Son was taken here for a bee sting that he was having a bad reaction to. He had been given benedryl prior to coming in. They kept him in the waiting area for quite awhile and when he asked to use a restroom, he said the nurse acted annoyed. They kept him under observation for two hours and sent him home after mentioning that he had an irregular heartbeat, which freaked him out- and they never told him why or if it had become regular prior to leaving. I spoke with a “patient advocate” who apparently are paid to advocate for the hospital system- so don’t bother there if that’s suggested. Generally- be a little kinder to patients, folks.

Each time I have a reason to go to Genesis West, I am treated with respect, efficiency and given great attention from the physician and medical staff. The nurses, tho busy do an extremely good job of performing their duties. The x-ray technicians and others are quick to get you through your test and are extremely respectful of you privacy and your immediate needs. I wouldnt select any other hospital besides for Genesis West and East.

This medical facility has a corner on the medical market. You can not get another medical opinion in the local area..

Went in with bad knee pain and problems walking on it. Left with nothing given for the pain (would not give narcotic pain med). Read papers given on release, and they told me to go back for same reasons I was just in there. The NP refused to listen to me, was short, and did not show much compassion.
