Short wait time and very helpful.

This is actuatlly for another doctor that works at Pulmonary Associates, Dr. Gross. I was referred to Pulmonary Associates by my primary care doctor. When I was talking to Dr. Gross it didnt really seem like he was interested in what I had to say or that he really wanted to help me. As I was answering his questions, it was as if I wasnt giving him the answer he wanted. He reviewed test results and since they came back normal he just brushed of my symptoms as a bug that I caught and needed time to get over. I have been going through my problems for about 4 months (at the time of my visit). I really had to put my foot down in order for him to actual suggest something that might help me.-I went in for a follow up after a I had a test done. Dr. Gross was asking me some questions and he goes well I can send you to get a EKG to see if there is anything wrong with the valves. I told him that its not the shortness of breath that bothers me but the fact that it hurts to take a deep breath. He scratched his head and wrote something down. Then all of a sudden he hands me the discharge papers and goes I dont know whats wrong with you or what to do. Maybe you should have your primary doctor send your to the University of Iowa. To add to it he said it in the most rudest tone. I dont recommend him at all. I felt frustrated and like I wasnt getting any help at all.There office doesnt seem adequately trained in dealing with insurance and billing. Once again they seemed confused with what to do with my insurance. Then they called me to ask me for my fathers number (I live on my own and pay my own bills) so they can tell him that in order for me to be able to have my follow up appointment in a couple of days they had to pay a past due bill and the co-insurance payment. When I called to tell them I only received two bills and both were payed, it took a ten minute phone call of going around in circles before they finally listened and realized they made a mistake and need to choose words more wisely. First of all they totally bypassed me when they first called me and never informed me of why they would need to talk to my dad other than it was a couple of insurance questions, not that he needed to pay anything, This place seems unorganized and I dont really feel a caring atmosphere when I walk in or from the doctor I seen.

I first was referred to Dr. Wong in June of 2018, I had just completed a sleep study, I couldn’t breathe through my nose, I wasn’t sleeping at night for months. Saw him, he stated he could read my sleep study, thought I may have sleep apnea brought on by allergies. He prescribed me a nasal spray, that night I was able to sleep! Saw him in Sept 2018, then April of 2019! I found him to be very interested in my issues, hit on some key points, I would recommend him for anyone!

Dr.Wong treated my father while he was in the hospital. He was down to earth, put my father at complete ease during a thorencotesis and checked on him the rest of his stay. Excellent care!

A fine doctor. I cant say enough good things about the good Dr. Wong.
