I been there for 7 years but I’m not going there any more😢 but they are awesome the kids are wonderful and sweet the teachers are caring and kind to one another the are responsible I help them with kids but if your looking to send your child there just go because they are wonderful 😀😀

La Petite Academy is a awesome school. I love it and I really love the staff. Everyone is loving and caring, understanding . The Director and her Assistant is very awesome. My son teacher is Ms. Heather she is a very wonderful teacher. My child loves her. She is so into her students. I have no complaints. If you are new to Decatur in looking for a awesome Preschool La Petite is the best.

My little guy has been with La Petite for more than two years and loves it! The staff is so amazing and cordial. They excel at communicating and educating with heart. Highly recommend!

My kids and I love La Petite Academy!!! All the teachers are nice and caring and willing to work and help my children. I love the security that the building has, doorknobs high so the kids cant reach, video cameras, keyed entry. Most importantly the communication with the staff. They have always been available to hear concerns or comments. I would highly recommend!!!

I have worked at La Petite Academy caring for infants and children for 33 years. Caring for and nurturing children is a wonderful blessing and one of the most important jobs one can do. It is amazing to see some of the children return years later as young adults to leave their own children in our care. All personnel at La Petite Academy receive extensive trainingin proper childcare & safety techniques. All personnel are certified in CPR & First Aid.

La Petite in Decatur is the best!! I love the fact that you have to have a code just to get in the door! It makes me feel like my kids are completely safe there. When you walk in the building, you are greeted by smiles and friendly faces. All of the teachers at the school are so great. They are very well trained for what they do, they are very kind and loving to the children, and they are teach the kids just what they need to know. My daughter just started Kindergarten this year and her teacher contacted me telling me how wonderful she is doing...I know that this is due to the amazing educational program that La Petite has to offer.

I love this school! The teachers and staff are friendly and my daughter is always happen when I pick her up. Highly recommend!

La Petite Academy in Decatur has a very nurturing and caring staff. They truly care about the children and go above and beyond for them in creating a safe and enriching environment. My girls love going to baby school and they are learning so much. I feel at ease returning to work knowing my girls are in good hands. I am so greatful for the staff of La Petite in Decatur.

La petite is a wonderful place for your kids. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking . I have a 2 year old & 3 month old & I never have to worry about what my children while I’m working . I also get plenty of updates threw out the day on them both.

La Petite is the best place i have ever taken my child so far! He is 3 and not what you would consider fully potty trained.... at least in my eyes... they have helped him adjust to his new surroundings and as a single mom who is new to the whole experience, they have put my mind to ease completely! I have probably called 3 or 4 times since i dropped him off and each time they have given me a full and promising progress report! And assured me that it was completely ok for me to call as many times as i felt like calling. This means sooooo much to a new mom and puts my fears of leaving him to rest! They are so sweet and caring and he was immediately happy with his teacher and fellow classmates. La Petite Academy holds their teachers and students to a higher standard than most other child care facilities. Both of my children benefit from the extra curricular activities provided by La Petite such as: Playball (which teaches hand eye coordination, motor skills, and team work), Soccer Shots, Piano classes, and the many field trips (Birmingham Zoo, Sci Quest, Skating Rink, splash pad) for school age children. My youngest daughter started the pre-kindergarten program this year and enjoys herself immensely while learning letters, numbers, and counting. The staff is professional and caring with the children. The facilities are secure and require a pass-code for entry. The staff communicates well by keeping me informed of my childrens progress and behavior. If there are any issues I am able to work closely with the staff to reach a resolution that benefits the children and helps them to grow. I would most definitely recommend this child care facility.

I left my daughter there for the free trial day and they called me within 15 minutes and refused to care for my child. I did the whole tour before hand and they promised potty training and that they had and adjustment period for children who were new to daycare. This was my first experience with a daycare and they called me weeks later asking if I wanted to enroll my child. Seriously? I told them what happened and they acted all shocked but it was an extremely hurtful experience. They promised so much on the tour but their facility was filthy and a lot of the children where laying around and crying when I went in there. There are better daycares available.
