Based on my first time visiting I was appalled how rude the owner was at this location. I was told this before by others. Im in the trans community and im very well known and will let others know about my bad experience to others. My last wig I bought thru a different retailer I spent over 500.00. There was noone in the store at the time and the owner did not even try to ask me if she could help instead I was rushed out. Claiming pandemic, the trans community wont put up with this and on top lost a sale. I will drive a hour away to go back to the other retailer that is so eager to help. Very rude and bad customer service, I wont be back

This was my 1st experience shopping at Wig Villa in Daytona Beach.Im a licensed Cosmetologist & I appreciated that Michelle the owner is also. She has an unbelievable stock and varieties of styles & color! My purchase was motivated by my thinning hair and I wanted a particular Raquel Welch wig similar to my shorter hairstyle and salt & pepper haircolor. Michelle is very knowledgeable and was very helpful and Im thankful! I wont hesitate to refer others to Wig Villa!

I purchased a wig by you about 3 weeks ago. I like it but its too much hair on top. Is it possible to thin it (alot)?

A friend and I went here today. Michelle listened to our likes and dislikes. She made suggestions and we both tried on several that we really liked. I bought 2 and my friend bought one. We will be repeat customers for sure.

Bought today 1 wig for my sister who is going through the Chemo therapy , paid 300 dollars for a not human hair wig, the owner was very rude not letting try wig , berelly let us try one. And charged a fortune. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.

I have been shopping at Wig Villa for more than a decade. I always appreciate the help I get there. Thats why I gave many referrals to my friends and they feel the same. The owner works so hard to meet all kinds of customers all by her self so patiently. I believe real customers know that is true and she deserves at least some compliment.

I am a cancer patient. Worse than being a cancer patient was to know Im gonna lose most hairs. However, I am so relieved now and even happier that Michelle at Wig Villa found me a couple of beautiful wigs with which I can go through my treatment. I think I am gonna enjoy these than suffering. I have alopecia areata. While visiting my daughter in Florida, we stopped by Michelle’s store. She let me try on any wig I wanted and gave me such great advise on each and every one. She took her time with me and did not pressure me at all. I ended up buying three and am so pleased at the quality of them all. Thank you Michelle! I will be back when visiting again! Awesome place and the owner was very patient. The shop was very well maintained and the inventory was suprising so much to look at. All sorts of styles and colors.

Stopped in to buy a couple of wigs. I tried on a few and said to her, I will come back tomorrow. She got so made cause I did not have my cash on me. She stopped helping me. Mind you I have purchased several of her wigs. She refused to help me any further. I will never give back to her store again. Very unprofessional. I was only staying a few minutes away. The Proprietor is very helpful and knowledgeable. The selection is incredible, there is every style and color you can imagine. They are even able to trim wigs to customers requests. This is a real gem. There is no other shop around with this selection and service.

It was really hard to find nice styles in town until I came across Wig Villa. The store is the history itself and I got what I was looking for. Wonderful service and experience!

When I first walked into Wig Villa, I wasnt sure what to expect. I was very upset, having experienced some sudden and severe hair loss due to surgery and medications. Michelle, the manager immediately put me at ease, calming my concerns and assuring me that my anxiety was normal and demonstrating that she would take her time to make sure I had exactly what I needed. She examined my hair for color, style and consistency and left to find some samples of what might fit the bill. I had also been concerned that I might have to order the right color and style, but the Wig Villas inventory was extensive enough to suit anyones request. When she returned, she had several wigs for me to try on both with and without a cap. Her instincts were so dead on that the second wig she brought me was perfect; so perfect, in fact, that I started to cry in sheer relief that I had found a temporary respite to the ordeal Id been experiencing. I even asked her to take a picture so I could text it to my sisters, both of whom agreed it looked like my real hair - only better. I cannot say enough about this dear lady and the wonderful experience I had at Wig Villa. I only wish I had gone sooner.

The owner is a caring person and I dont think any one can provide better prices and products anywhere.

Stopped in with a friend who was looking for a change in style. The owner was so rude and said that her wigs were only for people who needed them and our hair was fine. She said we needed to leave and to read her store policies. I have never come across a more rude person in customer service in my life. Why should it matter our reason for wanting to buy a wig? Our money is as good as anyone else? I would never go in there again or recommend. She basically kicked us out upon entering the store and made us feel so unwelcome like we were doing something wrong.

I had same experience as Liz Hogan who reviewed this shop two years ago, and gave them a one star. Please read her review. They should post a sign on the front door that: If you are not medically/cosmetically in need of a wig, do not shop here. You are not welcome and we will not sell to you.

She keeps changing my post to how great this store is. I had such a bad experience. I was not allowed to touch or feel anything. I was trying to go for a look that was lighter, but she kept insisting that I could not. What about what I wanted? Isnt she in this for what the customer wants? Isnt is about making money? Arent you supposed to say, hey, looks great cha$$hing??? She had the cheaper wigs all pretty in a corner, but would literally chide me, no no those not for you, those cheap wigs. No. I would look at one and have to BEG to try it on.In the end, I looked like a soccer mom and bought it out of duress. I was so uncomfortable. She said pick one or get out. I spent 200 dollars on a wig I eventually sold for 50 on ebay, one that I wore twice. I found that just down the road there was an amazing wig shop that catered mostly to ethnic women but they did have other colors of wigs and they were incredibly cheap and I did get what I wanted and it was a clearance wig. I am now happy but Id NEVERRRRRRR GO BACK

I felt very pressured to buy and it made for a really unpleasant shopping experience. I need time to think about whether I like a style, but the saleslady was pushy to the point of being rude. My simple questions and comments were met with a condescending attitude.Also, the prices on the wigs are not marked, so when you ask how much a wig costs, she makes a number up. How could she possibly have the prices of all the wigs in her inventory memorized? Seems like she makes up a price however she sees fit. If you shop here, DEMAND TO SEE WHERE THE PRICES ARE LISTED...the packaging should show the price.I really do not recommend this place.
