I am very pleased at how clean the place is. The staff is very attentive to each patient and takes very great care of the patients as well. I was very impressed at the barber shop and library they offer the patients ad well as a regimented schedule of activities for all the veterans!

So, the residents say happy place and good treatment... But people who run things say you can not help or ask questions without liscensing from state or something like that. I wanted honest opinions and standard of care is bad press. But if they cant get in or get info, how does one find housing as a veteran of our armed forced, the protector of our freedom? Those men say they just want contact and friends. But visits arent allowed without much red tape? Why souch buracracy?

This place is great. Clean. The staff is nice. They have animals. Very homely atmosphere.

This assisted living center does an amazing job in caring for our veterans. As a USPS retired letter carrier we would sing Christmas carols there. The residents and attendants are always engaging and friendly. Clean and warm environment.

Joined in with Team RWB to celebrate Christmas with 120 of our veterans. Everyone was in good spirits, Santa came, and we were entertained by a lady who sang all our favorite Christmas songs. They had pizza, and pasta, lots of sweet treats, and bags full of presents personally selected for each Veteran. I enjoyed holding hands, hugging and talking with many. One gentleman, as he held my hand, told me I was a nice lady, beautiful lady, and kissed me on the cheek. There were also many family members visiting, too, spouses, adult children, siblings. What a wonderful party! Thank you for letting me be part of your day.

I had the pleasure of visiting the veterans nursing home Dad my neighbor want me to go up with her to visit. She made cookies for the people and I being a magician decided to entertain them with some magic and balloon animals to get them to smile when we arrived there were about 25 men and for women and wheelchairs and others were gathered around tables having their lunch. I talked to them, they had a good time and it was a blessing that I could do what we did to help that the cheer up that day. It was a lovely place.

We had a outstanding Vietnam Veterans Day Ceremony there this morning. Then we, VVA 1048 Daytona Beach cooked burgers and dogs for all the residents and staff...what a blessed time for all. Thank you Lord. God bless America!

This home is a tribute to all the men and women and their families who served in the military. The care, compassion and attention to the vets, their every need. The home is immaculate and so are the residents rooms. The staff are competent, friendly and ready to help the families and the vets entrusted into their care.

What a beautiful facility. Very clean and every staff person I encountered smiled and greeted me. All residents appeared pleasant, and well cared for.

My father has lived here for about 8 months we couldnt be happier with the care he has recieved the staff has been wonderful with his care and his transition from home. Update: my father has now been living at Emory l Bennett for almost a year. His health has improved much. The staff is very kind and respectful of patients and their families. I couldnt be more pleased and I go about 4 times a week to visit so I have a pretty good idea of what goes on.

I took my dad there for another option to his retirement future, but discovered it was a nursing home and he was not ready for one just yet. But we were given a very nice tour by a very caring and compationate young lady. She took us around the facility and gave us a great tour. Thank you for your assistance.

I visited the veterans home, because I wanted to see it before I applied for the front desk position. There were 3 people sitting at desk, I had to interrupt their conversation to ask about the position and they didnt want to be bothered nor did they act like they even knew about the position. This was very rude and unlike the position described in your add.

Everything is top notch here for the vets that given so much for our country if you want a sobering experience stop in and thank a vet!

It is always a great day spending quality time with our Vets.

The entire staff is very good , the meals served are good , the CNAs take good care of the variety of needs around them during meals , the nurses are friendly ..The Doctor is above par , physical therapy is consistent ..This facility is clean , they have 3 dogs and a cat that wander the halls ..Lucky is the one you will see the most ....I miss having my Dad with me but I feel confident he is in good hands

Nam Knights MC stopped by Emory L Bennett Veterans retirement home. Visited with the veterans for a while. Very few WW2 vets left, sadly that generation will be gone soon.
