My new client inquiry was promptly returned, and my first appointment was scheduled at my convenience. Emergence Counseling utilizes professional (and secure) online web tools to set and remind clients of their appointments, which I love.The location was super easy to find, located in a class A Daytona Beach office tower.along with absolutely fantastic exterior window views. The interior of the office is professional, warm, and welcoming. I discovered my counselor to be friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about issues that directly have an effect on my life, and happiness. Payment was easy with either online or with paper money. When our son first came out we didnt know where to start. Even though this is a generally large area and population, its definitely not known for being outwardly accepting of the LGBTQ Community. He was 11 year old at the time so we started with the school counselor. She was so sweet and understanding but also sympathetic to the lack of support or services she had to share with us. In fact, she had ZERO suggestions (Ive contacted her since and made sure she had Cynthia/Emergence Counselings information for future parents). This is an amazing, safe space for individual counseling, family counseling and youth groups as well. I cant and wont think about how our experience would have been without Cynthia Fisher and Emergence Counseling. HIGHLY RECOMMEND her ANYONE looking for information or support.
