Four stars for health insurance is actually a pretty amazing feat. They only lose a star from typical health insurance hoop jumping and follow ups. Which really is dealt with at any carrier. Where they shine are the nice people that answer the phone and help you out! Their team is always helpful and cheerful!

Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerible customer service. Hooooooooooorible. The customer service has zeeeeeeeeero clue on how each individual persons insurance covers and thry are too lazy to find the info too explain coverage. Poor poor customer service. Bottom of the barrel. Actually they are underneath the barrel.

Providers beware! This has truly been one of the most disappointing prior authorization experiences Ive had in all of my years working in mental health. They give themselves a full month to respond to prior authorization requests for patients who are in need of urgent intensive mental health treatment, knowing that many of these patients cant simply put off care for a month.On top of this poor auth process, they dont have the courtesy to read and evaluate appeals thoroughly; they denied a second level appeal because they decided there was a flaw in one of several points we made as to why our patient needed this level of care, while conveniently ignoring every other point we made.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This has been the worst company we have ever dealt with for Heath benefits. They deny everything and take forever to approve anything that you need precertifcation for. At the rate they have paid and approved, we would be better off without insurance and negotiating cash pay with all doctors and hospitals. So far, they have denied almost everything except for lab work. We are currently in an appeal process for multiple dr visits and hospital bills. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Consociate Health insurance is a joke!! We pay over $600 dollars a month for our insurance and it doesn’t pay a thing!!!! This is the worst insurance I have ever had! They should be ashamed of themselves!!
