When I first heard about somatic therapy I will admit I was a bit skeptical of what it could do for me but I was open and willing to try anything outside of traditional therapy, which had not done much for me in the past. Plagued by anxiety and fear throughout most of my life I was very nervous meeting Michael for the first time but he made me feel immediately at ease, and eventually I found great comfort and safety in his presence. Michael has given me so many tools to cope with not only my anxiety and past traumas but also the ups and downs of every day life. The work that we did is indescribable. I am beyond thankful for his knowledge and abilities, as well as I am proud of myself for showing up.
