Really friendly and attentive care every time I go to this urgent care. People in Davis have a PhD in complaining, the negative reviews don’t reflect the qualify of care I have received. This Urgent care is way cleaner and more helpful than any one I have gone to in Sacramento

Long wait time with no other patients, rude and unprofessional staff, dirty facility. Doctor was good but I wouldn’t recommend going here unless it’s your only option.

The person at the front desk was not at all helpful. I was the only person waiting when I visited but it took them a LONG time to get to me. The doctor/nurse both were not wearing gloves while examining. I would not recommend this place to anyone requiring urgent care.

The staff was helpful and polite. I was there right when they opened with another person ahead of me. The wait was about 25 minutes and when they called me back they were helpful and efficient. I was there for maybe 45 minutes in total. Not bad for urgent care.

I booked appointment online for COVID test and when I went to the urgent care, there was a sign on the door saying if you have appointment for COVID testing, stay in your car and give us a call so I did call them from my car and after they put my on hold for over 5 min, she said we dont take appointment online, you need to send it through email and we cannot take you today, you need to come after 2 days, knowing Im coming from Sacramento to Davis and I need to take time off from my work.Really bad service and disrespectful of people and their time.

I dont write reviews at all, but this was hands down the worst experience Ive probably ever had at a medical facility. The woman who did my x-rays was beyond impatient and extremely snappy and rude - she gave confusing instructions, then got irritated when I couldnt understand what she wanted. She should not be working in medicine. It was a Sunday with nobody there and it took about 1.5 hours to finish up.

I looked on the County Public Health site to find a Covid test site on the weekend. It sent me to Davis Urgent Care -which requires an appointment for a test. There are a few dozen test times available every day. I made an appointment online for a test on Saturday, because I work M-F. Davis Urgent Care confirmed the time/date. I drove down to their facility at my time and just before my appointment, I received an email from DUC saying the appointment had been cancelled. What the heck? I called them from the parking lot. The gal who answered the phone told me they dont have staff to administer tests on the weekends. Why did your system allow me to book an appointment?, I asked. Answer: I dont know, we get that question all the time. Something is wrong with our website because we dont take appointments on the weekends or weekday afternoons. Really? Wasted 1.5 hours of my weekend, and I dud not get a test. Too late to book somewhere else. Ugh - Im not happy.😩

Deserve no stars. Will demand my money of 120 bucks returned to me. So called Dr. Justin English examined my foot WITHOUT wearing gloves. No name tag. The women who may have been nurses were not wearing gloves or name tags. I demanded my money back. I am not done with this outfit! Do not go there! Go to emergency. And deal with professionals. I am still in pain with an ingrown toenail that my loving puppy caused by breaking my nail. Not his fault. He stepped on my toe again. I am in serious pain. Something Urgent Care could have taken care of. They even provided me a price for the procedure. I was willing to pay!!!! This place should be shut down! They will hear from me again and again AGAIN.

While our family has received good quality care in the past; This time was notably different. I went in with chest/shoulder pain and throbbing in my left arm. I didnt go to the E.R. because I had a recent shoulder injury from swimming and didnt want to overreact. Yet ,having had a an episode with an irregular heartbeat the week prior I wanted to be cautious.I called ahead and asked if they had an EKG machine.I was assured they did and the Dr. would determine if it was necessary. The doctor on duty was a retired general physician.Well, The good doctor walked in; listened to my history; took my pulse, said I was fine and joked about how unusual it would be for a woman my age to have experienced an irregular heartbeat. He then postulated that the attending Cardiologist at UC San Diego, E.R. may have given me a misdiagnoses and perhaps I simply had an allergic reaction to something I ate.Seriously? This Dr. was arrogant enough to imagine that he knew better an attending cardiologist {and team} at one of the finest medical hospitals in the World. He then bragged about his own good health while advising me to lose weight.I feel the standard of care I received was poor and questionable.I will not patronize this Urgent care again.

Awful, just awful. My fiance saw some old grungy burnout doctor, who ran some basic tests, couldnt find anything wrong, and sent her on her way despite emergency symptoms. That night I took her to Dignity Health ER, and they took her seriously, treated her, and gave us physical copies of all the blood and urine test results immediately. This place is ill-equipped, staffed by bad doctors, doctors that I could do better than, and its okay if the UC medical group, of which both of us have barb served by, and neither of us have had exceptional experiences with... more negative than not. If you can, switch to Sutter or Dignity Health as they take good, professional care of their patients. They actually care

I called ahead of time to ensure their office accepted our insurance, since we were coming from Sacramento....the receptionist I spoke to confirmed they did. Once I completed my documents and provided the insurance information, the same receptionist I spoke to early said she couldnt find the specific insurance because there were multiple ones in the system. I was asking questions about the differences between the insurances and what the abbreviations stood for, so I could assist with selecting the correct one. After a few unanswered questions and a blank stare from the receptionist, I realized she was completely incompetent in her job and I was getting nowhere. We ended up leaving and taking our 6 year old daughter elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience - in and out in such a short time. And they were very thorough, to eliminate possible infections I might have. I left feeling so much better because they had tested for everything, and I learned that I did not have pneumonia, which is why I went there. Thank you so much for all the helpful information.

From the time i entered the building it took an hour to be seen. The front desk person Chase was really loud and inconsiderate of the people in the lobby. I had called ahead of time on the phone to check to see if they accept my insurance, they said yes, however when i arrived they still charged me the 120$ fee to be seen. When i was brought in I told the front desk person what had happened, he took notes and left the room. About 10 minutes later another attendant came in to tell me that the doctor would be another 20+ minutes. The doctor came in and she was nice, however she had no idea of my situation or the reason I had came in, as if the team did not communicate the situation to one another. She left the room for another 5-7 minutes and came back and ran a test. She told me that she would write me a prescription, however when i got back to the front desk they did not give me my prescription, and charged me more money for the test.

My daughter has high fever and terrible cough and we took her to Sutter Davis ER. After sitting in the waiting area for over 4 hours, we decided to look for alternative. We found this urgent care in Davis (must be new, since we have never found them online before) and decided to give them a try.Fortunately they took our insurance (Great Western Health Advantage) and the registration process was quick. The facility is clean and spacious. We saw the doctor quickly and were happy with the service we received. In the future, we would consider going back to this urgent care.

My bank shows the transaction, but Office Staff says its unpaid & Im getting scary collections letters! Getting the run-around & still working on resolving it. Sad. Next time, Ill go elsewhere.

Went in with a horrible case of the flu. Got right in to see the doctor and left 15 minutes later with my prescription. Did have a billing error where I was sent an additional bill a week or so after my visit, but they were nice about correcting that. In all, a great experience.

Stay away from this place! You will not see a physician despite their web page listing two physicians. I saw a physicians assistant, Jenny Figueroa, who was absolutely horrible. She was unable to determine what I had, Spent less than 7 minutes with me, and suggested I see a dermatologist. She then submitted charges of $296.40. I was told they accept my insurance, but it appears now this is not true. Their services stink, and they will steal your money without informing you that insurance will not cover.

Why did go? I went to DUC after experiencing the WORST symptoms for what I thought was a head cold. Valerie Venghiattis PA-C was not only knowledgeable, reassuring, empathetic but quick to identify the root of my general malaise: Seasonal Allergy also known as Hay Fever. My general experience: The clinic was well equipped, clean, quiet and peaceful.Greeted by Sandra and overall very attentive and professional staff. The doctor: It was my perception that the physician was really there for me. She was so enthusiastic about deciphering what I had that just watching her made me feel hopeful -.I walked away with Rx in hand and already feeling so much better because I felt I was treated with respect and genuine care.

Worst experience ever, just go to Davis Sutter. Went in knowing I had mono from a previous test, yet theirs came back negative. Told me to go home and take some Tylenol and gave me a prescription for antibiotics. Ended up in the hospital two days later with severe sepsis and dehydration. Hospital confirmed mono (again). Doctor was a complete jerk to me, didnt believe I was that sick, and told me youre young youll get over it

I had a terrible experience, with an uncomfortable exam and diagnosis which didnt make sense given my symptoms after they tried to give me the same test twice, from a provider (according to the MA) wearing cargo pants, sneakers and an admittedly nice hoodie. No jacket, no scrubs, no name tag. She offered no advice as to treatment, but did give me a prescription when I asked for it for the condition that brought me there in the first place - a chronic problem which I knew was going to require it. Oddly, she wrote it for an nonsensical number more than twice as many pills as the directions said to take.Maybe she was inexperienced, although the prescription listed her as the prescriber rather than the facility doctor (according to the website - shes not listed under staff), but for credentials the rx says UKN, unknown. (Its a whole other question why a pharmacy would fill a prescription from someone for whom it doesnt have credentials but maybe they know something I dont know.)No one had a name tag so I cant actually tell you who anyone was even after looking at their website. However, since there was only one other patient the doctor (a male according to the website) couldnt have been too busy to at least stick his head in. I would not have gone if I knew I wouldnt see a doctor, since physician on site all hours is one of the selling points of urgent care. The two stars is for the front desk staff, although she did give me the photocopies of my drivers license and insurance card as well as the originals because she was busy talking to someone I think she was training, as they were at least professionally dressed.

The doctor I seen misdiagnosed me at first and slot of the information I was given by him was completely wrong!! Also don’t bother to see if they will fix there mistakes they will just leave you on hold for hours at a time as well.
