My mother was in Good Sam from August 2014 through August 2015.Good Sam brought stability to a very frustrating situation with dementia and for my family to cope and for my Mom to receive the care she needed that I was not able to give (as I am also raising my 2 daughters and working full-time).The staff (all of them, from the social service worker to the kitchen staff) were amazing with her. She really enjoyed the kitchen staff as she herself was a cook in the Davenprot School System and enjoyed talking about different ways to make food taste good.I highly recommend Good Sam to anybody looking for a safe place for parents who can no longer live on their own especially in the throws of dementia.
This is a nursing home that is a very good place for an elderly parent.
They take good care of my aging Mother in law.
Not impressed with how my grandma is treated.
