The worst two days of my life were at this facility. I still have nightmares. And Im not saying this lightly or being funny. If you or a loved one have a problem I urge you not to step foot anywhere near this place. I am a pretty tough individual and Ive been to war over seas and this place scares me worse. They drugged me so bad I was hallucinating and didnt know where or who I was then when I refused to let them inject me with more drugs so they kicked me out into the street in my pajamas at 4 in the morning on the middle of Atlanta. I wouldnt let a dog be in this place. I hope anyone considering going here reads this.

Was a very good place for me, was thinking about them today and compared to other places I think they are at the top. I was one of the first Methadone patients back in 2007 and it is unbelievable how life gets better.

The doctor at this place is a nightmare. I guarantee all the positive reviews of this guy are fake. I only went there one time had to wait five hours to see Dr. Moseri he said of my condition to one of his case workers Its a bad case I dont want it and then dismissed me promptly. Dr. Moseri Im a person not an it!

I have to give a 1 star because the majority of the staff at this organization seems to be caring and on top of their game. I met nurse Jenny that was inviting, accommodating and pleasant; but clearly overworked. My client had concerns about a personal situation he was in and after speaking to the sheriffs office he needed to address those concerns before he could be admitted to this facility. Upon explaining this I was told to wait while policy research was completed. After about 30 mins I was introduced to a Moseri. I walked in and the man didn’t look up from his computer to even look at me. I stood there for maybe 2 minutes before he acknowledged me and requested I sit. After disagreeing on what I’m still not sure I was verbally accosted and waved off as if I was trash. I can only imagine how he treats the consumers there. I will never send another client or ever recommend this facility to any colleagues. His staff stated he was old and grumpy and has issues with clients and others very often. The terrible reviews are accurate based on my interactions with Moseri but I don’t believe his staff is as asinine. It’s unfortunate they have to deal with something like him.

This place deserve five stars. I went into the office on a referral and had skepticism. I was very indecisive about staying and I had changed my mind several times. I ended up leaving because I wasnt ready to commit five days. The receptionist was amazing, Nurse Jenny, and the entire staff. The only thing is, if you are doing impatient treatment, be prepare to commit to five days. I am sure the program is worth it.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! DANGER ZONE! I took a family member to this place to receive help and they didnt receive anything other than verbal/ physical abuse. They called and told me that they where sending my family member to the hospital for pain but when I went to the hospital they told me that they where supposedly treating her for an overdose. The doctor at the hospital said she didnt have anything in her system so they didnt know what was going on. The hospital called Newport and asked for the patients family person of contact and Newport told the hospital that they didnt have anybody on file. Mind you they had me and my brothers info on file plus several of people that support the patient. This place never informed me of anything. They shouldnt be allowed to treat humans or a damn dog. If you really need help never go to this place.

Doctor Moseri is by far the worst doctor Ive ever had. Today he withheld a crucial medication from me because I went off of a different medication that I felt was redundant and not helpful to me at all (and which I was bullied into taking in the first place). He doesnt listen to my concerns. He just prescribes more pills. But now hes taken away one of the only ones that actually helps in my daily life and making it seem like Im a petulant child for getting upset. I left his office in tears and a nervous wreck. And now of course because I dont have my proper medication I have no healthy way of dealing with it. Dont give your money to Newport or this fraud Moseri.

3.5 stars. I went for several months and really like my counselor. It is typical government contractor - slow, lots of shady characters (ha! Look at me!), kind of run down. However, I found that everyone was very nice if you were nice to them. It took a long time to get in initially, but after that I went regularly. Are they perfect? No. Like most government providers, they are over worked and understaffed. I would not recommend them for an emergency situation (but thats only because I never used them for an emergency, therefor have no knowledge to base a recommendation on).

This place is super slow.... I had an appointment and after driving for 30 min to get there they tell me my counselor didnt come to work .... And no one had the audacity to contact any of her patients 👎🏽 they are mean and there is no compassion for the patients ... They give you all these pills and treat you like Guinea pigs.... The doctors rude the nurses rude the only nice people there are the front desk girls.... Not worth going to them... They are the worst people to deal with...

The staff was nice to me. It was the visitors who were sooo rude and ugly towards otber customers. Children were loud and inconsiderate of others and I was just overwhelmed at all the many rude visitors that were there. Classes on ettiquette are needed. Loud music is not allowed in businesses or noisy children.

After a life changing tragedy, I sought psychiatric help. I am uninsured and due to the severe depression I had lost my job. The doctor was beyond rude to me, he asked me are you a schizophrenic? I said no, and refused to be medicated as a schizophrenic. He then waved me out of his office, as a person would wave a fly off of a plate of food. My therapist was nice but she stopped showing up. I still go and see another therapist, a very nice lady, but she is so overworked I have to sit and tell my entire story each time. My advice would be to find another sliding scale clinic, despite the amount of travel, this clinic treats people like cattle.
