I went to Dr. Armstrong for years. Then i took my 18 year old daughter for a cleaning. Dr said she need 3 CROWNS. She was very upset. We got a second opinion and it turns out all she needed was 1 filling. Now I wonder if so much work on my teeth were really necessary. Wish I would have gotten a second opinion years ago. BE CAREFUL FOLKS!

Even after writing down what was expected to be done on my teeth, the work was not finished. This happened twice before and is the reason I wrote what was to be done before agreeing to the price the last time. The staff there are very rude!!! I paid my bill and moved on. I am a retired teacher and do not recommend going to this office...it has ruined many of my days by making this bad choice!!

My appointment was with one of the Dental Hygienists. It went quickly due to the tool used to clean my teeth. The hygienist was very friendly and frequently asked if I was comfortable during the cleaning.All the staff is friendly and concerned with the patients comfort. Dr. Armstrong has been my dentist since he started practicing.

Ive been coming here for years. Its comfortable to be familiar with the staff and be treated as a known person.

Been coming here for the past two years so on my last visit I go in for my regular cleaning and first problem is that they have my X-rays from last time which was 6 months ago but they still charged me $100 even tho they only did cleaning. Second problem I told them I get headaches from my teeth so they told me the doctor is not here now so they will talk to him tmrw morning and call me but never called it’s been over 2 weeks. Third problem is the stupid travel size toothpaste they gave me is expired and here is a pic

Always kind and courteous, the staff makes things easy to understand and as comfortable as possible. I have seen Dr. Armstrong for almost 8 years. I am always amazed at how quickly he works, and how he ensures that I am comfortable. I dont like going to dentists, but everyone there always makes it as comfortable as possible.

This was honestly the best dental experience Ive ever had. The team was friendly and professional, and my hygienist was so gentle, to the point that for the first time the teeth cleaning actually felt good and relieving. I am so happy and will keep going back! I even got a free rose ! they go above and beyond!

Once you get past the first appointment, expect to be back. When it comes to the money, these guys are the weinsteins and goldbergs or the dentistry regime. “We cracked your molar, come back next time” “you will pay for it too!” I can hear Mr. Goldstei- Armstrong rubbing those pennies together as I type this because after they mess your teeth up, and their go after your wallet next. What a AWESOME dentist!!! I took my 6 year old daughter to him because she fell and hit her front tooth. I called the office and they got us in within the hour :) The front desk was professional and super nice and made me comfortable since I was a nervous about bringing my baby girl to a new place.Im so Happy that I gave this office a chance. Dr. Armstrong was so good with her which made me relieved because Carly has always been a little afraid of the dentist. They took an x-ray and Dr recommended that we just watch the tooth because its to early to tell if she will need it pulled or not. Dr. will re-evaluate in a month at her cleaning appointment.I highly recommend this Dr!! My daughter cant wait to go back and shes not afraid anymore which makes my life a lot easier. I also scheduled some cleaning appointments for my wife and myself. My family will be a lifetime patient of Armstrong Dental.

This dentist office is amazing!!! I went in today for a routine check up/cleaning and the staff and Dr.Armstrong were awesome! Very professional place with new technology that i have not seen previously at any other dentist office i been to. The dental hygienist that i had was beyond great! She took her time, was extremely intelligent, knew what she was doing, and her work was very thorough. On top of that she was very friendly and has an amazing personality. We talked a lot about many things but unfortunately I didnt get her name; but let me describe her, she has a healthy body, brunette with curly hair that was up, and hazel/light brown eyes. i had a wonderful experience today i cannot stress this enough, i will never go to another dentist again. Dr.Armstrong was very educated, professional, and friendly as well. He fixed my two front teeth that i had indentations in ever since i lost my baby teeth! i was amazed and asked him why hasnt any other dentist i been to straighten out my two front teeth!! Its because simply this dentist office actually has a good staff with good intentions that want the best for their patients!! i can go on and on and on about how great Dr.Armstrongs office is. I have been a patient of Dr Armstrong for several years now. The experience has been excellent. I recently had to have a partial replaced. The partial was an exact fit. No adjustments necessary. The partial is quite comfortable and there are no issues. Excellent job. I would highly recommend Dr Armstrong.

I was told insurance sometimes wont let new customers use certain services immediately and instead of checking that I was left nasty messages about updating my insurance and screamed at on the phone by Stacy. I had an amazing experience at Dr. Armstrongs office. I came here for a second opinion about my wisdom teeth and I appreciate their honesty.The first dentist I went to told me that all four needed to come out but at my initial exam with Dr. Armstrong he let me know that I really had to just the two bottom wisdom teeth extracted because the gap in my top teeth would fill in when the top wisdom teeth grew in. So I decided to move forward with her instead of the first doctor because of his honesty. I also appreciated how he put my nerves to ease and that everything would be okay. Im glad to tell you that the procedure went smoothly and everything healed properly.

We brought my daughter to Dr. Armstrong because one of her baby tooth was in the way. She was very worried when she heard that they had to pull out one of her tooths but the staff here were so sweet and gentle with her that she forgot all about it. They did such an amazing job with her. I was worried that she was going to hate going to the dentist after that but she was perfectly fine. She loves going to Dr. Armstrongs because she really likes the staff here.

I honestly hate going to the dentist but Dr. Armstrong and his staff were really great. I didn’t like my old dentist so when he told me I needed a root canal I decided to go to another dentists and found this place. My root canal went great and I healed perfectly because of staff here gave me clear instructions and tips for a successful recovery.

The office of Dr. Armstrong makes a great case as to why I shouldnt fear dentists. Their customer service is amazing and the fact that they made sure I was as comfortable as possible, given my current disposition towards dentists, was amazing. I had a great experience today... I must admit I hate visiting the dentist , so I havent been to the dentist in a couple years. My first experience was when I called the office to make my appointment, the staff was super friendly and helpful. My dental hygienist Danielle was a delight and made a uncomfortable situation that I usually dread one that I will no longer dread. Dr. Armstrong was polite and professional and explained everything to me in great detail.

All I have to say is WOW!!!! The best experience EVER!! I have always been afraid of going to the dentist, personally I hate them but after my visit with Dr. Armstrong I dont have to worry anymore. Actually Im looking forward to my next cleaning! He was that good. I had a really bad toothache and they were able to see me the same day. I have heard so many horror stories about root canals so I was very apprehensive to follow through with the treatment. Im really glad I did because he was able to save my tooth and it didnt even HURT! The staff was amazing… even had my prescriptions delivered to the Office!!I would definitely recommend all my family and friends to Dr. Armstrong. I dont usually write reviews, but my experience at Dr. Armstrongs office was so positive I want to share. I suffered from a tooth ache. I have a fear of painful procedures, so I put off going to see him for weeks, even cancelling my appointments a few times. when I did go his friendly staff immediately made me feel comfortable and like a guest in their home. The office was extremely clean and updated. Dr. Armstrong performed a root canal on my tooth. He took time to explain what had happened and what he was going to do. After he numbed the area I did not feel a thing. That is important for someone like me who has anxiety over the fear of pain. I went back for the permenant tooth a few weeks later and it matched the rest of the teeth in my mouth perfectly. I havent had any problems since. I would definitely recommend Dr. Armstrong to my family, friends, and anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

So disappointed! Watch what you are charged for when going to this office. I was told that I was getting a deep cleaning on multiple occasions but It wasnt the same as my other deep cleanings that I have had at other dentist offices There was no numbing shots given! My supposedly deep cleanings were the same as a regular cleaning BUT my insurance was billed for a deep cleaning! WHICH I did not receive! Not sure if the hygienist are allowed to give numbing shots or just told to say they did a deep cleaning! All I know is I was billed for something that I DIDNT receive!!

I really trust Dr. Armstrong because I’ve been coming for more than 3 years and he never pressed me, he always does what he thinks is the best for me, because he is very knowledgeable and I always feel and get better when I come to see him. I would recommend this dentist.

I love my dental bridge. The first bridge I got made for my missing teeth was made in the Philippines and it lasted for a good decade before it fell a part. I was debating on going back to the Philippines to get another one made but it would have be ridiculous to spend that much money for something I could get done here. I found Dr. Armstrongs office and made an appointment. The staff was great and really nice. It felt so great to have my bridge back and most importantly my smile back. Thank you again Dr. Armstrong.

One of the greatest decisions I made was switching my primary dentist to Dr. Armstrong. Ive been getting my teeth clean and other basic procedures here for the past two years and I feel like home every time I come here. My old dentist would always make me feel bad whenever I got a cavity or if I wasnt able to floss before going in for my cleaning. I hated how they made me feel small but I dont get that from Dr. Armstrong and his staff when I come here. They always give me tips and how to keep my teeth in tip top shape and keep my mouth healthy. I highly suggest this dental office.

Tea is an extremely big staple in my life. When other people have coffee, tea is my morning drink of choice. Hence, when I came in to Dr. Armstrong, I was pretty nervous. Here were these pretty set stains in between my teeth from my many mornings of tea. I honestly had no hope that Dr. Armstrong could clean those out, considering the last time I saw the dentist was a full year ago. Thankfully, he did the impossible. His simple teeth cleaning somehow scraped off all those stains! I knew he did such a great job when my mom literally asked me how did my teeth look so white now. Thank you all for giving me practically a brand new smile!

Dr. Armstrong has been my dentist for almost 16 years. I am 45 now, and went to him when I moved to the metro area. He has been nothing short of awesome!I had many fillings from my high school and college days (when I didnt take good care of my teeth). Over these past years, he has prioritized which teeth needed to be worked on first, and done some amazing crown work. I have all of my original teeth, with some wonderful crowns, thanks to Jason. I have found him to be the consumate professional, nice and very gentle.When he moved his practice to Dearborn, I followed him. I have complete trust and confidence in him, and his staff. He makes the experience painless (well, almost!) and he is a just a good guy in general. ANYONE who has gone to him, would have to agree with me. Thanks Jason!! He is truly GREAT dentist and person!

My son loves coming to dentist because of this caring staff. He use to dread the dentists ever since he got his first tooth extracted. Ever since we started seeing Dr. Armstrong, he actually loves going to the dentist. I thought all that would have changed when they informed me that he had a cavity that needed to be treated. When they told me that I thought they were going to extract the tooth like the other doctor did but they were honest with me and informed me that it was a tiny cavity that just needed to be filled. I was still worried because I knew they would have to drill it a little but they didnt. They reassured me that there were going to be no drilling because they had an air abrasion technique that would eliminate the need for any numbing shots either. I was so relieved and so was my son. Aside from their honest, we love coming here because they take great care of me and my son.

I normally never write reviews online, however everyone should STAY AWAY from this awful SCAM of a dentist. My mother and I went to Dr. Armstrong for a $99 special for teeth cleaning and x-rays. He told my mom she needed a whole root canal done and then charged her over $2,600 for the procedure that he did not finish. For me, he did a new procedure where you use this sandblaster to brush any pre-cavities from teeth. He said that it normally costs $400 but that he would wave the fee. While looking at my insurance bill, he charged my insurance over $400 for cleaning and x-rays, that were supposed to be only $99. The total bill was $1,500. Its no coincidence that the maximum dental coverage for my medicaid insurance per year is exactly $1,500. He made up a random number for each thing he did and made sure it added up to exactly $1,500.

Great Doctor!!! I had been going to the same Dentist for the last 20 years, never did he explain things the way Dr. Armstrong did. Dr. Armstrong educated me on how to keep my mouth healthy. I had a few very small cavitys that he was able to fix without a drill or shots. How awesome is that!!!! I am referring all my friends and family to Dr. Armstrong #1 becasuse he is excellent #2 He gives a $25 credit to my account for every person I send to him. I even got free bleaching.. LIKE, LIKE, LIKE!!!!!

I absolutely Dr. Armstrong and his staff. My co-worker referred me to this office and Im glad she did because when I got my braces removed I didnt realize how bad theyve yellowed until I moved so I wasnt able to get my teeth whitened prior to leaving. So I went to Dr. Armstrong and got my teeth whitened and I am so pleased with the results. They got my teeth 10 shades whiter. I was feeling very self conscious about showing off my new smile because they were so stained from all the cigarettes and coffee I had with my braces off but these guys really restored my confidence in my smile. Because of their work I cant stop smiling and Ive been getting non-stop compliments for my incredible teeth. I highly suggest this dental office because they know what theyre doing.

He is the king of root canals, how do you think he was able to afford his fancy office. He did a few root canals and crowns on me and they all went bad one way or another. He also messed up a root canal on my teenage daughter and she had to go to a specialist afterward to have it re-done. I learned the hard way, I wish there had been someone to warn me about him. All of my family and friends have stopped going there for the same reason.............the words root canal all seem to come out of his mouth.

I could feel my wisdom teeth growing in for a while now but I didnt do anything about it until it started causing me pain. The pain would bother me here and there but it wasnt until last week where it wouldnt subside. My friend referred me to Dr. Armstrong because he did his extractions so I decided to give him a try. His assistants were AMAZING. I told them that I was in pain but I could wait if there werent any appointments available but they were able to get me in the next day. I was worried about the idea of getting my teeth pulled but Dr. Armstrong and his assistants really calmed me down and I got through it. I would definitely recommend this dentist office.

Really great staff! I was very frazzled initially going in as my tooth was in pain and they assured me Jason would do a great job and make the pain as painless as possible. He did a much better job than my last dentist obviously as this was a second root canal I end up needing. (Brightside Dental, NEVER GO THERE). I do like this Dentist and plan to come back! Would recommend them and Jason is actually easy on the eyes! Not bad looking at all! I say try them out, and they had payment plan options only didnt give 5 stars because when it comes to money I need the options to very specific to choose from not just a well what can you do/pay now and how do you want to do this kind of ora, but that doesnt take aways from their good hospitality for their patients!

Im a truck driver and needed emergency dental care . Advised i needed a root canal. Had it done in office on very short notice staff was friendly and informative would highly recommend Armstrong dental for all your dental needs . I know ill be traveling the 2 hours from home just to come here for all future needs

There seems to be consistency among the complaints in negative reviews, which should already be raising a red flag. He recommends more procedures than any other dentist I have ever been to - to the limit of my insurance coverage for the year. Seriously, every time I went in there, he would schedule another visit for something else he said needed to be fixed. I paid hundreds of dollars to fill small cavities that other dentists said were unnecessary. Also, he messed up one of my fillings, I went back to him to have it fixed (which he still charged my insurance for), but ever since I noticed that the tooth he performed the procedure on became very sensitive whenever I ate. After going to another dentist I found out that the nerves surrounding that tooth are permanently damaged, AND the new dentist had to fix the filling that he already worked on twice! This guy just wants your money. Stay away.

Armstrong is the worst dentist I have ever went to. I had pain in my upper tooth and he said I needed a root canal and it would cost me over $6000 just for 1 tooth!! I said no way I would pay that when others charge $500. He said your wisdom teeth need to be removed immediatlety thats why you have pain, and I was like you know what do it since Ive been having excrutiating pain for weeks. He pulled 3 wisdom teeth out that had nothing to due with my pain!!!! My pain got even worse than before, I went to the hospital and they diagnosed me with trigeminal neuralgia, and the wisdom teeth extraction was the cause. I then went to another dentist and he did my root canal for only $500 and that was the only problem I had. Thanks doctor Armstrong, I hope youre sleeping good at night because Im not, all thanks to you!! Youre a fraud and you lie to patients and tell them they need dental work done when they dont. It was the biggest MISTAKE in my life coming to you!!!!! I will tell everyone to not come to you. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD! I thought we can trust our doctors but at the end of the day, all they want is your money, they can care less about you. I bet all these GOOD reviews are from his employees, you dont even deserve a 1 star, but thats the least I can give you.

Terrible. Im 17 now and will be having my second root canal on the SAME TOOTH sometime soon because he took the expensive way of doing it and ended up messing it up. I am in more pain now than before. I have a family friend who wen through a similar problem. Charged her tons of money for things she did not need, and also did the same thing to my mother. I would never refer anyone to this man. Hes a money hungry pig and will tell you anything to get money out of you or your insurance.

Haha I love all these fake reviews that Armstrongs staff leaves. This is hilarious. I will be reporting them for conflicts of interest and Im sure Google will see they all came from the same IP address.In all seriousness, Armstrong is nice but he overcharges, recommends work thats unnecessary, and will wipe out your years insurance coverage in a single visit. He prefers using the crappy composite fillings because they dont last long and that means more work for him! Also he was found guilty of an infraction by the Michigan dental licensing/regulatory agency and had to pay a $2000 fine - this shows what he is about.Find somewhere else - anyplace is better than here

This guy is a scam, I cant believe he is still in business. I went to him for a tooth ache he told me I need a root canal he did the one that didnt need a root canal and left the infected one aside thinking oh shell come back within a couple of days saying my tooth hurt and hell do another root canal for 2600$.oky got my root canal done Thursday Friday night my infection got worse couldnt sleep, eat, function right and I forgot to mention hes closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday so Sunday the pain got worse called the office no after hour answering machine was turned off so because of that it cost me $3000 for one tooth to go emergence Sunday called in 2 antibiotics to take at 12 midnight second day I went back to Armstrong he told me well I need to do the other tooth now just like I assumed he would say I left angry went to a specialist and it cost me an additional $1100. bottom line hes a scammer.

Stay away! Inexperienced staff and will do anything to max out your insurance every year. His solution is whatever cost the most.

Had a toothache that other dentists could not fix. Dr Armstrong took care of the problem in one visit.

I needed a root canal as an emergency, all the staff and Dr Armstrong performed the procedure, efficiently and with care and attention to my pain and discomfort.
