Know your coverage if youre attempting to get this covered by your provider. The entire process is as clear as muddy water when it comes to your insurance, and they will not tell you if its not covered to spare you from jumping through hoops to qualify. Next thing you know you gotta pay cash up front or finance around $10,000, only after you already paid for all the other Dr visits, endoscopy, dietitian, and whatever else may be required. Know what youre getting yourself into.

Dr. Suggs and his staff are professional, kind, and advocates for their patients. Upfront and honest, they explained how the surgery, preparation, and recovery would be. Dr. Suggs went out of his way to help when I was scared and in pain. I had gastric sleeve surgery 3 years ago and Im still checked up on.He saved my life and then supported my progress. I couldnt be more thankful.

DO NOT use this doctor. He removed my wife’s gallbladder on Thursday and cut her more than normal. He sent her home without any meds not even nothing for her stomach. She cant keep any food down and in pain, she is starting to bleed and its not from her menstrual cycle! She has been bed ridden since. If I cant ger her up I may have to call an ambulance!

Doesn’t deserve this star but had to click it to give my review. This man killed my father who was also in the medical field for 40+ years and nearly killed my sister. He Laughed and walked out on us while my dad was clinging to life in ICU. I asked for another MD and he laughed and said “they are all on my team “ and walked out of the unit . The Hospital had a new doc on the case in 10 min! 5 doctors apologized separately for this Man and said the senseless surgery he did should have never been done but it was to late 😢. I forgive this man because I’m commanded to by my Lord and savior but I don’t think he will ever realize what he took away from my family. I’ve never been treated like this from a medical professional and hope no one else has to go through what we did including you Dr Suggs . Please look else where if you need a doctor!

Just did surgery for my husband and this was the best experience we have had medically. He is kind and caring and did a great job. He took his time and recovery has been amazing. Use this dr. before any other bariatric dr in Huntsville! We had a consult with Mailipur and he was rude and degrading. Friends had nothing but complications with that Dr.

Six months ago my life ended. I looked in the mirror & all I saw was pain. The hate I saw hurt more than the actual pain I was feeling from 30 years of being a type one diabetic who let life get out of hand. Not everything, but mostly everything that happened to me was my fault. I knew the health message, I heard the warnings. It just got away from me so fast. I went from being 165lbs with 8% body fat in my mid 20s, to my mid 30s topping out at 368lbs in February. In a few days my wife & I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary. Thank you Dr. Suggs for making it possible for me to celebrate it with her. Honestly, with the intentions of sounding cliche, I should be dead. Thank you for giving our 4 year old a place to play when I had to come see you every few days for weeks. Thank you for never forgetting his name & talking to me on the weekends with a smile in your voice when I was feeling really bad. Despite the fact that you were probably exhausted. I will always pray for blessings over your practice. I ask God to send people to you that were like me. Dont ever stop letting Him use you to help fix this tragic human conditioning of bad habits brought on be media & greed.EmmaLaura & Kathy, thank you for always having treats & a smile for my son.
