyplace like this and when I say the has me on hold for 45 full minutes and never came to the phone its ridiculous. With all these bad ratings and seriously mishandled receptionist Im going to move forward and call corporate they should be ashamed of not being able to help people while they are sick seeing its the job or career u accepted .

I like the convenience. I like being able to come when my Primary Care doctor is unavailable. I like the extended hours and that you’re open on the weekends. This is my third of fourth visit.

I just walked in an hour before closing. The lady told me they cant see me just to get me out of work. I work in federal fire. Ive been on five different fires in three states in the last week. I wanted some assistance and for someone to give a formal notice to my employer that I cannot work tomorrow. They told me that they couldnt see me. Furthermore, they told me its Sunday. Blue cross blue shield is closed so we cant verify your insurance. Are you serious? Its 2017. I cant go to any office in this country and get my insurance verified because its Sunday?If you folks wanted to leave work right at 6, why didnt you say so. Quit telling people no and do your job.

Ive been going here for about 2 years. They have been through at least 4 Nurse practitioners. All of the staff are friendly but Id like to see someone stay. Ive only had 1 bad experience where the front desk staff was not there and the waiting room was crowded. Overall, its a great place to go when you have nowhere else to go after 5pm

Being going here for years now . I actually come from out of town to get treatments, anytime I need them. People complain about the wait.... its a regular primary care center plus a walk in urgent care.If you come in and you see no one at the desk have patients. They do alot of multitasking . If youre having chest pain immediately go to the emergency room. Overall this place is great..😀🙌

Excellent Care Center,Ive been coming to see Dr. Shikh for 12 years, And the staff is also excellent, Like they state they treat people and not just diseases. Im a male and I have no problem with coming in and getting check ups, So, If your looking for a doctor and a staff that your happy to see even if your sick this is the place for you, The Primary Care Center is A+++++ in my books

Walked in to a vacant Check-In desk with three other patients in the waiting room. Had been waiting for someone to return to the Check-In desk for 20 minutes. I asked the patients how long they had been waiting and they said 35 minutes. I took it upon myself to fill out the paperwork and have a seat. I waited another 5 minutes until I decided to call the main line. When the gal picked up I informed her she had four patients in the waiting area that needed assistance. Two patients decided to leave. Five minutes later, the check-in receptionist finally showed up. There are two of us left still waiting to be seen. So far, the one patient has now been here for almost 40 minutes and has yet to be seen. There are no other cars in the parking lot and no one in front of her. Worst. Primary care service. EVER.

One star is not good enough for this location. They do not understand insurance and may me self pay a bill for $400 dollars instead of processing my Humana insurance. They said that it was just company policy since I was in a car accident. I was physically hurt and needed to see a doctor right away, so I had no choice but to pay the bill. Later they still refused to file the claim with my insurance company. I am working to get the information from them so I can file it myself, but they seem reluctant to do that as well.My issue is with the front desk staff and not the Doctors. The Doctors are good. The reason that I will not go back is because of their staff.

Dr. Daniel McCarthy was the absolute best! He has the best conversation and he really knows his medical stuff!!! He handles complaints well and dont mind putting a realistic spend on medicine.Thanks Doctor Dan!!!

The Primary Care Center is the greatest I’ve been coming for a few years now and they greet you personal They are very kind to their patients and they focus on your medical needs They are very knowledgable of you meds and very informative My Nurse was MIA today and she has an absolute great personality very patience kind They are the best I highly recommend them.

Got a same day appointment for a work physical. Staff extremely helpful and also nice, from receptionist to phlebotomist to nurse to physicians assistant. Bravo PCC team.

Its alright for an urgent care. When I walked in at 8:55am (they open at 9) there were only three people ahead of me and one required only a nurse visit. I did not see a doctor until 10:45am. Before they would conduct a strep test they made me pay in advance, even though I had insurance. As in they came into the room, took my debit card and came back with a receipt before waiting an additional 20 minutes for someone to come do the test. An hour after I left my prescription still wasnt called in. I know urgent care facilities are not the greatest option but the wait is what kills me!

Every time I come in, I feel important and like my health is priority. I’m proud to make this center my Primary Care location.

Nicole Hall the office manager is so rude and nasty. Her attitude is that of a uneducated , untrained big mouth . Who dont even know about insurance or her job. She insulted me because my grown son who has Autism and is non verbal has medicade. It felt like I got gut punched . I pay my taxes and I work every day. Nicole is nothing more than a classless big mouth who lucked up on a job shes not qualified for.

This is a great office with quick service and SAMPLES to treat cough and cold symptoms. Sometimes we don’t need antibiotics, and it’s great to be able to go home with something to provide symptom relief.

Received care within reasonable time, was prescribed (antibiotic)medication for my sick daughter. Daughter (2 years old) started to have diarrhea over a few days from the antibiotic (was told by doctor that would be a side affect) finally after the 6th day of medicine my daughter began to have diarrhea during the night uncontrollably 3 times as well as vomiting. I called to speak to the doctor because i was extremely worried she could become dehydrated. No call back throughout the day so i called back. I told the receptionist she has had diarrhea 8 times now and vomited 3 times and the receptionist said the doctor was busy and wouldnt have time to call me back till the end of the day. The doctor was too busy to call in between patients. I find this extremely disturbing that people who pass out medication can not find time to speak to their clients who are having extreme issues with the medication they prescribed. I find this type of practice unethical and dangerous. Beware of small practices for quick fixes. These people could make matters worse.

I been on this med for over 18 years my other Dr would call it in I have to come in this office every 3 months and they dont touch me and call my meds in for me today I have called at least 6 times they said that someone will call me no call back Im on my way to them to see what they got to say Im so pist with this place

WORST CARE OR LACK THERE OF !!!!After waiting 31/2 hours they finally took my vitals, took me in back to wait more then the nurse comes in and ask whats my name!!! Mind you Im having chest pains.... I will NEVER GO BACK ...4 hours later I left without being seen by any one!!! 4 hours to get my blood pressure checked!!! You might as well stay home and pray you dont die, for all the help youll get here!

STILL BAD please do not go here, even if you were desperate like me and had no other option but waiting 5 hours in the ER. These people cannot even perform simple tasks. The ladies (the nurses) who run the desk up front are absolutely CLUELESS. Im in nurses training and they should go back and learn a few things about basic medical care. Such as: Learning to fax the patients prescription to the RIGHT PHARMACY. Is that so hard? Apparently, because I asked her to send it to the Kroger- the one in the same shopping center as this docs office- and she couldnt even do that. You know where she sent it? To the CVS about 8 miles down the road. Hmmmm how does that make any sense? I will NEVER return. Its too bad because the doctor was kinda nice. Maybe hire more competent staff?

I have been going to this clinic since they opened about fifteen yerars ago. First time I went there I had sprained my ankle and someone from the clinic came out to the parking lot with a wheelchair to come get me from MY CAR !! I was SO... impressed. Dr Shikh had a small staff back then and now they have grown so much. ( I can see why, they deserve it ). Now they have a preety big staff who is very helpful and cheerful. All the doctors are excellent. I have been very happy with their services. I have reffered a lot of friends, family members and colleagues to this clinic in last fifteen years and they are all quite happy with this place too Now I go there for all my routine medical visits but recently I went there for bronchitis and everybody was so nice, they truly CARE about YOU.

They run useless test to rack up a huge bill with insurance companies..everytime you go theyll suggest another test that you dont need and try to tell you its necessary. Office is very slow and the manager is unprofessional, i was there 2+ hours today, I wont go back again!!

I visited this place for the first time when i had troublesome nightly coughs.Visit 1: Was asked to take an anti-biotic and a steroid.Steroid made me sleepless and cough wasnt getting any better. and hence have to go back for the second visitVisit 2: Doctor mentioned the steroid wasnt doing me any good so changed the steroid and prescribed me Tussionex and a new anti-biotic called Augmentin.Tussionex got me high and made me impossible to goto work. it also gave me side effects like head ache. it was probably me who was not accepting that medicine. I called the doctor and doctor adviced me to stop tussionex the syrup. but after i stopped taking the syrup the cough came back with a bang!Visit 3: There was a different doctor who changed my anti-biotic and prescribed me Azithromycin. she mentioned that previous two anti-biotics did not work and this should help,after finishing the medication it made my cough worst and i went back. She looked at my medical history and without confirming tests she mentioned i had chronic bronchitis as i was an ex-smoker and also re-presicribed me a new anti-biotic cipra.I was prescribed the so many anti-biotic and i am still down with cough without an actual confirming tests that says i have bronchitis. This clinic got me depressed and made me sad. i dont know what to do and where to do. Is there someway i can blacklist this clinic?

Last year I got sick so I came in to see the doctor I made the copayment of $35 waited two hours and still didnt get to see the doctor so I had to leave however they told me they cannot do a refund but I would have a credit for $35 here is almost a year later so remembering I have a credit for $35 I came in on Saturday, February 4 and they refused to give me the credit because they say they cannot see it that I would have to come back Monday through Friday when there is a manager on duty I dont recommend anybody to go to this place

The facility helped me with my illness. David was my PA and really helped me. Nicole helped me with my diet needs and recovery. I want thank Primary Care for their help.
