An absolute life saver!! Cads is the ONLY other option for Methadone dosing in the Quad Cities, and anyone whos knows anything about MAT for opioid addiction will agree that CBH is MORE THAN A DOSE AND GO! They help heal families, save lives, and give the hopeless hope. The staff there have ALWAYS treated me with compassion and kindness. Dr.O is not only incredibly intelligent but is also HILARIOUS and is going to battle to to educate Drs, Jails, and thats just the tip of the iceberg. Theres so much more that he does as well. As a mother who has been battling this addiction since my back injury and had to go to PEORIA for almost 2 years after CADS kicked me out based on GOSSIP because there were no other clinics at the time, I treasure CBH for treating me with dignity, compassion, kindness and for giving me an option so I didnt have to go 2 hours away or go back to a clinic that didnt treat me that way or go back to using. They saved my life and my family.

I have been a client here for 5 years on May 18th,2019. This clinic has had a huge part in saving my life and making it a wonderful life!! The counselors are fantastic. Its the most affordable treatment I have ever found and the only treatment that worked!! They are now accepting Iowa medicaid. They do have a strict policy regarding benzodiazepines because taking benzodiazepines while on methadone can and will KILL you with the wrong dosage. These policies are used to protect the client. The CBH never EVER contacts any of your Dr.s unless you are prescribed an opioid or a benzodiazepine and you MUST sign a medical information release. CBH also offers many other services such as vivitrol and Suboxone. They offer free condoms and STD testing. They have a class available for you to take where you can learn how to properly administer Naloxone and help a person through an overdose. The Naloxone is provided for free. The Centers for Behavioral Health is a very valuable asset to our community. If you need help...they will help you!

Attended this clinic for 14 months and had many issues with how strict the policy is! They will keep you at such a low dose initially and increase so slow you are still so sick everyday suffering from withdraws! Also, if youre prescribed any kind of benzodiazepine they will call your psych and tell them that they need to take you off of them and most physicians listen as this clinic believes the mixture of the two can be toxic. I had a horrific experience and had multiple seizures due to the bezo withdraw. Also, if anything shows up in the ua, (urinalysis) that shouldnt be there they decrease your dose by 50% immediately then 10mg/day after that until your back at 30!!!Well I could continue on and on about the negatives and what to watch out for but on a positive note, all of the counselors are really compassionate, caring, and delightful!

I HAVE NEVER had ANY issues with this place and the idiot that posted about they do this and that and other stuff is VERY incorrect!! They do not taper you unless your dirty for benzos that arent yours and they do not call your doctors saying stuff incorrect things. They just let them know that you are on methadone if your on a narcotic. For YOUR safety!!!
