Ive been going to Dr. Jones for several years and he is one of the best dentists out there. I cant stress enough how great he is at making people feel comfortable. Every visit with him, I felt like I was visiting an old friend rather than my dentist. I know for a lot of people they might not enjoy going to the dentist, but when I was at his office I was always so excited.Not only does he make you feel at ease, he spends the time to make sure you understand what’s happening. Considering how expensive dentistry is, it is refreshing to know that there is someone to give you a clear picture of what you’re getting intoHe is extremely accommodating to patients. My friend had a dental emergency and he met with her outside of his normal hours to see her and make sure she was okay.Ultimately, I cannot understate how great of a dentist Dr. Jones is. He is the best dentist.

As always the experience was great from people greeting me graciously, holding the door open for me (I use a walker), my exam by the hygienist, my meeting with the dentist, my interactions with the front desk personnel, my questions about various equipment, and even coming out to my car in the parking lot the next day to pick the equipment - all of the service was great, warm, and very professional. Dr. Jones is a great person. I was having some trouble understanding what my options where after my first visit. Dr. Jones personally contacted me to go over my options and saw me promptly. Everyone is very nice and the ladies at the front desk are very sweet and helpful.

I love my new dentist, Dr. Blom!!! All of the staff is very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I have had my teeth cleaned, x-rays, and I had an old filling replaced. All of the work done on my teeth and mouth was top-notch. They are efficient, skilled and Dr. Blom is all about dental education empowering his patients to achieve the best hygiene practices. I have gone to Davis Dental Practice twice now and highly recommend them. The women working the front desk are very friendly and helpful and my hygienist, Tammy, is excellent. The only drawback is that dental insurance is processed as a reimbursement, so be prepared to pay for fees upfront.

Very friendly staff, everyone I met made my experience comfortable and welcoming. Dr. Blom made me feel at ease, he balances professionalism and humor well. I left feeling that I am in good hands and impressed by the atmosphere and excellent service.

Leona did a root plane and scale on me. She was quick and efficient, had me actually laughing and before I knew it, the procedure was over. I’ve had this procedure a few times before and was always left in tears, let alone never actually enjoyed myself. Great job Leona!

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Dr. Blom and his assistant Lisa, I believe, for taking care of me with great care. They are very thoughtful and heard my concerns and they did everything they can to help me out. I really do appreciate that.I was always afraid of the dentist and I used to avoid going to the dentist at all cost lol. but I do recommend going and checking up so that you don’t end up like me. Every visit is pleasant, from the front office to the hygienists and dentists. When visiting during COVID, proper procedures were followed to ensure everyones safety. This office takes the pandemic seriously, while continuing to provide great care for their patients. I always leave feeling confident in my dental health and love to come back when its time for a cleaning.

I was impressed and relieved of all the safety measures you have taken to insure good health. I am undergoing chemo for colon cancer so I was hesitant but very reassured that all is well. Leona Is also great to be with for the cleaning. Thank you to you all.

I sent in my dental insurance information and was repeatedly told my exams and cleaning were covered but what they didn’t mention is they are OUT OF NETWORK! I ended up having to pay hundreds of dollars. If I had gone to a in network dentist I would have paid $0. I was ILL-INFORMED REPEATEDLY.

I got three fillings for my small cavities here, and the dentists were very good at putting in the fillings without causing much pain. The anesthetic injection wasn’t painful for me too. I think they did a great job!

The nicest, most accommodating dental group I have ever gone to! My kids and I have been going here for over 10 years. We drive from Sacramento because I don’t want to change dentists and I trust them! They won’t encourage you to have work done that isn’t necessary. All of the hygienists are gentle during cleaning and pleasant - they really try to make sure you are comfortable.

It’s no good having great dentist if the front desk is hateful and misleading. Katherine is the reason I no longer go here. She told me my insurance covered me and insisted it was safe to have allot of work done there then it was not covered at all. I later called to be seen a year later and she insisted I never came there before. They had all my xrays and therefore I could not send them to another dentist. Worst staff person ever. When they fire her, maybe I will go back.

A professional and empathetic dentist means minimal pain/maximum care. The dental artistry was magic! I had been previously advised at another office that I would lose a molar and a tooth and then would need implants. Davis Dental saved both teeth, and fixed them with crowns. Small family businesses can use state-of-the-art technology AND save you money.

After calling in with swelling and pain, they scheduled an emergency visit first thing the the next morning. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and reassuring. They clearly explained what they were going to do beforehand and answered all of my questions.Thank you for the excellent care!

I never write reviews but Davis Dental practice definitely deserves one. Going to the dentist is hard for me in the first place and having an office with poor management makes it extremely hard to get myself the care I need. Davis Dental practice makes checking in, scheduling appointments, and, most importantly, figuring out insurance EASY. They actually answer their phone when you call them! I experienced a lost filling and broken tooth at 11 a.m. today. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Jones at 1:30 p.m. I am so grateful that he asked if I could stay to get the tooth fixed. He worked me into his schedule and I left about 3:30 with the tooth rebuilt and a temporary crown. I am ever so grateful to everyone in the office who helped for this to happen.Donna Mason

I have been attending this practice for years and I can say this place is amazing. It is by far the cleanest office Ive been in with a terrific and helpful staff . Behind the scenes is where the magic happens as they have an extremely experienced and professional staff of hygienists that have grace and precision in their cleanings. Its all tied together as the dentist came out personally to check up on me and thank me, making me feel like they truly care about health. Rachel is a wonderful hygienist and Dr. Johnson has the softest, gentlest hands of any dentist Ive ever been to. They both have a great bedside manner and they know their stuff, too. I have been patient of Dr. Paul Johnson since my sons were in grade school. They are in their late 20s now! I cant say enough postive things about his practice. Dr. Johnson is gentle, kind and thorough. He knows his patients well. Leslie, my dental hygienist, consistently checks my medication history and provides up-to-date, research-based preventative care. The treatment rooms are immaculate. Lastly, the office staff are helpful and courteous.

Dagon Jones, the staff, the receptionists and the environment are all top quality here. I have had my share of good and terrible dentists. This office is one of the best I have ever been to. They make every effort to help keep you calm for procedures even if you arent very comfortable communicating your nervousness. I couldnt afford the copay to replace a crown that a previous dentist put on terribly, the staff was kind and understanding and would remind me I would need to replace it but never pushed about it. When I was finally able to replace it, yeah it was uncomfortable, it was a crown on a live tooth so I understood there would be some discomfort & they worked with me the whole time. The outcome was fantastic, it fit perfect, the color was correct & they told me there would be sensitivity for a while, which did eventually go away, I can happily chew away with it now. The cleanings are always great too. I definitely recommend their services.

Dr. Johnson is the best, his practice is professional, courteous, and well managed. I have appointments for cleaning and review of my dental history, and always have excellent results. I have only had positive experiences here. From little children to grown ups we all have received great care.The only regret I have is that they are not part of Delta Dental network and the out of pockets do add up to the cost of care.

I have been to this practice for years and it just keeps getting better. It is easy to schedule appointments, the front desk staff is super friendly and helpful, and the hygienists and doctors are knowledgeable and good at what they do. I like the texts to confirm my appointments and now they will even email me a receipt instead of printing one out.

All hygienists and doctors Ive met with here have been incredibly thorough and kind. Theyve focused a lot on preventative care and education with me, which I appreciate a lot! Their receptionists are also on their game, and booking regular appointments has been easy and the reminders are extremely helpful.

I had been amiss in seeing a dentist for a time due to an unhappy experience with another local dentist. I finally decided I really needed to get back on a schedule, and found a review of Dr. Jones on Daviswiki, which was quite positive. I have been seeing him and his staff for several years now, and am quite pleased. They have newer hi-tech equipment, and perform the newest techniques, which unfortunately arent completely covered by insurance, but I have no problem paying the difference, theyre that good!

Far and away the best dental practice Ive ever been to. Professional, courteous, and well managed. Ive used them for my annual cleanings and for Clear Correct aligners. From the front office, to the hygienists, to the dentists, I can highly recommend this practice.

I had been going to this dentist for about three years, (3-4 cleanings per year and a couple cavity fills during that time... I found this dentist because my last dentist tried to sell me a bunch of unneeded procedures (my orthodontist said they were lying, and Davis dental practice was the third opinion that agreed with the second opinion of my orthodontist...Everything had been going well, my last cleaning, about three months ago, they said everything was excellent and I had no issues, but then my most recent cleaning, a couple weeks ago they told me I had major periodontal issues and needed root planing, and scaling and a plastic mouthguard to the tune of $1,920!!!!Needless to say, Im finding another new dentist. Which sucks because I liked everything about this place up until they tried to rip me off... I gave them glowing reviews in the past...

Dr. Johnson is a wonderful person and a very skilled dentist. We have been his patients since he first bought the practice from Dr. Don Childress in 1999. Dr. Dagon is also excellent, though we see him less frequently (generally when Dr. Johnson is on vacation). The hygienists are all very knowledgeable and experienced. The office staff is friendly and efficient. We were especially impressed by the kindness shown towards my father-in-law, who had really advanced dementia, when he can in for cleanings and dental exams. We highly recommend this dental practice.

Dr Jones is the best dentist I have ever had. He isnt just competant, he has taught me a lot about my teeth. He gives advice in an unpatronizing way, like someone who is really interested, not just in the art and science of dentistry, but in every individual persons mouth.

I avoided dentists for a long time because of bad experiences, but when I started school at Davis, positive reviews on the Daviswiki convinced me to check out Dr. Jones. At the time, I hadnt been to a dentist for years and had a significant amount of dental work to complete. Dr. Jones & his staff worked up a plan for me to spread the work over several years to reduce out-of-pocket costs.I live in the Bay Area now but go back to Davis just to see Dr. Jones. No ill feelings towards any other dentists, including those who share the office, but it was Dr. Jones who helped me overcome my apprehension of dentists and hell be the only one I see for years to come. I am even willing to pay more because my insurance doesnt cover all out-of-network costs, but its worth it!!!

One of the stitches from a wisdom tooth extraction I had from another oral surgeon came undone while I was at work and was causing me a lot of discomfort. Dr. Jones office is right down the street from where I work and I came in asked if he could remove it. He did it free of charge! Really nice person and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a regular dentist.

Without exaggeration, hyperbole, any of that Internet nonsense people use these days to inflate a recommendation, this is the best dentist practice I have ever dealt with. All the usual stuff is great (staff, waiting area, etc) but the hygienists have been the best, doing great work and explaining things to me, and that latter part, really helpful.The doctor part, also very good. During my first visit Dr. Jone immediately diagnosed a problem that had my previous dentist scratching his head.Also, I did have a small cavity taken care of last year, and I swear it only took 5-10 minutes max. In, out, done. No pain except for the creepy part of that needle thing (not itself painful, but still feels creepy), and perfect fit and no issues or tweaks later.But mostly, the dental hygienists taking time to show me how some of these teeth issues work, a big plus, and helps me a lot in my self-care.

I was having some pain in a tooth, which was diagnosed by Jones and referred out promptly. After a successful and painless root canal by a specialist, Jones completed the painless filling. Johnson and Jones are very competent, and I fully trust them after having a terrible history of dental experiences!

I have been with Johnson & Jones for many years. They have been excellent and do not recommend unnecessary procedure unlike the dentist that I switched from. Quick, efficient and pleasant.

I am using their services for all my dental health needs for 19 years and very satisfied. Very professional and customer oriented.

They seem to look OK as others pointed out, however they are not Delta Dental and their fees are about twice as large as Delta Dental will cover even for such simple things as cleaning and x-rays. And of course they wouldnt disclose that info upfront and when asked why my insurance that usually covers simple things at 100%, will not cover fully these services, the answer I got is dont know how to explain.

Truly the best dentist Ive ever had — I went to Dagon Jones after dissatisfaction with my last dentist. Dagon Jones takes the time to explain everything, is extremely kind, and is trustworthy and honest. I once chipped my tooth and they made time to see me *immediately* — though Dr. Jones was busy so I saw Dr Ciccarelli. Dr. Ciccarelli was also an excellent dentist; clearly this office hires only the best. The staff and dental hygienists are also top quality too. I wish all medical professionals were this excellent!

I had a great cleaning this morning. I am very pleased.

I went here on a sort of emergency basis. My crown had fallen out and needed to be re cemented. All the other dentists I had called in Davis wanted to charge a minimum of $50 more than what I paid here and could not see me until atleast the following Monday. I explained I was on a budget and they were actually able to get me out the door $68 under budget. All of the staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable with me and all the other patients that were there. I would definately recommend this place. To me there was nothing they could have done better. I am extremely satisfied with this office and will definately return for my dental needs.
