From the moment I took my free pregnancy test I have been welcomed and comforted and it was all thanks to resources for women! Not only do they inform you of your options after confirming your pregnancy, but they also provide resources regardless of your decision. I knew I was keeping my child but even if I wasn’t 100% certain, they were willing to listen and help. I know those ladies personally now and they’ve been my second support team ever since. If you’re not certain of your pregnancy or unsure of your next steps, take the effort to visit resources for women AT LEAST to educate yourself. You have the freedom of choice ❤️

If you are looking to explore your options with pregnancy, this center is NOT the place to go!! They offer services with the intention to get you to keep your pregnancy. They are not a real clinic with medical doctors, only staff that will do ultrasounds-- but keep in mind the ultrasound is only to confirm a pregnancy, they cannot confirm a gender or any pregnancy abnormalities. Other than the ultrasounds, that is the only “medical” service they offer. They do NOT perform abortions, provide an abortion pill, or confirm/ deny anything medical. If you want to keep your option of abortion open, DO NOT go here.

If you seek just information, you can go here but if you want actual medical advice or attention, seek out a real clinic. The term resources is used, but this is extremely confusing because this center only provides a pregnancy test or ultrasounds, the plural use is inaccurate considering they are only a resource for one thing. Their educational materials may be inaccurate and or outdated. This is a CPC, so they are limited in information that they can give you, like they wouldnt tell you the nearest abortion clinic is about an hour away. The only thing they do that a google search doesnt is have an ultrasound machine... Which if youre adopting out or wanting to terminate, doesnt make much sense.

So I have been going to resources for women for almost a whole year now. Originally I went when I found out I was pregnant and I was completely lost. Through this center, I was able to see my baby for the first time. Figure out a plan, parent, adopt, or abort. Now my family at the time, encouraged abortion and once I educated myself through this center, I realized I didn’t have the heart to do that. The more I sought counseling, I found some relief and became a capable mother. I began attending their parenting classes and found more reasons to parent my child and be confident while doing so. The women here are so loving and encouraging. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. I love being able to take my daughter here and attend class and pick out cute outfits, toys, and food. This place has been a life savor with diapers and wipes as well. It’s always such a pleasure when coming here. Always a welcoming, nonjudgmental, loving place to be! My daughter loves it too and she doesn’t take to others well! I can’t really explain in words how grateful I am to have found this place!

I took a look at the Resources for Women Website and noticed that the information posted for emergency contraception (EC) was not accurate. The site infers that EC might be considered abortion which it is not and also that it may be risky which it is not.

I found out i was pregnant through the program here and was extremely excited. They went ahead and signed me up for an ultrasound a month out and told me i should get insurance and everything. So in the months time before my ultrasound appointment with them i went and got insurance and saw a general physician. When it came time for my appointment at the resource for women i drove all they way there from oak hill and sat in the waiting room and as they were getting ready to let me see my baby for the first time they told they couldn’t do it now because I went and saw a doctor. Just a heads up about the place.

Excellent source for woman before during a d after their pregnancy. Staff is very polite friendly and helpful.

Be aware that if you would like to explore your reproductive options this is not the correct place for you. They are an anti-abortion clinic and in a situation as important as having a child you should be informed of ALL your options.
