Absolutely an amazing experience for my daughters first visit to the dentist. Dr. Green took his time with my daughter and made her feel so comfortable in his care. I would definitely recommend Daytona Pediatric Dentistry if youre looking for quality care for your little one.

Dr. Green saved my son’s permanent tooth after an injury that he suffered. As a new patient, Dr. Green realized this situation needed his immediate attention and he created time in his demanding schedule, so that my child’s front tooth could be restored. No other dentist that I had visited offered me any hope for a child that was so young. Dr. Green was attentive, thoughtful, conscientious and caring. He was patient and his staff was extremely accommodating to my needs as a parent. I am confident that if Dr. Green could accomplish this great feat, he can also help your child, too. Dr. Green was knowledgeable and seemed to be abreast of the latest developments in dental research. Dr. Green is now my child’s new dentist.

Love taking my girls here. The staff is kind and patient with the kids. Doctor Green is very memorable with all of his spider man gear. My youngest loves knowing he is going to check on her teeth. It is great knowing they are well taken care of each visit.

Great experience with Daytona Pediatric Dentistry. They always make my son feel comfortable. However, he was really disappointed today as the dentist said he could pick something from the treasure chest when he was all done. When he finished and went to the front though it turns out that there was no treasure chest? Not a huge deal for older kids, but for a three year old it was pretty upsetting. Especially since hed been promised so many times during the visit. Again, not a big deal, and we love this practice. Just providing feedback.

The staff, nurses, and Dr. Greene were wonderful. They made my daughter feel very comfortable being that this was her first dental appointment. However, we were there for almost 2 hours! It would have been nice to be informed of any delays. I had my special needs son there who had grown restless. Also, I had other appointments which I could not fulfill because of time. Because of that I can only give 4 stars.

I am in a state of complete gratitude to the entire team at Daytona Pediatric Dentistry. My 5 year old needed a tooth pulled as it was decaying. We had tried 3 times at other dentists, but failed. I wasnt sure if this time we would be successful, but Dr. Greene and his staff were amazing. Every word spoken to my child was thoughtful and kind. They made her comfortable and took their time. Their professionalize was outstanding, and step-by-step I witnessed my childs tooth come out with ease. Thank you Dr. Greene, you are an amazing dentist and such a blessing to our community. I would give this so called business 0 stars if I were able to! Over the past year, theyve re scheduled my sons appointment more then 3 times! No, its not due to covid either. Today I had an appointment that was scheduled at 330 get changed to 130. I had no clue it was changed until at 140 I got a text saying my child was a no show. I call & ask them how was he a no show when his appointment isnt until 330? He said... Ohh you didnt get our call yesterday? We had to move you to 130...! WHAT! He doesnt even get out of school til 230 thats why i made the appointment for after school! No, I got no call let alone the voice mail they said they left. I flat out told him my child will not be going back to this very unprofessional place. I dont have time to play these games of waiting 6 months for an appointment just for them to be re scheduled less then 24 hours before has to be seen. Let alone the tims we have to take off work, just for them to get moved! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!

My 3 year old daughter has her first dental exam at this office yesterday. They are friendly, polite, professional and SO GOOD WITH KIDS! I am so happy I found them. Definitely recommend!

I have been bringing my daughter to Dr. Green for a few months now. She is VERY dental phobic so it took a few tries for her to adjust. Dr. Green and his staff, from front staff to assistants, are just absolutely amazing. Highly recommend for your pediatric dental needs!

Today was our daughters first dentistry visit ever. From the moment we walked in, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was organized, prompt and there was no delay for our appointment. Lucy was the dental hygienist, and she made my daughter feel very comfortable. Dr. Green was also very kind to our daughter. It was a little difficult to hear both of them with their masks on, but I just made a more conscious effort to hear them. Dr. Green explained a few things to me that he was seeing, and invited me to see the examples myself instead of just telling me. They were very efficient and when my daughter left, she was in great spirits. I am actually looking forward to her next cleaning there. Great experience overall.

This place is great. The front desk is the most pleasant and nice of any dentist Ive ever been to. The dental assistant we had while we were there was above and beyond amazing. Every staff member there was so polite and nice and helpful. Except, for the dentist. I dont understand why this doctor owns a pediatric dentistry. He didnt talk to my 2 year old daughter at all before holding her down to check her teeth. He said Hi to her. Thats it. It was disappointing. On top of that, there is a 14 month waiting list for surgeries where your child needs to be put under. At that point you may as well not do surgery. Im going elsewhere for the surgery, and if I can find a better doctor, elsewhere for my daughters dental care. Its disappointing because the office staff is beyond amazing. And maybe the dentist will be better in the future, maybe he was having an off day, maybe he doesnt like working with children so young. I dont know, I just know I want more care put into my daughters dental care.

My son went here almost 2 years ago and that visit didn’t end well. The woman lost patience with him in which made me make the decision to stop going there. Recently, my son had to have an emergency extraction which we came to Daytona Pediatric Dentistry for because they took his insurance. I read new reviews and I was very satisfied with how fast we were able to get in due to the setbacks everywhere due to COVID. This last visit went 10 times better then our last. Dr. Green is so kind and patient. My son had his tooth extracted and due to his procedures he didn’t even know he had just gotten a tooth pulled. Thank you Daytona Pediatric Dentistry!

My daughter Mia has a fear of any healthcare facility. She has had a rough year for a 5 year old when it comes to needles and other procedures. She associates going to any doctor with needles because of it. She was terrified going into the dentist. The staff and Dr. Green were absolutely amazing! They accommodated her to calm her down and to gain her trust. While she still wouldnt allow the hygienist to clean her teeth or take xrays, she did allow Dr. Green to look at them. So, thats a start! Thank you all for being so understanding.

I took my daughter here this morning. My daughter had SPD and severe anxiety, so I was bracing myself for the worst hoping for the best. All I can say is we received the BEST!!! All the employees were amazing and extremely nice and we all worked together to make this a positive experience for her. I would recommend them over and over.

The ladies and gentlemen who work here are always very pleasant and welcoming. I would say its a pleasure to come here. They are also very professional and the procedures are done with care and thoughtfulness. They are very gentle and cognizant of their patient.

Staff is super friendly and my kids loved all of it. The dentist was great the hygienist was great. The front desk was very nice as well. The kids loved the award for no cavities and the no cavity board they got to put their names on. The prizes were great too, they are already talking about their next visit in six months ☺️

Overall experience was ok but! My child has had her appointment rescheduled 3 times. How can someone run a business like this! Its infuriating because its such an inconvenience to take off from work during this time just to be told nope sorry not today.This most recent one we had no notice of the reschedule even though we had an appointment card stating the appointment time

This dentist office is amazing! Got my daughter in quick and had her in surgery within a week of our first appointment. All of the Dentist are very friendly and gentle with my precious 2 year old daughter. Surgery went great and she literally bounced back the very next day! I can’t thank everyone there enough. She had her post op check up today and she’s doing great. We we’re on time to our appointment and they got us right in. Worth the 3 hour drive from home for my baby!!!

Dentist was quick to get you in and out and not in the good way. Felt like a number. Not personal at all. Made my daughter go on a waiting list for over a year because we have Medicaid. My daughter is in pain, and it makes me upset that they wont even start a plan for her. She has cavities and theyre only getting worse. Messes with her self esteem as they are in the front. Dentist told me she has to put my daughter under anesthesia and do everything at once. I was not happy about that. They are her baby teeth, shes going to loose them. Just doesnt make sense to me. I do not recommend this place if you have Medicaid, because unless you have money to pay for everything up front, they treat you like an insect.

I am employed by Daytona Pediatric Dentistry and can assure all parents that our office is TOP NOTCH! Dr. Arruda is one of the sweetest and most caring people I know and our staff is awesome. Not in any way, shape or form would our practice ever have any reason for taking advantage of our patients and their need for dental treatment. We do not force any treatment on our young patients and care very much about their health. The office and environment are friendly and easy going. The cleanliness of the office is very good and our assistants take great care in keeping every inch of our work environment up to par. I stand behind my employer in the respect that if Daytona Pediatric Dentistry was any less than the BEST, I would not have even considered employment with their establishment.

This pediatric dentist is absolutely AMAZING!!! I totally recommend Dr. Arruda!! She has helped my daughter when she broke a tooth an my son when he chipped a tooth. Very impressed! I took my 2 year old here today, it was his first trip to the dentist. I was a little nervous about how he was going to react. The dental assistant, Candy, was amazing and so patient. She didnt rush through the process and took her time explaining everything she was doing, she even explained what tools she was using, and let my son play with them. We were 4 minutes late for my childrens Dentist appoinment, and they told me they could not see my children today due to lateness. Four minutes!!!!!! We drove an hour to get to this Dentist office!! I was told that I should have called. We will never go there again. The front office is also dirty with very rude receptionists. BEWARE!

My visit here today was the last visit I will have here. I have four children that were seen at this office. Needless to say I will be finding another dentist. The day summer break started I took my oldest son here to have his teeth cleaned. We found out he had a cavity and they set him a appointment for today. Yes that long out for a filling which didnt bother me because he needed it done. When I showed up in the office with his step mother I was told he couldnt be seen if I left without a notarized statement saying his other legal guardian can stay with him. I explained to the lady that I had to work and I came in to give my permission. Mind you he lives with his step mother and father. Also his insurance that they have no problem billing is under her name. She didnt care. She told me to get the paper notarized. Told her I would run to the bank and get the paper signed and she informed me that the five minutes it would take me to do that she had to reschedule his appointment. Are you kidding me. One I can understand if a aunt ,uncle or friend showed up with him to get him treated but she is a legal guardian. There is no reason why my poor son could not have been seen today other then they didnt want to work. Ever time I have been here there has been a problem or I am in the waiting room for a hour sometimes two. I highly recommend you dont take you kids here. They do not look out for the best in your child. I told the lady i was no longer going to bring my children here and shs said okay. With no hesitation.So today this office lost 4 children. And I will be telling everyone I know who bring there kids here about my experience.

Dr Arruda is one of the best dentist ive ever taken my kids too!!! My son absolutely adores her. She takes the time to get to your child as a person, not just a patient. I recommend her to any parent who really wants their child to get the best dental care. The office manager is very hands on as well and really big on making sure that all patients and parents are taken care of. The assistants are pleasant as well. From beginning to end, the experience is WONDERFUL!!!

This office smell like Walmart bathrooms - such a strong smell of cheap air freshener that you cant breath. I would expect that a childrens doctor would know that air fresheners can trigger allergies and asthma in children. I have asked the front desk to adjust it and they didnt seem to care about it.

Virginia you are so right Dr. Poppa should not be a pediatric dentist. My 8 year old daughter started to cry because Dr. Poppa scared her with her demeanor and she told her to stop crying and she would not let me comfort her! That is not a pediatric dentist they dont yell at kids! They just called me yesterday to get my new insurance information and she didnt even have an appointment and they knew how upset I was when I walked out the door and I said she is not going their any more she is going to another dentist the office girl didnt know want to say. She finally said come pick up the records and I said no email me the release form and you can send them directly to her new dentist, she actually didnt know what I was speaking about because their first language is Spanish so I had to explain to her and she finally understood! I would never send my daughter their again that would be child abuse in my eyes!!!!

The first appointment was at 2:30 got out of there after 5... Then they have to do one cavity at a time... Not kid friendly.... After sitting in a waiting room yeah small children get restless... The next appointment was OK until the end... The machine took my babys coin.. instead of giving my baby another coin they were like sorry... My kid was up set about that.... The next appointment I called to say I was in traffic I was running ten minutes late... They say sure come in... Get there 6 minutes late and have to argue to be seen.... But yall told me to come on and drive safe are you kidding me..you should have rescheduled me when I called ... then this time my kid got upset about the nitrous on his nose after finally getting him to calm down they say we have to reschedule you... Really after I drove all the way here and waited 30 minutes.... Every cavity is a separate appointment instead of doing each side at a time ... Anything to get that Medicaid check... I wouldnt send my worst enemy here...

Never had a problem with the staff or dentist. They have always been professional and very patient with my daughter.

The front desk is unbelievably rude to me EVERY time I call or whenever I get there to check in for an appointment. You also wait in the waiting room for at least an hour to be seen. If my daughters work was done properly four months ago, she wouldnt need to be seen again so soon. Dr. Arruda is great, but unfortunately Dr. Falastin did the work on my daughter. Dr. Arruda said my daughter needed a filling and Dr. Falastin decided she didnt want to do it. . . I didnt find this out until after my daughter was out of surgery and it was the first thing I noticed. I asked why the filling wasnt done and she said it wasnt necessary. My daughter is now in so much pain, four months later. At our most recent appointment when I went in because my daughter is now in pain, they said Dr. Falastin had written down that she did the filling. I told them it was NEVER done and they said well thats what our paperwork says. So now theyre incorrectly reporting what theyve done? Hmmm so they must have gotten paid for a filling they DIDNT do. I had an appointment to have it done in office and asked for it to be moved sooner because my daughter is in a lot of pain and the lady on the phone was so rude to me and said there was nothing she could do. I dont know how they run things here, but my daughters amazing pediatrician ALWAYS prioritizes children that are in pain and will get them in ASAP. I guess thats not how they run things here. I go here because they take my daughters insurance but after this next visit well be finding a new dentist. Ive already told everyone I know, if you love your child you wont take them here.

Over a year ago I miss an appointment and because I missed the appointment they would not see me again

Dentist Falastin Abu Samn was ignorant at best, or a liar at worst. In regards to dental health and diet she told me if I wanted to know what deficiencies caused weak teeth she said go ask my pediatrician and that nutrition was out of her scope. When asked about controlling cavities, she said it was impossible and that they are a highly infectious disease that cant be cured. This is false; the cavities are caused by streptococcus mutans bacteria which can be killed with peppermint, cinnamon and licorice, as well as coconut oil, an antibacterial (hence why toothpastes use peppermint and cinnamon). 7 mo ago my daughter didnt have a single cavity at her last checkup, elsewhere. She called me a liar, saying Id have to see proof to believe that, and then went on to say nutrition plays NO role in health of the teeth. This is beyond ignorant, especially considering diet was the only change in my daughters dental hygiene in the last 7 mo. She wanted to give my daughter a crown for her chipped molar, which was to be expected and fine with me. She wanted to give the surrounding teeth crowns because they were touching and the bacteria that causes caries is a highly infectious disease as she claimed the chip was not caused by trauma, but rather tooth decay that had been going on for longer than a year -but her tooth chipped 3 weeks ago--- insinuating she wanted to give my daughter crowns as a PREVENTATIVE. 6 CROWNS, 5 additional fillings, and for my daughter to be put to sleep at the hospital to have all this work done at the same time. When I objected to this, she belittled me saying I didnt go to school to learn to read the xray pictures like her (because visibly the cavities were mostly the size of the period at the end of this sentence.) She claimed her cavities were in the dentin but very clearly according to the xrays were not anywhere near the dentin. And I expressed concern that I would not allow my daughter to be put to sleep for UNNECESSARY crowns, But agreed that the one chipped molar needed to be crowned and that I agreed to the more extensive cavity to be filled. She then told me that Well we can try to get all this work done in several visits under laughing gas and do the crowns one side at a time... When I asked her what restrictions she suggested for a crown she told me she does not suggest any restrictions at her practice-- this is dangerous as sticky foods such as taffy or tootsie rolls can detach the crown from the tooth. Hard foods such as raw carrots and hard nuts can weaken and cause the bond under the crown to fail, resulting in the crown to detach-- in which case youll have to come back and she will get paid again for a reattachment. I asked what she suggested we do for the enamel being chipped off my daughters front tooth, and she wanted to do NOTHING for her, but a wait and see approach. this was appalling as she knew we were going to NY in a few weeks and I didnt want my daughter to suffer cold pain. I agreed to the needed crown but still objected to the other 5 crowns and then she told me, Well if you dont want to do ALL of the work then you cant get ANY work done here and I suggest you go somewhere else and get a second opinion done. Do NOT take your kids here. Their health should ALWAYS be more important than her wealth!! Worst dentist I have EVER been to.

BEWARE!!!!! 5 out of 8 ⭐️ reviews had a bad experience and know there are many many more!!! Awful office!! We also went on a waiting list for a year refused to split the treatment plan up 9 months later when I got 2 other opinions and asked them if we can start any treatment and didnt want to put my daughter under anesteasia for extraction of 4 baby teeth!!!! I found out then they labeled my daughter as being problematic and difficult when she did NOTHING in the one and only visit to suggest that she would be if they did any extractions!! I think they label the kids as such so they dont have to do the work there, I only found about it when I called 9 months later to see if we could start any treatment instead of waiting another 4 months!! I was shocked when they said that this was the reason!! I was told she had to do the surgery route bc of her having asthma. My daughter has no anxiety about the dentist Never has. She goes to LeCompe currently and went to Dr McDonalds office and loved going for the last 8yrs. For them to say that about my daughter really upsets me and is just a way for them to get out of doing the work. Which I am happy that they arent now!! I will be reporting this office!! Also office needs to updated and cleaned!!! Maybe doors in the rooms instead of kids hear everything that goes on while they are waiting to be seen for an hour!! If they specialize in pediatric dentistry then they should know how to make kids comfortable and not refer everything to surgery!!! Not a pediatric dentist in my opinion they havent been able to keep one dentist in over a year!! At least 3 are mentioned in the reviews alone!!! This is why Dr McDonald office said not to let them do surgery on my daughter!!! He is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, BEST GREAT WITH CHILDREN!!! Kids love going!!!I went threw a bad divorce and went to this office I am reviewing bc of insurance purposes but never again!!!

These people are awful youre better off going to go get a veterinarian to do your kids teeth then these people at this dentist office there unprofessional theyre rude and inconsiderate and everything else you can think of and hateful to say about them its true they dont have your kids health in mine at all all they care about is the bottom line and thats it of course everything runs on the bottom line but this is state Insurance and regardless of that they still dont have your kids in the best interest you be better off going somewhere else.

Walked in and got scheduled right away on a busy weekday

One Word Sucks and then calls you back to say you didnt have to rate them at a 1 star
