I have nothing but love for Covance / Labcorp Clinical Trials. Participating in their trials not only blesses your bank account, but it blesses the world by getting groundbreaking new medications on the market safely. The best part of Covance is the employees. Lindsey and Ashley are 2 of the best people Ive ever met and made my 22 day stay there profoundly enjoyable. They are trust assets to Covance. I could literally name almost every employee who positively affected me in some way, but let me also give a shout out to Lee, Rose, Desiree and Rob. Everyone I just named cares about the people who stay there and it shows. A few other positive notes, the food is FIRE that they feed you and they have great amenities to pass the time. Female younger doctor denied my study because i said i did not want to get a covid vaccine after (that she recommends) .She got political on me and immediently started being mean/distant.

Horrible experience with these people beware! They gave me a false positive Covid-19 test result on check in day which turned out to be a Sunday. Same day took same test at Orange County Conventional Center and they told me I was negative I also took PCR test still negative. These people not only lied to me but they also wont consider re testing me even if you can provide paperwork that contradicts their antigen covid-19 test results because thats what it says on their consent which they can change at any time for any reason or no reason. Thats their policy. Now they are giving me the run around after i spoke to the coordinator for that study and she acknowledged they made a mistake but they wont reverse it or consider me to screen for future studies until I can prove im negative with their inaccurate test. No follow ups NOTHING! No consideration or respect for the participants to them all you are is a testing subject. Stay far far away from this place

The workers and nurses and doctors there are extremely weird and rude. A worker there was very disrespectful to me when I went to a screening there. And she clearly has no brain at all. And the rest of the workers and nurses and doctors there are just as bad. One of the reasons I canceled a medical study there at the Daytona beach covance location is because of the very rude and nasty workers there. It’s not worth it. Go to another medical study place that knows how to be respectful to participants.

I also was in study 8377-547 and I know we were allowed to reschedule outpatient visits. I dont think the study coordinator was very conscientious. She didnt explain thoroughly how the drug would be administered, and the schedule was revised 3 times and even the last revision, the date and day on one visit didnt match. The consent form stated alternates would get something like $700 but in reality, they only got $250. I wonder about this.

Was asked very personal questions and after spending almost an hour on the phone, I was told i dont qualify for any of their studies due to my food allergies even though none of the medications being given to the patients involve anything im allergic to. What a joke and a waste of time.

I loved the fact that you can make easy money basically to lay around and do nothing.Also they are some risks in taking any medication but without human trial how would you know.I know I definitely say they pay well and they have qualified staff working for them.

Terrible place I couldn’t even finish my stay it’s dirty and the staff there is disguising ,nasty and rude. I won’t be back. It’s not worth the money believe me.

Done several studies here and the staff is mostly plesant. Always had the doctors be thorough in making sure i knew what was happening. one bad blood draw experience. Reason why Im taking a star off tho is because the fitted sheets do not fit. Irritating having the come undone at 2 am.

I dont think much of Covance in Daytona Beach. I recently finished study 8377-547 (drug for headaches) and all study participants were told by the study coordinator that we could reschedule outpatient visits if we needed to. I did so and now that the study is over, I was told Im ineligible to return because I was in non-compliance to reschedule visits, although we were told we could do so and they even rescheduled the visits I requested, without any warning that I was in non-compliance. I think this lacks in integrity. They also falsely claim now that I couldnt be reached by phone while I was in the study, and that also is false. I was called numerous times by Covance with new rescheduled dates (for the outpatient visits) while I was in the study and I even answered the phone when they called. I most definitely was able to be reached by phone while I was in the study. Obviously, honesty is not an important trait with them.

To Whom It May Concern:Out of all Covance facilities, Daytona Beach Covance has got to be the worse place ever. The staff, especially Ms.Francine are very slow and racially bias. They always seem to make up new rules as they go especially if they dont wont a certain type into a particular study, mainly the large amount studies. It happens multiple times when I make calls for screening on larger amount studies and they always give me the run around on calling me back, which they never do. They seem to already have their favorite volunteers considering now they got something call Pool Selection which is another way to keep certain volunteers from participating without looking bias and have it as an excuse on why a volunteer didnt get selected because of the computer random selection aka pool selection. They should have a call center just like Dallas Covance, in which they have a different staff member that just focus solely on screening the volunteers and not have the workers that already have a position on the floor doing our check-ins and blood draw. Until then Daytona Beach Covance is just going to continue to be micro managed with old staff members that needs to retire if they feel like theyre too good to be fair and keep judging certain people by the way they look or dress. I guarantee after writing this...Daytona Beach Covance is still being racially bias but only time will tell. Have a bless day!

Covance at Daytona Beach is a nice and clean facility to do a study. The staff and or employees are professional, courteous, and helpful.

Visited once. So far so good

New here and I just did my first study. It went very well , smooth, faster than expected and the staff were all very helpful , professional and friendly.

Wonderfull staff, nice meals, clean and tide, well blood draw extractions

If your hands are shaking while doing blood draws...you are in no position to permanently make notation on a volunteers record as a difficult blood draw.
